Wow what an amazing place to stay so close to Ella. Made up of only 4 rooms (2 bungalows and 2 family rooms) you really get such a personal touch to service. We stayed in the bungalow in front of the pool and loved sitting out on the patio watching the birds go by. Kumari the amazing chef / front of house was always on hand for any help as well as the fantastic owner who was quick to take us into Ella during bad weather. The definite high was the cooking class which was really thoughtfully planned. Can’t recommend enough

As with other reviews the water pressure isn’t a downpour but definitely good enough to wash soap out of long hair and always hot. The bungalow was a generous size but can be slightly tight with big bags. Would recommend to add a shelf above the sink in the bathroom but not a necessity just would be an added bonus

Only around 15min walk to the restaurant area, and you’re surrounded by many wild animals 🙌🏼 a great spot for starting many tracks too. They have two little huts and three bigger family/group rooms that are equipped with everything you need, including a mosquito net and very well isolated walls. You have a small terrace with a great view to the mountains. The only sound you hear are birds and other animals singing! You can get amazing local breakfast and dinner made by Tarange, who will also take care of you whatever you need throughout the day. The host Rohan is also a very nice and professional owner, he took us afterwards by car to our next destination for a fair price. Will definitely come again!

When ever we travel through hill coumtry in srilanka, we use to go Ella and stay Wild Resort constantly because the location is wonderful and peaceful. Surrounded tea planted mounted range. Fresh air with soft wind and many songs of birds all the day long. Foods are excellent and staff are very friendly, trustworthy and dependable provided best service at all. This time we couldnt do any outside activity because my wife not in well. So I alone went to the town for an urgent need. The staff treet and cure my wife well while I was away. The place allways proof there responsibility , reliability , secure and hospitality at all. I specially thanks to the staff and best wishes from me and my wife to you all. Thanks you somuch for you all.....

Where to start! This property was amazing, the first and most notable was the staff there, who were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They really went above and beyond and even helped us with our Tuktuk problems! The place was beautiful, the view was amazing and the pool was a little paradise! Rooms were all clean and well kept. Would recommend this to anyone travelling. 2 mins drive to Ella and the staff offer lifts too. They cooked for us on the first night and always made sure we had a drink and were always smiling. Thank you all!

- Easy to find, great location - a nice distance out of Ella to be quiet and remote, and costs less than £1.50 in a Tuktuk to get to main parts - Lovely nature views and peaceful room and nice to have addition of the pool - Staff were so attentive and accomodated our awkward times for breakfast due to transfers, really tasty breakfast and teas too - We had AC our whole trip by the cost and were worried about not having it in Ella, so good to note it really is not needed in Ella at all, we actually turned the fan off in the evening as it was too cold. Ella is much cooler and 100% you do not need AC - Good wifi was useful to plan for next locations

My experience at Wild Resort in Ellla was fantastic. The hotel boasts excellent facilities that were well-maintained and comfortable throughout my stay. The room was spacious and clean, offering a relaxing environment after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Wild Resoet Ella and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka for its great amenities and hospitality.

The location is very peaceful, with the sounds of nature around. Breakfast is served each morning on the terrace which is nice. We were given lifts into town on their tuk tuk whenever we needed it. The team were really attentive and friendly.

The room did smell damp and there was a little mouldiness on the mattress. However, when I complained they swapped it for a new mattress, and the smell was gone. Some of the fixtures are a little worn, one of the mosquito nets fell down, but they fixed it and the toilet seat was broken. But we still really enjoyed our stay, the team were great are sorting anything we had issues with.

The property is beautiful! It has the most relaxing view of the forest. Set within a quiet and serene surrounding- wild resort is a great place to switch off and relax. 5-7 min drive from the main city area- it is lovely to come back to. The staff is very warm, welcoming and friendly. We had a very good time and will definitely go back .

The property is a bit small and so are the rooms and the pool. But that doesn’t take away from everything else which is amazing.

The location is the king in this property. All the rooms are mountain facing, one can hear the birds singing all day from the room. The rooms are just enough size with clean bedsheets and pillows. Bathroom is ok. Breakfast is a basic English breakfast ( bread egg fruits coffee). The hosts are really helpful. They also arrange a tuk tuk ride to the Ella town, as it's little away from the town not very far either.

The bathroom's water pressure is very less. Nothing else

The whole were very welcoming and helpful to any requests. Wild resort had its own tuk tuks that could bring you into central Ella. We extended the Little Adam’s peak walk to include the 9 Arches bridge and walk along railway tracks back to Ella station. We had a cooking lesson making pourris and other bits which was informative and fun- will try at home! The balcony has a great view of the monastery at the top of the hill.
