It's tough to find a family-friendly room in Singapore and this hotel has rooms with 2 queen beds and a private bathroom which was great. The rooms are indeed super-tiny but we expected that, and they do a good job with shelves and cubby space so we were able to fit all 4 suitcases by carefully arranging everything. No place to sit except for the beds but that was fine for our short 2 night stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. Sometimes the staff manages the front desk for both Cube hotels at the same time so occasionally there was nobody at the front desk but you can always find someone next door. It can be tricky to locate the front door the first time; it's literally just a small opening between shops; but it is findable. Everything in the room worked great and was comfortable. We also really appreciated the location in the center of chinatown with so much to see and do right out the front door, and a metro stop just a 3 minute walk away.

Biggest bummer was the noise from the room next door. Our room had the option to connect to the adjacent room so all that separated the rooms were two thin sliding doors. You could see the light from the other room right through the sides and bottom of the door and hear every single word they said just a couple feet away. We lucked into a corner room so only had 1 neighbor, but they were awake both nights until about 1am with a yelling (I mean screaming) kid, so we didn't really sleep until they did. Probably not much the hotel can do about this if they want to offer adjoining rooms, but I do recommend bringing some sort of white noise option on your phone or device to drown out the neighbors.

piece of advice. when booking for more than 1 room make sure to request that your rooms be in one floor or next to each other if possible. Request that room 302 will not be your room if possible.

I requested help from the reception to carry down the luggage of my sisters as their hotel does not have lift. The reception guy helped them to bring down 30+ KG luggage even though he finished his duty already. The room and washroom are small but acceptable. It will be better if the hotel has lift. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Thanks

Location is great. Right across from the chinatown hawker center so getting food and coffee was super easy! The beds were very comfy and the room + bathroom were clean. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. It's a great value. It's like a capsule hotel plus - the room is definitely on the small size, it's mostly bed, but there is room for a little fridge and a closet. The bottom bunk bed had a smart tv so the three of us would sometimes pile in there together to watch netflix which was mega cozy.

The room was kind of dark and although it fit the three of us just fine there wasn't a lot of room for our suitcases. We managed and it isn't a dealbreaker, but if there had been 4 of us as planned with all of our suitcases it would definitely have been crowded.

The location of this hotel is perfect - close to MRT and to nice cafes and restaurants for breakfast and tea. Very safe area, teenage children were able to find their way to and from the hotel independently. Room was perfect for what we needed - snug, but clean. Bed was comfy.

It was a little claustrophobic not having a window and natural light. But we weren't in the room very much as there is so much to see in Singapore.

Excellent location - 5 minute walk from MRT. Plenty of restraints around, 7/11 nearby for supplies. Easy check in and good for a stay with older kids. Rooms are compact but perfect for a budget city stay. Luggage holding is very helpful. Very helpful and friendly staff. This was our second time using this place, and I'd use it again.

Rooms are definitely on the small side, but it's all ok if you only have minimal luggage and that you are only using the room to sleep in.

Pretty decent place to stay in a very good location in Singapore.

The bathroom it’s too small and get water everywhere very easily. Also the curtains in the bathroom stick to your body when you’re showering, which it’s pretty uncomfortable.

Very convenient location. Loved being so close to the action at Maxwell food centre. Taxis cheap to get round to all the other usual suspects like gardens of the bay and the marina sands. Plenty to see and do around Chinatown as well. Was glad we left the majority of our luggage at the airport (storage was quick and easy there), room was small. Would have preferred windows, but we slept like babies in the lovely cool rooms so perhaps it was to our advantage!

It was very convenient and the location was good. Easy to move around and very central.

The room can be too small for adult sized family and the movement is restricted when everyone is in the room. The hotel sign could be made more visible for visitors to find as it was blocked. There were 2 separate CUBE accommodations i.e. capsule and room specific on the same street.

Great location with a very affordable price. We found the double queen bed room perfect for our family for a couple nights stay (room 210). The beds were very comfy and the room was clean. Sure it was a bit squishy but was actually more spacious than expected from some of the reviews. We used white noise to drown out the sounds from outside and the corridor. The Chinatown MRT station was very convenient as well as the bus stop. The staff were helpful although we couldn't find anyone when it was time to leave. But it didn't seem to matter.

We had no complaints. It was challenging bringing our luggage and pram up the stairs but we knew that this would be the case when we booked. Note that we went to the wrong cube hotel at first just a few doors down and didn't realise until we had already taken all our luggage up so that was a but frustrating.
