Wow, what a stay. I wish I’d had longer to be there, but Zurich was an unscheduled stop on my trip and I had to leave. The location .25 mile from Stadelhofen was great, the commuter train to/from Zurich HB ran every 5 minutes; and the hotel is 100 meters or less from Lake Zurich Promenade. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, eager to help and just very nice. The room was sweet, very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything I needed. Breakfast was perfect for my tastes. Light and lots of coffee.

(Caveat - I have a very bad back, so many others would not feel the same as do I.) The pillows were flat, and lumpy. And the mattress was not very supportive.

Breakfast staff were so very happy and helpful. Reception staff were also attentive and helpful. They helped us navigate our way around the city. We felt like we were at home. The room was very pretty, the outlook was stunning. Location is superb for all the tourist attractions. Especially the train location for arrival, departure to the airport and to the other cities in Switzerland Receiving the email on the best way to get to the hotel was clear and concise. Lake Zurich is so close by, just having lunch down the lake before we checked into our room, put us in such a good starting point for our Zurich adventure.

Apparently they have a minibar/fridge but you need to request for it at time of booking. There was no notice anywhere on this at time of booking.

It's old world European charm. Lovely and spacious rooms with antique furnishings and a chandelier that felt like stepping a 100 years back in time. The location was amazing and the staff was top-notch. I even liked having an actual key to get into our room.

Not having A/C. It was manageable for us in September with the fan they provided and the window open, but I would imagine it would be pretty uncomfortable in the heat of summer.

Great boutique hotel  Jan and his assistant where great , airline lost my luggage and they were relentless trying to help me  and show true compassion. Noel in the restaurant with Charlotte were also amazing and truly made my stay enjoyable. When back in Zürich. I will definitely be staying here.

Ummm the city doing excavation at 7:30 on a Monday morning and they were gone by nine so stupid

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Europe! The hotel was very well located, and we loved the hotel's decor - it was charming and cozy. During our stay we always enjoyed breakfast at the hotel's Max&Otto restaurant, which we strongly recommend for its lovely atmosphere and service. To conclude, our sincere gratitude to all the staff for their work, and a special thanks to Miss Tatiana and Mr. Simão for their diligence and for always greeting us with a smile. We had the best time in Zurich!

I LOVED everything. I have to mention the staff specifically, they were so genuinely caring, helpful and when I was checking out I got a box of Lindt chocolates so definitely won't forget that:) I enjoyed the location, the ENTIRIOR, unique and clean, and practical. There is no other option for me when in Zurch than staying in this hotel!

Everything was perfect!

The location is amazing. A beautiful looking hotel very near to the center. The entire staff is very helpful. Noya who is working at the reception is very diligent. Employees like her are a great asset to any organisation.

I feel , there should be a kettle with some coffee and tea sachets in the room. A mini fridge was also missing. Rest all was wonderful 👍😊

Our stay at Hotel Europe exceeded our expectations, every room is different , has so much character, the bathroom is spotless and modern and you can see how much thought the owners have put into the details. The service from the cleaners, the front desk and the restaurant can't be fault . We had a great dinner at the restaurant one night , every dish we had was perfect. The location is next to the Opera and is perfect .

The hairdryer is old style and needs replacement, the pillows were too too soft that don't give any support to the neck. In the breakfast I would add some cakes and biscuits.

Classic and luxurious hotel in the heart of Zurich, overlooking the famous lake. The hotel is located close to Opera teacher and in close proximity to the main attractions and shopping street Bahnhofstrasse. Breakfast was splendid with high-quality products. Very nice and warming personnel. Highly recommend this hotel and we definitely come back again.
