It was nice to be able to use the free umbrellas in the lobby. The room was clean. The location was also very good. Also, the view from our penthouse room was very sweet.

There was no conditioner in the shower. It was written on the shampoo that it was for hair, body and hands. We didn't understand what kind of shampoo this was. Also, the coffee cups in the room did not have a handle. It was very difficult to hold the cups filled with hot water.

The property is just 2 minutes walk to central tram station and poly bahn. this was very convenient to explore places in Zurich

It’s a lovely 3 star hotel ....clean and modern and funky with minimalist interior design and smartly designed and our rear facing room was very quiet from street noise yet it was close to everything …walkable to main train station. Super comfy bed and pillows and nice house keeping staff and helpful information from the front desk .

The AC (apparently by Swiss law) can’t be reduced below 23.5C) all rooms should have access to fans..we only managed to get one on our second night....and on 30C days you need AC and a fan…we had abit of noise from the room above …we would have loved a Nespresso machine. The rooms are small..but that was to advertised and expected.

We stayed at Hotel Felix for total 3 nights. One night in the first week and two nights in our last week in Switzerland. There was a heatwave that week so it was super hot already outside. We then also got a room without a/c. And the room is on 4th floor which we assume it is right under the roof. So it was just hot and unbreathable. Fortunately, Fatima provided us with an extra fan. She also was very kind and reserved rooms with a/c for us for the rest of the stay. She is very helpful and kind. Thank you very much. Location is perfect - right in the middle and easy to walk to tram.

We found a sharped edge metal little thing in our towel. Luckily, it didn't scratch my parents. I wish they are more careful. Other than that we had a great stay here.

I liked absolutely everything about this hotel. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. At first, I thought that my room (401) was so tiny and awkward but it took me only an hour to appreciate the benefits that this room had to offer. By the time when I had to check out, I was so happy there that I wished I could stay longer. I loved absolutely everything about their breakfast buffet. Strongly recommended to enjoy it. The location of this place is awesome. It is located 3 minutes walking distance from Central station. It gives you an opportunity to walk to so many places including main train station. During my stay, on the street where hotel is and on the street down from it, there were major construction going on, but the workers were doing their job and respected the public and hardly made any noise. It amazed me.

The hotel is located in a highly touristed area of Zurich's old town. While lovely by day, the streets fill up with drinkers, sex workers and drug customers at night. Located near train station, universities, restaurants and shops.

We booked twin beds and were given a room with a large single bed. The hotel refused to help until I complained on Booking.com. The next day the beds were changed. Breakfast is expensive. NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!! No staff on duty at night.

The location is excellent. Close enough to the train station but far enough from all the tourist noise. I was on the 4th floor and the room had aircon which I was very grateful for. It was good there was a half breakfast option, rather than the full buffet. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well sized for a solo traveller. I arrived about an hour before checkin but they had a room available to me (without me even asking). This gesture is always truly appreciated.

I was a little disappointed as I had thought the hotel had a roof terrace but it turns out this is only for the 5th floor residence. The hotel indicated it is advertised this way, but it's not how it comes across on booking.com and the traveller reviews. Only a small point.

I think Hotel Felix was our the nicest hotel we stayed at on our whole trip through Europe. It was very well located within walking distance to everything; main train station, Old Town, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely. Very modern, immaculately clean and comfortable. We chose to spend more on the larger room which included air conditioning, which we would highly recommend as the room was excellent and the air-con needed in summer. Walking around the hotel was great - such a pretty area surrounded by shops and nice restaurants. The breakfast was also very good.

We liked everything!

Location was great! Walking distance from the metro and everything else. I did not need car service, not even for my tours meeting points. Maybe you'll have to deal with a few meters of cobblestone sidewalks when you arrive with your luggage, but it's doable. The room I chose was small, but that is because I did not need more. I was a solo traveler, not planning to spend any time indoors. Plenty of restaurants around! The area is lively at night. You will find most of what you need. The room itself was very comfortable. They made good use of the space. The bathroom was gorgeous! I loved it! But if you have someone with you, I can foresee a little privacy issue. The walls of the bathrooms are see-through. You can see the toilet from anywhere in the room... hm? Wifi is really good. The staff was polite and helpful.

The decoration and furnishings were modern and clean, and were stylish. The bathroom was small but excellently fitted out. Blinds on the window were very convenient as we could have the windows open yet stay private. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the location in the Old Town (near the top end closer to the station) was very good - close to the pedestrian area with lots of restaurants and places to drink, with charming squares and historical houses. We were able to walk to the Rathaus/centre and then Lake really easily and passed loads of lovely coffee shops.

I didn't like the fact they had made up a third bed in the room when we arrived (we booked for 2). Luckily the sofa bed was easy to convert back and gave us lots more seating/comfort. It is all a little on the small side, with limited lounge space downstairs, but considering the central city location and the value for money, this made sense. I would definitely go back.
