Room was very comfortable, nice furnishings, extremely clean, very modern and efficient wiring; and ours was very very quiet- wonderful. The location could not be better: easy access to buses, tube, and taxis, plus lots of good places to eat. Close to museums and parks and Harrods, if that's your thing. Breakfast is not cheap, but there are many a la carte choices, and they are very tasty; plus you can ask to modify any order. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Wonderful stay. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Unique, well presented hotel in a prime location close to the Albert Hall (as we had come from the Proms) & Museums; V&A, Natural History & Science a 5min walk away. Room was bright & well equipped with all we could need for our stay. Bed was very comfortable too. They even gave us a quiet room with bedding & shower only as we had requested at booking. Staff were excellent & offer and high quality service throughout the hotel. Breakfasts options were varied & food was delicious & of a high standard.

The room was smaller than we expected for a superior double. Tea/ Coffee making facilities in wardrobe needs a rethink - we had to move the tray onto the table as we needed the wardrobe space. 13% service charge on breakfast - bit cheeky!

This was a fairly small room, though not as small as some places we've been, and exactly as advertised. What stands out aside from that, however, is that this is probably the nicest hotel room that we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I could find zero to complain about or wish were better: everything top-shelf, from the linens, to room fixtures, decoration, functionality (heating/air), etc. Bathroom had everything we needed. Everything in perfect shape. Exceptionally helpful staff. Just all splendid for our stay.

Literally nothing. This would be our first choice when returning to London. We were in London twice this vacation, and wish we could have just come back here on our second leg.

Location is perfect just next to the South Kensington station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area but still a residential area. Good farmers market on Saturday in Butestreet. Walking distance to the V and A museum and Harrods. The room is small but nicely decorated and the bed is most comfortable. Beforehand you can choose from a few options concerning pillows (also memory foam) and blankets. Very thoughtful and guarantees a good nights sleep. Softdrinks, water, coffee/tea and snacks (popcorn, cookies) are complementary. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi stable and fast.

Room did not include breakfast but there are a lot of good options in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything I needed. They even upgraded my room to one with a king-sized bed. The location is perfect, situated in a charming neighborhood with easy access to everything. It’s less than a minute from the tube station (though be mindful of heavy luggage, as the station doesn’t have a lift or escalator). I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and great location!

Reception staff were very welcoming, meeting us at the door and carrying our luggage. The room was very comfortable and warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom. Reading lights were of a very good quality. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The decor is very tastefully done. There are very interesting books in the bedroom and in the library. We did not get to use the tea room but it looked really tempting....Next time hopefully! The hotel is a very good area and is beside South Kensington underground station. We would definitely stay again

We were given an (unsolicited) room upgrade on arrival and that buys a lot of love from guests. Complimentary mini bar is a great gesture too and really helpful for a small cost Staff was super helpful arranging an airport transfer very early.

There is a kids school playground around the corner so if you want to sleep late check if your room faces that side. Kids can be noisy in the morning.

Great location in central London near some attractions like V&A Museum; close to neighboring areas like Chelsea and Knightsbridge; and very close to underground & bus stops. There was also a small but capable gym that was clean and had enough equipment to get by.

My room was relatively small and difficult to store luggage in the tight space with next to no wardrobe space. Additionally, right outside my room was the storage cupboards for linen and towels, so I was often woken up by the cleaning staff accessing them in the early hours

Housekeeping service was great! Staff made effort to even fold our clothes and kept everything neatly in place even as we did not expect them to. In a peaceful yet very accessible neighbourhood of South Kensington. 3 underground lines less than 2 min walk away. Food options just in vicinity (literally across the roads). Close distance to park and museums which made our stay so varied with activities.

We could hear steps and door closing along the corridors but that probably could be expected of older buildings.

The location of the hotel is great! It is located within a 1-minute walk to South Kensington Tube Station. There is a 24-hour convenience store, coffee, cafes, bakeries, pubs, delis, restaurants, dry cleaners, taxi stand, luggage store, and bank all located within a few feet to 1 block of the hotel. The Drawing Room located inside the hotel is the most charming and relaxing place to enjoy tea service. The customer service I received was courteous and quick.

If you or a loved one has mobility issues, be aware there are about 8-10 steps to enter the hotel. No handicapped entrance ramp. If your loved one can't do steps well, make sure to ask for a walk-in shower room because the bathtub showers are BEAUTIFUL but they require a step-up and in, as well as out of the shower tub.
