Great location with the matterhorn view, the reception staff is very friendly, well prepared, and willing to help. The online team has a quick response and ready to assist. The shuttle bus driver is quick and kind.

Everything is exceptional until we went for the breakfast, the waitress (Liliana Fernandes) could be more friendly. She has the most bad attitude towards guests that I've ever met. We waited for 2 boiled eggs for 45 minutes when we already finished all of the food. Zermama didn't include breakfast in the price, therefore, I would recommend other guests finding other places for breakfast to avoid the frustration since early morning from a rude, grumpy, bad attitude waitress.

I loved the friendly front of house staff. I loved how modern the hotel was and the funky room design. When I asked for something, they were quick to respond. You couldn't ask for a better location. So close to the Train, the Gornergrat, and everything else.

I loved my dinner at the restaurant- Duck Pie super yum! but I had to ask to be served, I had to go up and order a drink as no one came back to take my drink order. I then had to remind them about my wine as I had nearly finished my meal. I had to get my own bread. They did say they were short staffed, but as a solo traveller, I felt ignored. The breakfast the next day staff were amazing. I had to send my breakfast back as my egg was raw. Then the second breakfast was better but toast dry and overcooked. I did give them this feedback. I ate elsewhere after that. Overall amazing stay. I hope they sort the balance of quality food and enough staff soon.

Everything! From its location beside the river and a short walk to the town centre/train station to the view of the Matterhorn. This contemporary Lodge style hotel has been well thought out in terms of style, lighting (loved the little automatic light beneath the bedside table that activates when you step out of the bed at night, softly lighting your way), the green palette of colour throughout is both relaxing and stylish. All the amenities you could want are provided, a room safe, coffee and tea facilities, fresh water supplies daily, excellent lighted wardrobe area enhanced with a faux fur robe for sitting out on the balcony 😁 The bistro food is absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef and his staff. The buffet breakfast is varied and delicious. The jewel in the crown of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff, Amanda is exceptional in her skills and the team are the most warm, welcoming and friendly I have experienced in a long time. We travel the world extensively and this small hotel is a cosy relaxed little getaway. We will definitely be back, next time I think we will reserve the room with a jacuzzi 😁.

Searching my brain for a negative? In summer it may be very warm and there is no air conditioning. A fan may be a welcome addition.

Amazing hotel in Zermatt! The staff were brilliant, especially Norberto and Amanda! They even gave me a gift (some luxury slippers) as we were on our honeymoon!! Which I absolutely love!! Central location, 5 min walk from Zermatt train station, superb views of the Matterhorn, tasty food, hot tub was lovely. We will definitely be back one day. Thanks again guys for an excellent stay xx

The only thing was the bed, it was 2 singles so this was slightly annoying, definitely recommend changing to a double bed and then it would be perfect!!

it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the rest of my stay. The hotel's location couldn't have been more perfect for who is going for skiing like myself. The room I stayed in was not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed with skiers in mind. The cozy furnishings and spacious layout provided the perfect retreat after a long day on the mountain. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's amenities. From the well-equipped ski storage area to the soothing hot tubs , every aspect of the hotel was designed to enhance the skiing experience and ensure guests' comfort and relaxation. Last but certainly not least, I must commend the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. From the front desk to the room dining servers, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat in the heart of the mountains, whether you're a seasoned skier or just looking to enjoy some time in nature. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, it has a lovely location by the river, and we stayed in a room with a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was exceptionally cool and the rooms were great. We had breakfast outside every morning, enjoyed one super lunch and on one evening some drinks. We were slightly caught out when we asked to use the pool and were told this was part of the suite. However, it was hard to remain too disheartened for long, and we couldn't be too upset with the staff who gave us the news, as they were all fantastic and super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Zermatt.

Perfect location for walking to every destination. Very nicely designed hotel, and clean. Staff was incredibly friendly. Very quick and efficient check in. Menu was terrific and the downstairs bar was the place to be for apres ski. Quiet enough in the evening that we could sleep with our door open. Very comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast menu. Great value for the cost of everything.

At night the lights are on a sensor so if you get up to use the bathroom they light up the whole room. Those should be dimmed or removed as it can wake the other person.

This hotel is 10/10. The view was out of this world. Rooms are gorgeous and so cosy. Staff were amazing - nothing was an issue and so friendly and helpful. Location is very central and right beside a ski lift. The room with the balcony was so worth it to wake up to the most amazing view every morning. Bar is gorgeous for some drinks and food. Ski storage area also so you are not dragging gear to your room.

I cannot fault this property - it was amazing!!

Visited with my mother and the room was cute and the Location was good. It was a bit of a walk from the train station (which also means the area seemed less hectic) but there is a bus stop just steps away that will take you around. The view from the balcony of the room we were in was amazing and we woke up to unobstructed views of the Matterhorn one morning which was very memorable. We enjoyed drinks at the bar one night and there was live music.

No breakfast included in the room rate. No conditioner in the bathroom but this seems pretty normal for most of the hotels around.

The room is very chic and its brand new. Apparently its just 3 years old but I love that they are very particular with the details such as the fur coat to keep you warm, the fur slippers (which are both faux fur btw). We got the room with the Matterhorn view and it was absolutely stunning. Especially when you want to see the Matterhorn glowing in sunrise and you dont want to get out of the hotel room yet! It was quite pricey for one night but we thought it was absolutely worth every penny. They set a high standard with hotels and next time we come back, definitely it will be Hotel Zermama again.

That we had to just stay for one night. I wish I dont have to leave the hotel room. Haha
