Stunning property and very centrally located . I was worried as I’m a light sleeper but asked for a quiet room and slept very well . Roof terrace was fabulous . Hotel smelt beautiful and was decorated very tastefully . Great sized room . Free soft drinks in the mini fridge and La’ Occitane products were a nice touch . Breakfast in the adjoining and beautiful cafe was also wonderful .

Can’t say there was anything to really dislike . I would say as a couple that our preference would be for a proper double bed rather than two singles pushed together . Couple of touches could be added like hooks for wet towels ( there was none ) and waste basket in the room but only minor things . Will definitely return

The location is just perfect in an amazing building. Staff are nice I would suggest not to say the room number outloud and just to point it out and mention the floor. Great amenities in the room specially the dressing gown. I would recommed it to a friend as a different and original hotel to stay.

Walls are too thin and it can be hard to sleep specially if the guest next door is snoring too loud. I checked about getting another room but I was explained in a kind way by the night receptionist (Pedro if I am not wrong) that it was not possible. I missed having a kettle or an instant coffee machine although the water plus pop drinks in the mini bar are included and that's a bonus.

The hotel is beautiful inside and has been converted wonderfully. It was like a step back in time when you enter the lobby, i imagined a scene from three musketeers sword fighting up the stone staircase! The hotel is in a wonderful location close to bars and restaurants, the main promenade and the beach. It was a lovely break for my wife and I and we would definitely return.

This little hotel is in the perfect location, right in the middle of the old part of Alicante. The staff were absolutely charming, and so was the owner, who we met by chance the next day, outside the hotel. It is also in the perfect position for visiting the Fine Arts Museum 🎨 😊 For us the big advantage is that they park your car for you, and bring it back to you when you need it. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful and elegance XVII century palace very well updated that makes you feel like living in past centuries. Patricia, Alejandro, Yanina, all staff provide personalized and professional attention, showing positive attitude at all time. They all have extensive knowledge of the city and the history of the building itself. Excellent breakfast served as restaurant style in a beautiful place. Location is perfect, walking distance to all point of interest to visit in Alicante. The rooftop area is a good place to relax, very well decorated and comfortable.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything is perfect.

The location is amazing so close to the beach and all shops and restaurants. All the staff are all great so friendly and helpful a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast is great too and having it on the roof terrace is so beautiful. The rooms are quiet, I could hear some noise in the corridor but only for a second and was never awoken by people in other rooms. Gorgeous hotel we can’t wait to come back.

The only thing and it’s very small is we wish the pillows were a little firmer, the bed itself was super comfy. We didn’t ask about other pillow options so they maybe have something else for you to try but we managed fine until the last day when my partners neck was slightly sore but like I said we didn’t ask for replacements so that’s on us!

Greeted by a very warm and smiling welcome. I was a little early for check in but the receptionist called housekeeping and requested they change schedule and get my room ready. They treated me to a beer while I waited a very short while. Then I was shown to my room and my bags carried for me. A lovely old fashioned touch. A stunning conversion from an old palace to a spacious and comfortable hotel. Perfect bed and shower. Very large room. Very close to the beachfront yet in a quiet corner of the old town. I will definitely return. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful.

A shame that on the sun trap of a roof terrace that the furniture (especially the sun loungers) are so old and uncomfortable… but very uncomfortable. New and comfortable loungers would make this my perfect hotel.

We loved everything about this place, starting with location, the historical building, the overall amenities and the people at the reception. very close to the beach, airport shuttle, shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, we had lots of pillows, a small fridge enough for our needs and overall very clean. It’s the first place that we stayed at in our vacation that not only provides free beverages in the fridge, but supplies the stock everyday. Also, appreciating the L’Occitanne toiletries.

Not big deals, but would have given 10/10 if we had accessories to place toiletries (soap, shower gel etc.) onto at the sink and in the shower. Would have also loved having the place swept when having the periodical cleaning service in the room. No other comments for the cleaning part tho :)

Fantastic renovation of a former regious building. Perfect location for exploring this vibrant city. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast which we had up on the roof terrace was the perfect way to start the day. The bed was very comfortable and I would not hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Alicante.
