It's my 2nd time at this hotel, 1st time as a couple and 2nd time as a family,: The front staff are very welcoming, and ready to help.The hotel has a lift and the rooms are air conditioned,, it has a big wardrobe, a safe and very clean, the room attendants will always ask if you need something in your room and they will clean it as of the first day when you checked in. The hotel is very close to the restaurants, pubs and open spaces. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. A supermarket and a laundry is a 3 minutes walk away. Highly recommend and I already book another holiday next year in the same hotel.

I liked my stay in San Remo. The hotel met my expectations. It's great because of the location, my room was very small but very clean too. There were clean towels and shower fluid. The hotel reception is open 24/7, speaks English and is very helpful if you need anything. The ladies especially were very friendly and smiling both at night and during the day. The hotel was very quiet so I could sleep well.

The only thing that bothered me was the lack of an iron in the entire hotel (I had to ask friends from another hotel to iron my shirts). Also there is no hairdryer in the room, you have to go to the reception every time, but it was not as annoying as the lack of an iron in the entire hotel. I can't see more rooms for improvements.

The San Remo Hotel was in a great, safe location with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. It's around 10 minutes' walk from the Mercado tram stop. The old town is minutes away, as is the promenade. A very clean and functional hotel. Small reception area and a lift to the floors. The stairs are narrow, and you may struggle with luggage. The staff were really friendly and helped me book an airport taxi. The room was compact and well equipped. It has a desktop area, chair and flat screen TV. The WiFi was very good. The bathroom was quite small but had everything. Overall, it was a great value hotel, and I'd certainly rebook.

It didn't have a kettle, which for a Brit is a must 😅

good location 10min walk to front 15min walk to beach if you turn left from hotel to main road and then right not as we were told by the receptionist who told us to go straight to the front then turn left took 30min. some building work is going on at the sea front but can't be heard from your room. however on our third night we were kept awake till 0300 by loud music not sure were it was coming from a pub or bar near by .ses

see above plus air con wasn't the best took a long time to cool room and there was a smell after you flushed the toilet didn't last for long but smelled like rotten eggs .eating out was very poor as well the food was poor and service slow in Alicante

Nice location, nice clean and bright rooms, nice amount of natural light, a balcony which was wonderful, and friendly staff, good wifi - it was all good really, and still is.

I have no criticism of this hotel at all, but Spain, please - someone needs to tell you what a tea bag is! Us Brits have panic attacks if we can't find a tea bag, and the notion of not having tea bags and kettles in a hotel room is a little bit like not having oxygen at the hospital for us. What do you want us to do? Do a chicken dance and jump off the balcony? I had a delerium psychosis over not having a cup of tea for so long, and I nearly called the British embassy for emergency assistance. Beam me up Tetley. Also recycling seems non existent in Spain but this is about Spain, not the San Remo hotel, which was great.

No frills, but the essentials are all there. Bright, cheery, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, big enough room, surprisingly quiet for being on a city-centre corner. For the money I don't think one can do better than the San Remo. Easily walk-able from the train and/or bus stations (bus to/from airport stops at bus station and train station). The walk is 15 minutes from either, and is just long enough to unwind after a journey, much of it in shady streets. Around the corner from a huge choice of cafes, restaurants, tapas bars, gelaterias, etc. Only problem is deciding which to choose. I chose several.

There is nothing to not like. Something one needs to be aware of is that it is on a corner close to a popular eating area. It is not a busy corner, and the streets are quite small here, but there is some traffic and some chatter drifting up from the eateries, but it all goes to sleep early enough to not be a bother.

The location of the hotel is amazing, we also got the room with a balcony which we really enjoyed. Rooms were cleaned and cleaners did their job every day really well.

The staff in the reception could be more communicative as they just said a few words like hello and goodbye during all our stay. However, answered all our questions we had. One more thing that in the room was no hairdryer.

I choose San Remo as I was travelling solo and wanted to be in a central location for my stay in Alicante. It was great in terms of access to museums etc plus the beach and I felt safe going for a walk at night as quite a few people out eating etc. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room (en suite) was fine for 2 nights and suited my budget. A kettle would have been nice but no biggie. I'd definitely return.

It was a clean and tidy room, the staff's hospitality was great, everyone speaks English. It was very clean since the cleaning service was cleaning our room every day. The location of the hotel is perfect near the restaurant and bar area. I would warmly recommend this stay.

The women at the reception was very friendly. The hotel is in a good location and the beach is only 15 minutes to walk. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would book again

The internet was pretty poor In the bathroom were not enough storage possibilities plus no towel rack for the hand towels. Curtains weren't big enough to block the lights completely
