Estudio Alicante or the Riscal Building is the tallest building in Alicante and can be seen from all over the city. It is a famous landmark. The hotel itself is functional and our room in the second floor was just recently renovated. Room facilities are basic but good enough. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom is clean and large although it needs more hooks to hang clothes and place for toiletries. There is a Chinese restaurant connected to Estudiotel and serves reasonable priced food. This hotel is walking distance from the Alacant Terminal and the Luceros Metro is very nearby. Overall a value for money for the convenience and convenient location.

Insufficient clothes hanger in the closet. There were only 4 hangers. Ceramic tile floor is cold during winter. No beverage making facilities in the room. None are deal breakers for us but would make longer stays more comfortable.

The excellent location ,it was easy to access to city center, go for a walk, not so far from the beach. Staff was speaking good English, but the parking was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. 9/10 overall

The breakfast was poor, barely and choice, few slices of ham and salamis but overall poor. I'd recommend still, easy to go out and get yourself breakfast instead of the included free one

The hotel is in the top location - very close to everything in the city center. Our room was very spacious, clean, snow white sheets. AC was perfectly working.

- Bathroom lacks basic stuff like mirror shelf, clothes hangers - I highly do not recommend booking a room with a street view - the noise from the street is really unbearable as there is a trade center and unloading trucks early in the morning - WiFi is soooo unstable - it breaks down every minute, no service at all, so if you need to work remotely from time to time as I had to, you will not be able to do it all

The location is excellent, the hotel is in the city center, so there is no need to use public transport if you do not mind a few minutes of walking. It is close to the Placa de Los Luceros (stop for bus to airport and tram to coast) and just next to the shopping centre El Corte Inglés, 10 min walking distance to the train station, 10-15 min to the port and 15-20 min to the closest beach. The room was really clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was delicious with plenty (local food) options to choose from.

Sometimes some of the 4 elevators did not work. The bed was rather unsteady and could be easily moved in case of sudden movements. No kettle or fridge in the room. The window opens towards the opposite building, from which the noise from the lorries servicing El Corte Inglés and garbage trucks echoed. No real options to open the window to let fresh air in because it was often rather smelly outside (but thankfully there is air conditioning). The decor to the lobby and public spaces is dated and heavily marbled, so the first impression might be underwhelming, fortunately, it is not a problem really :)

Great Location, bang slap in the centre of the town. Easy walk from the station and shuttle airport bus, stroll to the beach, restaurants and old town. Super clean, generous room simply furnished and large bathroom that had an excellent shower. We had a balcony but overlooking back of El Corte and can be noisy at times from their machinery. Handy mini launderette which we used as we remained in Spain longer than expected.

The decor to the public spaces is dated, heavy marbled but unattractive. Not a hotel to go to go if you want to impress but on all other things, the hotel is great. I''d defiantly book this one again.

Close proximity to everything, beach, tram stop, train station, shops, restaurants etc. I extended my stay here so I had 2 different rooms the first was a studio with a kitchen that had quite dated decor but was excellent because I had a fridge etc. the second room was newly decorated so was more comfortable but didn’t have a fridge which would have been excellent with such hot weather. I would definitely stay here again as it’s excellent value for money and the rooms are very clean and large. Also the showers are excellent.

I would have liked a fridge in my second room.

Great rooms with amazing air conditioning which was a boost given the heat wave - lovely to stay somewhere that doesnt have air con thats turns off when you either open the window/door. Comfy beds, powerful shower....great value for money. Super helpful staff.

Shame the lobby couldn't be spruced up but appreciate with so much marble thats not easy....didnt affect our stay as rooms bright and cheerful...

The hotel was very central to shops, restaurants and not too far to walk to the marina and beach. We arrived late and were given a great room which was spacious, clean and had a balcony on the 2nd floor, unfortunately the noise from lorries and cars was too much and after very little sleep we asked to move the following morning. This was no problem and we were given another great room on the 5th floor which was much quieter. Would certainly stay here again

once we were moved to a higher floor the noise from late night traffic was resolved.

The position was perfect, right next to one of the main ramblas streets, and the building is so high that wherever you are in the city centre you always see it if you look up, so never have to use maps to find direction. The room was very spacious, nice bathroom and we also had a balcony. The breakfast service was also good, the room never too crowded. We appreciated the possibility to leave the luggage there after checking out. Staff members were also friendly and helpful.

The only thing we didn't like was the door, which was a bit awkward to open.

Location good for the harbour, sea promenade, many restaurants( we were there Sunday and Monday-be aware that many restaurants close early on Sunday and do not open at all on Monday), etc. We could leave our luggage when vacating the rooms for our last few hours before leaving Alicante. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and always good when English is spoken( our Spanish not that great)

There was no safe in the room as indicated in the booking. The hotel did offer for us to change rooms or a maintenance guy to fix the following day. Having unpacked did not wish to change. A fridge in the room would have been nice for cold water and other items.
