noise from the bedrooms on the front during the night if window open. Ask for a quiet room which looks onto internal courtyard (no view though but if you sleep with a window open it’s necessary)

Location is excellent - two minutes from the beach, a street behind the main promenade, and close to the city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by and round the corner from the town square. It was also an easy walk to the start of the trail to walk up to the castle, or the lift if you don’t fancy the climb. The staff all spoke perfect English and were friendly and helpful. With our booking we got a free taxi ride to the hotel, the driver was waiting for us in the airport, and the journey took about 15/20mins.

The frosted glass bathroom windows and doors were fine for us as a couple, but might be a little uncomfortable it you were sharing with a friend. We didn’t try the breakfast, as we preferred to get something when we were out or pick up snacks to eat in the room (it was very hot when we were there).

A solid wall separating the room from the bathroom would have been preferable to the glass panels in place. Information about the local sports event over the weekend would have been extremely helpful as the street outside the hotel was closed off for all traffic on the morning of departure. This meant that it was not possible to get a taxi from the hotel to the airport, as we had planned. This in turn caused a considerable amount of stress and hassle that could easily have been avoided.

The lobby area looks very smart, lovely design. The room I had was quite spacious, the bed big, many pillows which is always nice. The bathroom was nice, big shower, appreciate the option to close the door when possible. Plenty of closet space, if you are using it, and I liked the bench at the foot of the bed very much. The hotel is at a great location, steps away from the esplanade, minutes from the beach. The stuff was very polite and accommodating - special thanks to the reception ladies who helped with earlier check-in (those early morning flights have their drawbacks) and late check out :)

My room was on the first floor, and when the balcony doors were open the noise from the street was pretty excessive. However, with closed windows I could hardly hear it. If you like open windows in the summer, perhaps noise will be an issue. The bed was not the most comfortable I have slept in, but was still good.

The location was absolutely great - central and easy to reach from a bus stop connecting the center of the city with the airport. Friendly staff, really kind and helpful. Comfortable bed.

There was some noise from the street late in the evening, but we managed to sleep just fine. Also the doors to the bathroom (at least in the 4th floor room we got) are almost transparent, which leaves little to the imagination and is best suited mainly for couples who cannot get enough of each other. Any other couple of travelers staying there might feel as if their privacy has been invaded. Not sure if all the rooms are like that.

this is a hidden gem! everything about this place exceeded our expectations. we stayed at 4 different hotels while visiting Spain and Serawa is by far the best stay we had! from the employees here- front desk, coffee shop, cleaning ladies everyone was exceptional. the customer service was superb! Veronica is such a wonderful host! the bed super comfortable, the room absolutely beautiful and clean. the location you can not beat. you r close to all the shops/ restaurants and even the beach. when we visit again, we will choose Serawa!

It's a chic and lovely hotel, within walking distance from all major attractions and the beach. It's suitable for a short stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. The neighbourhood is enjoyable and vibrant.

The room was small - there was not enough space to open two suitcases, while the bathroom was huge, but not practical. But we only spent two nights, so it was not such a big issue. As we also went to the beach, there was no place to hang our towels and swimsuits to dry. Also, except for the bedside tables, there was no desk or table, but that's understandable given the size of the room.

The breakfast that is included in the price, there are not a lot of options/variaties available. For a longer stay you might get bored with the menu.
