Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote

Location to beach, nice beach nice external shops. Food was good and varied enough to not get bored. Many sea food options, plenty onsite activities to stop kids getting bored, mini golf, pool (although tables kept breaking down), tennis and football, table tennis. Nice spacious modern rooms, plenty of privacy around the pool and facilities. 2 big pools and plenty of sun beds even though at busy periods ppl done the usual early morning bed claiming but that's not the hotels fault and their were plenty. Especially as folk started to leave the premises. Thoroughly enjoyed and great value.

Que's could be long for dinner and breakfast. Mainly because people were waiting for fresh eggs or pancakes to be cooked. For people that didn't want either your stuck waiting. This could be avoided if staff managed the que by asking who was waiting for these foods and qued them separately allowing others to move ahead.

Los Zocos is a large hotel. But at the same time does not feel large. Quiet. There are two large pool areas one quiet and one with entertainment/music. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of food, eggs, fruits. We did not have half/full board so can´t comment on that Apartment was clean, beds ok and a fairly well equipped small kitchen. The location is perfect. Very good bus connections til Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen and the sunday market i Teguise. Many good restaurants around. We went to Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca and would have chosen Costa teguise again

Staff constantly busy and rushed but their friendliness and professional attitude shone through. Always willing to help and with a smile. Good variety of food at breakfast and dinner. Enough choices to give you a variety of meals throughout the stay.

Absolutely loved everything about this place - never done an AI but joined my daughter/baby/9 year old grandson/son in law for a few days break. Everything was beautiful, the bedding/cleanliness of the rooms were 2nd to none, the general cleanliness and tidying was absolutely constant around the site, credit to every single member of staff on this aspect! Ok, so it was a breakfast/lunch buffet type arrangement which is more than adequate during the day with little ones, I thought the quality and choice absolutely lovely; something for every age group here, nice healthy food as well, which can be a bit of a struggle during the day. We didn't eat on site during the evenings; being so near to all the lovely eateries and beachfront cafes, it would have been a shame, plus a change of scenery is nice. The entertainment for the children was non stop and my grandson thoroughly enjoyed it. I just could not find anything negative at all and hope my daughter invites me back again when they return in May!!

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the food was fabulous with a great choice every day and the entertainment especially for kids was really good. the complex was exceptionally clean throughout and staff were so friendly. lots of activities daily for kids and adults alike and both the pool and the football pitch were big favourites with our family.

a couple of small things that could be improved the evening shows were held inside and would be much better if they were held outside as sometimes it got a bit stuffy and warm especially when there were large crowds in the room. Also similar to other AI resorts we’ve stayed in perhaps to have a small snack area available during the evening especially during or after the nightly shows.

The staff are fabulous, from reception to dining room to housekeeping. A special mention for Matthew in reception, Enrico the lifeguard and Isis in the dining room. They stood out as AMAZING and a credit to their employers. We were half board, the buffets were always fresh and tasty. I loved the fact that staff constantly reminded guests to fix their masks and to sanitise their hands on entry to the dining room. It made me and my family feel safe at all times. The facilities are great, the swimming pools are well maintained as are the gardens. We loved the crazy golf too.

My only slight negative was the pool water temperature, it was freezing, I would have thought they would be heated at this time of year. We still swam every day and loved the lanes for swimming actual lengths.

Room is a good size for family of five we had a two bedroom apartment. resort and room are very clean and maid came everyday. we weren’t all inclusive so didn’t try the food/drinks. Pools are clean and great idea to have a quiet pool and a separate animation pool so families don’t have to worry as much that noisy kids would be annoying those without families. Excellent that kids club took the kids to the aquarium one afternoon. Small supermarket beside hotel has most items needed for self catering but larger supermarkets are also close by for slightly better value.

It’s a little further away from the main restaurant area of costa Teguise but a manageable short walk.

The highlight for us was the children’s entertainment. Especially Andrea in mini club. She was incredible with my 2 daughters and made their holiday so special with her care and enthusiasm!

At meal times, the cups and bowls needed replenishing quicker and the toasters at breakfast needed updating.

Great choice of food and drinks. Good facility for kids. Comfortable and clean rooms.

Main pool not opening until 11.00 is too late compared to other hotels.

Good food, friendly staff, very Covid conscious and the kids really enjoyed the swimming pools. 4 Star quality I would say. Food was good, lots of choice including hot, cold and lots of desserts. There is a fresh juice machine on the left in the canteen for breakfast, only discovered this in the middle of our stay. The beach which was a 5 -10 walk away which was fine and the beach was really lovely! Great cocktails at the nearby square and bars. Overall for good value this hotel is definitely worth a visit. We would go again.

We really struggled with the heat in the bedrooms at night, if the AC was stronger this issue would have been resolved. The children's sofa beds in the lounge could definitely have been better. Cocktails at the hotel could have been better, good wine and Sangria though. As with most destinations these days, sunbeds are taken by towels pretty early. I've experienced hotels where they remove towels if someone has left their towel on a sunbed for a long duration, would be great to do that here.
