The place is very quiet and extremely clean.,We stayed in a chalet for 1 night en we enjoyed every minute of it. Very private and peaceful, excellent mattress, great outside seating area. The setting in a beautiful garden filled with birds. We stayed here at the end of the Panorama route, but I think it can be a convenient stopover between Johannesburg airport and Kruger. Holger is a wonderful host. Also, don’t miss the excellent breakfast with cheese, cold cuts, eggs as you like and even homemade bread. Highly recommended.

The location, the peace and quiet atmosphere. Away from the buzz of the city. This is a very tranquil setting. The singing birds are a cherry on top. The room was very clean. Same goes for the bathroom and kitchenette. All well thought of. Nice outdoor sitting area with swimming pool and braai/BBQ. The garden is just lovely. The breakfast was perfect and fresh every time. All this at very affordable rate per night. Breakfast was separate but worth it. And Holger is the ultimate host. He cares about his guests and their comfort. Ensuring your needs are well catered for. He really goes the extra mile. Such a wonderful soul he is. This is a place definitely worth coming back to. Very highly recommended.

There's nothing not to like really. The place is just perfect.

I personally found him to be an patient owner, one who just doesn’t want money for sake of business but truly cares about how his guests are, keep it up & for that my family & I really enjoyed!

Firstly, the place is super quiet, you can literally hear your own thoughts - that's a major plus for me. Secondly, the fact that there is so much greenery and a pool makes it even more pleasurable. I actually lost myself in a maze of amazement LOL. Finally, the host is super kind and willing to go the extra mile and for me, that's better than the actual stay - I appreciate genuine people

The rooms were quite open and comfortable for both myself and my friends. The compound was big enough for morning walks.

We wished that we had a moveable braai stand because we couldn't braai when it was raining.

There was nothing not to like. You are surrounded by lush greenery, swimming pool (to take a refreshing dip after safari), room or cottages both in traditional and more modern styles, BBQ facilities, and the owner willing to go an extra step to make your stay comfortable.

Beautiful views. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very accommodating with the fact that I had to leave very early in the morning. I just wish that I'd factored in more time to appreciate the place and facilities. Will definitely be back.

Nothing...everything was good

This is an exceptional lodge tended with great care by the owner who personally looks after the guests and is always happy to share his knowledge of the area. The pool is especially lovely and is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. Wonderfully tranquil.

Well managed, clean, quiet, bright room, good wifi, lovely swimming pool, nice garden. Also immune to "load-shedding" (due to batteries). Originally I came to spend just a night before going to Kruger, but returned afterwards just to hang out a few days more.
