This was THE BEST experience I have ever had at a hotel, hands down. From the booking I made quickly after which I was greeted virtually by a team that asked if I had any questions, helped book transport from the train station and made me a dinner reservation, to the exceptionally warm welcomes of the individual who picked me up at the train station, brought up my bag, to the host who welcomed me as the elevator doors opened and greeted me by name quickly offering me a glass of champagne and a seat on the sundeck. I then had a tour of the hotel amenities and was shown a tour of my hotel room. I was able to enjoy the luxurious space, incredible mountain views, proximity to the main street and delight in the beauty of the room. I had the fortunate opportunity to attend dinner at the Omnia where every individual working made sure every need of mine was met from ensuring my glasses were filled and food recommendations provided. The breakfast was perfect. I could go on and on and on. The ENTIRE experience of my stay was a dream and I will forever remember my stay at the Omnia as the best hotel experience I have had.

There was nothing I did not like.

It all started by entering the hotel’s private tunnel with the transfer vehicle and then taking the lift in the mountain/rock up to the lobby: felt like James Bond. Of all the hotels I have visited, this one has by far the best staff. Everyone took so good care of us and I recommend this hotel if you visit Zermatt. All the facilities are top quality (spa, gym, library, bar, terrace with view on the Matterhorn…) We also loved the dinner at the hotel’s restaurant: go with the chef’s surprise 4-course menu and enjoy every bite! We will remember this weekend and come back for sure. Thank you The Omnia!

We enjoyed everything!

Excellent breakfast, with an even better view. The staff is exceptionally trained and very focused on their guests. The rooms all have great views and the beds are extremely comfortable. The pool and spa are excellent (again, with a fantastic view). Definitely worth a visit, even if only for one night!

I loved EVERYTHING in the hotel. From the architecture to the Location, this hotel is superb. Buuuut what I loved most was the service. Staff there really is something else. I had some problems with my train and arrived late, they were able to help me with everything I needed at the moment...the same when I was leaving, they managed to help me FLY over the swiss alps and as I didn't have time to come back to the hotel even made me breakfast to go! Thank you for making my days PERFECT! I will definetely bring my family back to The Omnia.

Everything. The service is amazing. They greet you by name, know what room you are staying in, and do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable. When my wife had a sore throat, they offered to bring up a hot water maker, tea, honey, lemon, and meds. When they saw me later, they also asked to see how she was doing. At breakfast, they made her ginger tea without us asking. The staff are also very knowledgeable about the area, and have actually hiked most of the trails so they can give you real life recommendations. The rooms are well designed, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping catches the small things. For example, they saw that we used a bath matt and a hand towel next to the shower to keep the floor dry (those dang half shower doors. So the next day they left us with two bath mats. Oh, and the complimentary house bourbon! Never, have I ever experienced this.

I wish they had a few more cooked options out for breakfast instead of having to order

Everything about this hotel was excellent, the breakfast, the room, the fantastic service and staff. This hotel is exceptional in every way but I think what makes is stand out beyond any other hotel is the amazing staff. Everyone from the bottom to the top staff was extremely kind, helpful and genuinely interested that you are having a wonderful experience. It feels as though you are staying in the home of a very gracious host!

The shutters in the bathroom didn't close all the way and it felt as if people could see in and there was a walking trail outside the window. I'm sure the glass is reflective or one way, but I wasn't sure.

The best hotel i have ever been in. The staff is very nice, the spa is amazing, outside jaccuzy with the view is a dream, a few saunas, towels and water as many as you need, so quiet and beutiful. the room big and beautiful, the view from the terrace is amazing. Even the sleepers are the most cozy i saw in hotels. Breakfast and Dinner are really good. The waitresses uniform is lovely. They think about every little detail, when we left they gave us a box of chocolate!

Friendliness of the entire staff was really great and they took very good care of any need or special request. We enjoyed a warm welcome and they tried to do the outmost to meet expectations and make it a pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the contemporary architecture of the building and the room design.

Was all fine and did not feel crowded at all, while I wonder how the SPA size will meet needs when maybe busier in wintertime. So we booked and will give it a try next ski season.

We liked everything about our stay. The staff were so friendly, polite and accommodating. They really worked well as a team and paid attention to every detail, starting from when they picked us up at the train station to dropping us off at the station. They were able to hold our bags beforec check in as we got there early. The view was great despite some cranes. The bourbon was great. The welcome drink was delicious and appreciated.

The pillows were a little too soft, however the bed was so comfy!!

Staffs are so lovely and helpful like a family, we stayed there 6 nights, very cozy and clean, they do clean the rooms twice a day and in the morning housekeeper would spent 1+ hour to deep clean the room (really appreciated ❤️); The first night when we arrived to the hotel was so warm welcoming, Bourbon (whiskey), Champagne, fruits, muffins, chocolates and a cute little welcome letter all set in the room to welcoming us. Also love the Mozart music collection, very classy. Really enjoyed the tea bags and coffee set in the room aswell. Breakfast menu is really good all fresh made, tasty 😋 and pretty. Love my pancakes 🥞❤️ Spa and swimming pool are so comfy, warm, clean always tidy up, great atmosphere. Love the unique hotel entrance, a cave styled :) Dinner is so wonderful too, again tasty and beautiful presentation. The location is close to everywhere, very easy access. The staffs are so caring and sweet, I got up 7am for the Matterhorn sunrise, the lady would brought me rugs and blanket to keep me warm. And I lost my bag on the train at night, they helped me to find my bag…! (Never felt this safe and kind people to anywhere I travelled around the world so far.) thank you again The Omnia team and Torben.❤️ Another impressive note: they reply and all of your email request immediately, even at midnight…! Also during our train route from Geneva to Zermatt had a few issues regarding engineering work, we got really confused even the train information centre couldn’t explain very detailed, so we had to email the hotel and Anna from the front office literally sent a very detailed route to us and taught us step by step how to get into zermatt, without their help it won’t be this smooth. I would definitely come back to The Omnia now and then :)
