Newly renovated rooms are very successful - Bravo

The wellness area should place rules of behaviour with text and symbolic images as prominently as possible. I used the sauna for 2 days and either guests (international guests) did not shower before using it, wore bathing suits (unhygienic without end) or did not use the sauna towel as required. The small but nice sauna area will not remain in this light for long if the guests behave in a really strange way.

Hotel Elite is situated at the very heart of Zermatt. Within walking distance to two out of three main Zermatt ski lifts and super close to the free ski bus station. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood and also a large Migros Supermarket. Spacious and stylish hotel rooms in warm wood/modern design. A nice surprise was a grand shower in the pretty, modern bathroom. Everything was perfectly clean. We visited in winter, therefore, we could not use the big balcony with Matterhorn View, but in summer this must be a highlight. Nice breakfast which included everything needed and had a good, proper coffee machine. The hotel staff treated us very nicely. They take care of the taxis from and to the Zermatt train station and always helped with all the questions we had.

We booked a standard room and it was bigger than we expected, with balcony and view of mountains between nextdoor hotels. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Hotel better than we expected from the reviews. Short walk from the train station.

Breakfast was good but not the best on the trip.

The room was clean and big. While the equipment was modern, some old Swiss chalet ornaments were kept. These ornaments somehow give an enjoyable, pleasant atmosphere. The hotel was also close to the SBB station and a bus stop that passed by the bus for Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The view from the room was also incredible.

Breakfast can be arranged 30 minutes earlier. This will help people chase the Matterhorn reflection on some places toward glacier paradise.

Had a wonderful experience. Tamara at reception was very helpful and kind. She added an extra bed for us and helped us with a later checkout. The location is great, near really good restaurants, opposite from a laundry, next to rentals and a short walk to the gondola. Morning breakfast was good, especially the donut balls. The jacuzzi in the room was perfect after a long day skiing. The boot warmers were greatly appreciated.

Would have liked to have laundry facilities in the hotel but there is a laundry across the street.

Great location in Zermatt. Easy walk to Sunegga or to Gornergratt train; easy to catch bus to Matterhorn Express lift. Good breakfast included. Ski storage room in easy location.

Noise from the bar next door was the only gripe.

Some guy yelled for good 10 minutes late at night sounded like some verbal/physical violence going on. The hotel was further inside from the main streets so might need to be at hotel earlier than later if you are a solo traveller?

Central location, close to main train stain, restaurants and funicular to Sunnegga

Breakfast buffet layout; coffee machine, croissants, jams, hot options all positioned in a corner of the room leading to congestion as one person can block access to all if they are waiting for their coffee.

Great location, great value, we got everything that we were promised to have, and the girl at front desk was so pleasant and helpful. We are so happy that we chosen the property. Breakfast was very good! Strongly recommend!
