The bed was so comfortable. The fireplace was beautiful. Loved the hottub. Very clean. Also the stain glass windows were a absolutely beautiful touch. Loved the smart T.V. and little chairs to chill with my husband in. We loved the sitting areas in front of your room. Great place to just enjoy the scenery and have a smoke or drink.
I wouldn't say that I didn't like anything. But more trash cans or even a bigger one would be helpful. The tub was a ugly pink lol but worked just fine. The two shower heads were not practical I couldn't get soaped up good and could not figure out how to turn one of them off 😆 walking my fat butt up that hill after shopping was a little much but I think that's more of a me problem but wouldn't recommend it if someone needed to stay here who had mobile disabilities.

Location is perfect. You can walk everywhere in Helen so you don't have to use your car and pay for parking. The parking lots are mostly $10 so it was very convenient to be so close.
They use microfiber sheets. Pretty, but the elastic comes off and the sheet corners pop off while you're sleeping. We ended up getting up several times during the night to remake the bed. I would definitely change back to cotton sheets if I was the owner. Everything is handled online and with text, so we never saw a hotel employee. You get texted your room number and access code. You can text if you need your room cleaned, but they give you enough towels at the start so we didn't use any service the entire time at the hotel. The hotel is on the side of a hill, so the driveway is very steep. If you have trouble walking, you might need to stay elsewhere.

The location is terrific. Up on a hill with a view. Across the street from the best general store. I may stay there again, just for the location.
It’s older and could use a little bit of work. They don’t have a lobby or staff to get checked in. The check in was easy enough and online. But we had an issue with the sheets being dirty and had to call and leave a message. We got a text back saying that they sent a message to maintenance. I texted back to see if they were going to come now as it was 10:30pm. I didn’t hear back so I went to Walmart (a 20 min drive) and bought sheets. When I got back to the room… They did come and change the sheets.

Close to everything. Nice ambiance .Comfortable beds. The room had lots of storage and places to hang my clothes ,believe it or not the last place we stayed did not have a place to hang my clothes. The room was very quiet.
No elevator. Nothing to help get your bags into room. If I had known I would have requested a first floor room we are an older couple and going up and down steps is hard on us. There was hair in the shower trash under the beds and the floor was dirty you couldn't tell by looking at it but my grandaughter ran around barefoot and in her socks her feet and her socks were filthy. The bed was squeaky. The room looked very nice it just needs a little extra cleaning. We also had a hard time getting the heat adjusted.

It was very clean and so close to the shops and bars. The room was very cute had a nice size fridge and microwave. Liquid soap by the sink but no bar in the shower or shampoo etc. Great value for money for this area as i think rooms are expensive in Helen. No breakfast served ( we knew this ahead of time) but a bakery is right next door. The bakery was packed with a long line so we opted to walk across the road adjacent to the Heidi and had breakfast at the Alpine brew deck which was busy on the wrap around porch but plenty of seating inside. They were very nice and breakfast was quick and delicious. Definitely recommend the Heidi.
I loved the bed but my husband said mattress was a bit firm for him. He also said he could hear people in the room next to us but i did not as i slept great!

Jacuzzi heart shaped tub. Loved mini split HVAC. Size of room. Location to town. Lots of people commented on bugs in rooms. We did not have problem with them.
Entering room a working light switch was 30 feet away. No light over kitchenette (very dark) Pillows were rock hard. Slept without them. In kitchen, no paper towels, no cups or glasses. We had to go across street to buy drinking glasses to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary. Description of room said included mini bar. It wasn't there and kitchen very small. Small carpet had stains. Door knob was cockeyed and looked like a teen installed it. Bolt lock did not work, not aligned properly. Although tub was nice there were 3 large rock steps one was 14" tall to climb to get into the tub with no hand rails. Not good for Seniors. My wife fell into tub trying to get in. No hot water in bathroom sink or small kitchen sink. For over $200 per night this room was not worth the price.

The location was perfect to enjoy 2 days meeting the little town near everything, checking process virtual and fast ,the room had everything you need and so comfortable , housekeeping dont bother unless you ask for suplies or cleaning .I love the style of the building like taken from a book history
If i have to mention something bad maybe 🤔 the entrance to the parking lot I know that place is all hills but too inclined I accidentally scratched my car going down but not a big deal

For the most part, we enjoyed everything about this property. The looks the feel the comfort the cleanliness. The only small frustrating part about it is check-in is impersonal. You have to show up they send you a text. You have to fill out a form receive another text a little complicated, but we got through it.
Once again, like I mentioned before the only frustrating part and it wasn't that hard unless technologically you have a hard time is the check-in process. It's impersonal there's no front desk.

The hot tub in the room was amazing and you could tell it is regularly cleaned and maintained. The double showerheads were a treat and the cost for a multiple day and night stay could not be beat. All in all, a very good trip.
The door handle was a bit loose and since the entry was pin pad locked getting in an out was slightly difficult. The TV kept turning off. I don't know if it was because it was a ROKU, and other remotes could have affected it or what.

Staying in the windmill was so amazing. The room was beautiful and had lots of space to store things. The bed and room was clean. Coffee provided was a nice touch, and having the table to sit was great. I enjoyed the fridge due to all the leftovers we had from the local restaurants. And the location is perfect
Fireplace made stupidly loud noise, so we weren't able to use it. There were opened/used/ trash creamers for the coffee sitting with the new creamer. The bathroom sink sprayed water all over you any time you turned it on. The 2 shower heads in the shower are nice, but it would be better if you could adjust them separately or turn one off. It's hard to wash when you can't angle them away to get soapy. And the pillows were super uncomfortable.
