Hotel Rambla Alicante Contactless

When I write a review I aim to be realistic about expectations and deal with the facts. This accommodation is on the 5th floor (with elevator) Excellent convenient spot. Minutes from C6 airport bus stop e3.85 one way, beach, historic centre, shops, bar/restaurants. Nice walk to all free museums, mercado market and Santa Cruz old picturesque village, near the castle. My rooms were spacious, clean modern design. Like a simple studio. Good free WiFi and facilities - A/C, Kettle, H/dryer, M/fridge. Shampoo/Gel/Soap bar. I have stayed in both types of rooms, the interior room which was very quiet and in the city views one, which I prefer as I like to experience the liveliness of the city, but still quiet. I found the staff and communication very good and any queries and questions resolved within a reasonable amount of time.

Location, location, location. And also it was really convenient to go contactless. It's much easier upon arrival and on the day of checking out. Just close the door and go! No time-consuming never-ending conversations or double charging or counting what and how much you have taken from the mini bar...I did not realize that there would be no one to greet us late at night, but all instructions were sent before we arrived, and all worked perfectly! High standard customer service. I sent some questions and got an answer immediately. Parking is sorted out nicely - if you park for more than 10 hours there is an agreement with the local car park and you pay less. About the breakfast - I would recommend booking a room without it as the same recommended coffee house serves a good choice of different food and for a good price. We had breakfast t for 8 euros - 2 coffees, orange juice, 2 toast with tomato and cheese! Excellent! Thank you! Definitely will consider the place for the next short weekend.

This hotel is super. You should not miss it if you visit Alicante. I will go back surely. The location is so central that I was going for dinner, going back just for washing my teeth and out again. The staff is super: Nicole and her colleagues really take care of you and your needs: they gave me a super quiet room on the 5th floor, additional blankets, a lot of information, booked a taxi. The room is spacious with all what you need. The air conditioning is very good. Do not miss this hotel!

Stayed there with a college of mine during a work trip. The rooms were good. Staff was polite. Location was great. As a tip, when first going to the place pay attention that two hotels share the same building and lobby and it might be somewhat confusing.

The windows didn't have mosquito nets. The wifi was poor for some time and just gone for a couple of days. The cost was a bit high in my opinion, but comparable to everything else in the area.

The room was amazing, completely Bluetooth compatible. I could connect to the mirror and play music, the Japanese toilet was also a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable with the nicest pillows in all of Spain. Most hi tech room I've ever stayed in, truly deserves a higher star rating. The staff were great people, always smiling and very helpful. I dealt with Nicole at reception and she was very pleasant, very friendly, and so helpful. Would definitely return, and recommend to a friend. 10/10

The locks for the door are opened with an app on your phone via bluetooth. I would of liked a key to open the door too, just for insurance in the event I lost my phone.

The facilities are good and new. It was clean and well organized.. Well asisted staff though it is through mobile communication.. I enjoyed our stay since it is very accessible to anywhere around the city.

Maybe you should retire those old towels for a new one.. Well for me its okay as long as ut is clean not a problem with me at all..

Room was very comfortable. Aircon was brilliant. Location was perfect, close to tram , bars and nightlife. Would definitely return.

Only negative was no tea or coffee in the room. If we had known this we could have brought our own.

Nice hotel with a very convenient location! Within walking distance of the beach, promenade, attractions. The room was not big, but clean and comfortable. I was confused by the lack of windows in the corridors and the small window in the room. Other than that everything was great. Responsive and attentive staff.

The location is excellent as it's located on the main city centre street and is only literally a 5 minute walk to the beach too. The room was super technologically advanced. I have never stayed in a room anywhere like that before even having stayed in 5* hotels in Singapore in the past too. The room was immaculately clean and the facilities were so futuristic. The toilet has a digital screen and comes with it's own remote control with features such as heated toilet seat, massage and about 16 different types on buttons for different things. The shower is incredible and even the mirror in the bathroom has bluetooth and a radion built into it with a digital display showing the time and temperature. Instead of a TV there is a Harmon Kardon projector with a digital TV set top box which projects straight onto a beautiful white wall. There is also a mini bar stocked with beer, water and various soft drinks. Even the door access is all digital. The room also has air conditioning too.

The whole contactless check-in process was a nightmare for me from start to finish. It seemed to be a rather taxing process having to wait for e-mails and then having to download an app and register your details just so you are able to obtain the code to access the room. My only saving grace was the maintenance man thankfully turned up to meet me and was extremely patient and helpful as I wasn't having the best of days so I salute him for maintaining his cool with me and remaining professional.

The level of facilities was much higher than 4 star hotels we have stayed in. Japanese toilet was great as was the Bluetooth mirror. Complementary water and cookie plus tea and coffee together with a kettle which you nearly never find in a Spanish hotel. There were plenty of sockets to plug things in, again not usually the case. Great value for money.
