Hotel Servigroup Diplomatic

Have stayed here before, at Christmas 2021. Everything then was excellent it was my birthday whilst we were there and I was presented with a lively bottle of Cava which was much appreciated.

We booked bed and breakfast but unfortunately only had breakfast twice, because both times all the food was only lukewarm, definitely not served hot. I was alarmed as there were meat products, such as bacon and sausage etc which I won't eat when they have been kept in a warming tray for too long. The scrambled eggs, beans and mushrooms were all cold too. We tried a second morning, but still the same. So we ended up going out for breakfast every day after that. I would have given full marks, as we love staying here, but the breakfast was a big letdown.

The staff were excellent. The food was very varied and well prepared and presented.

The dining room was very noisy, lots of plates being banged about and it felt like it was a canteen to just feed people quickly and move them on. There was no information on view in the reception for any places to visit, excursions to go on, or activities in the hotel.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. The food was buffet style and the wearing of masks was compulsory everywhere except when seated. The Diplomatic is our hotel of choice evey time we stay in benidorm. It is situated in between the old and new town with plenty of shops to browse in.

The entertainment was geared towards the Spanish who when we were there were the majority of People in the hotel. It was mainly singers and keyboard players but was OK. It lasted from 9.30 to 12.30 and if you had a balcony room overlooking the pools it was quite loud.

Breakfast good, lots of choice, staff excellent very helpful, location good, xmas gala lunch very good, staff worked very hard, some of the service a little slow but understandable as it was table service

Very little that could have been improved, getting the car to the car park quite stressful, map was not very easy to follow, room occasionally too warm, but on the whole, did not have any complaints.

The staff were very welcoming. Lobby area inviting. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was very nice. The breakfast was really nice, good variety. Hotel was in a good location. We could walk everywhere.

Everything. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool and it was lovely to sit there when it got a bit cool in the evening. The food was excellent with a good choice for all tastes. The buffet was just like a normal hotel buffet except the wearing of masks and plastic gloves were essential and not an option. The staff were always helpful and polite and the hotel public areas were elegant and comfortable with greenery and waterfalls behind glass walls. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from the beach and promenade where there are many cafes and shops available. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who visits benidorm even if it's just an overnight stay. It's not the cheapest but for my husband and I it is the best hotel in benidorm.

The bed was a little hard but I have arthritis in my hips anyway so to anyone else they would probably be OK.

We were relocated after the Bristol cancelled our long-standing booking the day before we were due to arrive. Booking.com suggested this alternative. On arrival, Sofi on reception was very helpful. The box at the top of the booking form from you has a box that says: check-in 24 DECEMBER Thursday from 1600 This is misleading as it implies that we cannot book in until 1600hours. This is the cut-off time before they may offer my booking to someone else. Otherwise, everything was fine. We have stayed here before and liked it.

Nothing really. We have been here before. The view could have been better, looking at the back of the next hotel but I know not all rooms can have a sea or mountain view.

The breakfast was excellent The chicken kebabs were disgusting full of gricle and fat The paella on Sunday was very good

The moist neighbours and water feature running till late

The hotel was in a perfect location staff were all helpful and friendly pools were amazing and the food was also amazing

Fantastic hotel immaculate fantastic friendly polite staff food was delicious fantastic choice I would highly recommend looking forward to returning
