Our stay, here was wonderful! The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable! The view from our balcony was breathtaking! We enjoyed the restaurant for a delicious dinner by the water with wonderful service, just perfect! The next morning, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast buffet, again by the water, which was included in our stay. The hotel is a short cab ride away from the town and it was worth it for the serene, beautiful scenery that you get to enjoy here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful!!

The room was a little bit warm because there’s no air-conditioning and it was July. But it was still a wonderful stay.

The location was perfect for a relaxing few days. Close enough to Luzern (10 min drive). Parking on site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with plenty of options. Direct access to the lake for swimming.

The bed was not the most comfortable. Although there was direct access to the lake for swimming, the water on this area was full of “lake debris” and even duck poop, which gave it an unclean appearance. Also, one needed to swim around boats docked. It will be helpful if the staff could make the area look a little more tidy.

Location was beautiful, on the shore of Lake Lucerne, in Horw ( I think is a suburb of Lucerne), 3 regional train stops from Lucerne Main Train Station and a 15-20 min walk. I booked a room with lake view, and it did not disapoint. The room was spacios and clean, the beds were confortable but too soft for my taste, and the breakfast was good - it is nice to have your breakfast on a terrace next to the lake. Overall a nice stay, although it was a little pricey, but hey you`re in Switzerland everything is expensive!!

Air conditioning was absent.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the lake. In the morning you can sit on your balcony and overlook the beautiful lake with quiet all around. There are Swiss cows in the nearby hills, and you can hear their bells in the morning, which I loved. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional with everything you could possibly want.

Everything was wonderful. The beds are a bit firm for me, but I overlooked it because everything was fantastic.

Breakfast was delicious. As was the evening meal and the restaurant has a lovely view over the lake. Nice location, my room overlooked the car park nd there was some noise later. The hotel had a nice position on the lake and some rooms would have a lovely view over the lake but probably much more expensive. But I don’t think the hotel itself was full. But they did have a function the night of my stay.

Probably the cost of the delicious evening meal… but I chose the food and wine so I probably should have checked the menu and eaten elsewhere had felt that way before booking my table!!!

3 miles from town and if u take bus it’s a solid walk with luggage to arrive

The views were amazing. There was ample parking space and it was a short walk to the bus stop from where one could easily reach the city centre in 15 mins or so, which was much more convenient than having to find a parking spot in the city. The public transport ticket is included with your stay which is also a nice perk.

There was only one electrical socket at a reachable location in the room and even that was far away from any surfaces. So, it was a bit of a challenge to charge phones if you have short cables.

Our room was lovely, and the view spectacular! Breakfast was excellent, and the serving staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was super convenient. A short walk to the bus stop, and excellent access to pretty much anywhere in the country thereafter.

Housekeeping staff could have been more attentive to details (dirty coffee cups didn't get cleaned, soap and shampoo didn't get replenished). There is no AC in the hotel, so depending on where your room is, ventilation can be a challenge.
