Hospedium Hotel Posada de la Silleria

A well appointed hotel in an excellent location for sightseeing. Our accommodation (on the third floor at the top of the building) had double glazed windows in both the bedroom and the bathroom that could be partially or fully opened. The bedroom windows had blackout curtains The bedroom was surprisingly quiet and always pleasantly cool (with outside temperature of about thirty degrees). Underfloor temperature control is used instead of air conditioning. The bed was large and comfortable. USB charging sockets were provided at either side of the bed. Breakfast included fruit, fresh orange juice and excellent coffee. In addition to a bar and restaurant, there is a small internal courtyard space reserved for use by guests of the hotel. The hotel has a good restuarant. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Our accomodation was very clean and well maintained. Check-in and checkout was fast and efficient. The hotel is a very short walk of less than five minutes from a large multistory car park equipped with a lift and elevator to street level. The hotel will provide a discount on the parking cost. Driving to the door of the hotel, if you need to, requires patience as the way to the hotel is via narrow and pedestrianised streets.

No negative experience at this hotel.

Great location for visiting the old town. Public carpark quite close, although not cheap the hotel has a special rate.

The Deluxe King Suite is large and comfortable but very noise as it is located above the bar and coffee shop, which is open from around 8am till 11pm. So the coffee machine in the bar starts around 8 or earlier to make coffees. Include staff clearing up after 11pm and it means it's not a comfortable place to relax for a few hours during the day when you are tired of walking. Toledo is a very hilly town. Any other room should be fine.

Efficient and friendly staff; attractive, if compact, room, smartly incorporating some historic features from the old building from which the hotel has been very recently converted; excellent breakfast, with the largest croissants we've ever seen.

Arrangements for parking a little complicated: helpful videos provided on how to drive via the hotel to the municipal multi-storey, but nothing on how to get there direct. More difficult than it need have been in claiming the €5 discount on the €21 overnight rate. The office there that we were instructed to use was not staffed (even on a weekday morning), so we had to phone the helpline to get advice - there is in fact a 'claim rebate' button on the ticket machine you can use, but not immediately obvious.

all was perfect; if possible, avoid trying to get there by car; just leave your car in aparcamiento Miradero, as suggested; the hotel is really close. Why add he stress of driving through those narrow streets… mostly for pedestrians or supplier vans. Hotel is close to plaza Zocodover, everything on a walking distance. The breakfast is taken in the backroom of a café/restaurant on the groundfloor, those who want can order omelettes etc. Our room was on the 2nd floor and comfortable. We would definitely recommend the place to anyone.

What a great hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was great, there's a parking garage close by, the room was nice and very clean. I also liked that climate control is done through the floors, which means no fan/airco noise.

The hotel offered a discount at the nearby parking lot, but they do this by stamping the ticket. You then have to take it to the little office in the parking, but they were nowhere to be found (+/- 11h45 at the time). We waited for 15 minutes and rang the bell several times, before giving up and paying in full at the machine.

The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk let us check in early, allowed us to store our luggage after checkout and gave us wonderful tips for visiting the city and especially for top notch restaurants that we wouldn’t have found on our own. I loved the spaciousness, having ample closet space and a good-sized modern bathroom with all the amenities we needed.

Beautiful refurbished hotel, someone has paid great attention to detail and some of the original items have been displayed or reused. The bedrooms however were modern and very cosy, the beds and the bedding luxurious, great shower and rituals bathroom products. parking was across the road , sat Nav took us straight there and was discounted by the hotel. The lady behind the bar went out of her way to make me some hot chocolate to take to bed after they ran out. Exceptional service, we will return 🥰

no mini bar ( although there is a fridge) and no tea or coffee in the rooms , water was supplied.

Great location, historic building beautifully renovated. Arriving by car was a bit stressful, the hotel is in the old part of the city with many narrow streets. However, once we found the hotel, the staff were very efficient in helping us with luggage and to locate the parking which was actually quite near.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, the breakfast buffet area is small and a bit cramped. Fruit and cereal selection were limited, no granola and very little variety of fruit. Something as basic as yoghurt was not available during our stay even though it was on the menu.

Location (once we found it) was excellent. The building had been restored well. Pablo , on reception was very helpful. An excellent breakfast .

Trying to find it! No accurate instructions sent to us about needing to ring the Hotel in order to access an otherwise blocked road (with retractable bollards). Drove round & round the narrow, one way streets searching for access in 40 degs! Room small.

the room was too hot and despite putting the heat down as low as I could it was still too hot. window will not stay open. The light to the bathroom can be switched on only from outside the room and the light shines into the eyes of the person still sleeping.
