Location was great ,didn’t have breakfast but did eat in the bar and the food was excellent . Hotel is spotless and the lighting in the bathroom was very bright which is a plus for me.

My room was on the small side and the bathtub was very high, hard to get in and out of .

Location is good. Just across Zurich HB train station which is is about 15 minutes train ride from Zurich airport. Staff are friendly.

Heater could be better. I told the staff that the heater isn't working well and they said It usually take 1 hour to heat up but they brought me a portable heater which is helpful.

Location, staff, the room - AAA+. Walking distance to all major attractions in the area. They also have a deal with Activ Fitness next to the hotel, so it’s super convenient if you’re a gym rat :)

Breakfast selection was quite poor. I would’ve expected more of a 4-star hotel.

Location is the reason that I chose this hotel. Few minutes walk from train station and close to other places to visit. The room size is comfortable with good layout that I won't bother my wife when she is sleeping and I like to do something on the desk.

The breakfast is not a good value. I did not choose the breakfast when I reserved this place on booking.com because I was not sure if I would go out earlier before the breakfast time. But I did ate at breakfast for the first morning I stayed ( I stayed two nights ) and I do not like it.

In my estimation, the primary reason to stay at Central Plaza is the location. You really can't beat its proximity to so much in the city center of Zurich and the train station. It's an easy walk to Lake Zurich. The hotel is very clean and the staff is attentive.

The rooms are very small and I would argue that the photos on the website are misleading with regard to the room size. Our room was made more cramped by a massive lamp, table, and two large chairs in the corner. My husband and I were constantly stepping aside to let the other person get to their suitcase or the bathroom. If you're used to air conditioning and are staying in the summer, just know that their cooling system is not actual air conditioning. It's a cool air flow system, where cooler air seeps into your room. It does very little during the day if it's above 75 F/25 C. Ask the front desk for a fan. That helped.

That even though it was short notice we decided to go to Zurich for part of our 40 yr anniversary, they had upgraded us to a jnr suite, with complimentary champagne & room preparation Excellent location could not fault it. Had foam pillows on request

Bed could do with an upgrade too noisy for a brass bed, shower is connected to the bath, but very dangerous getting in as it was too high / deep even for my husband Only has a hand held shower that doesn’t sit in place so you can wash yourself all the water spills out on the floor. All hotels should have a little fresh milk in the fridge for tea / coffee.

We didn’t take the breakfast but it looked very acceptable. The location of the hotel with proximity to the train station was a priority. Most of the important sites are within easy walking distance. Room was clean and properly equipped.

Only a minor point really. The reception were notified of the absence of the coffee cups in the room - the cleaners probably forgot to replace them when they serviced the room. It took a few reminders (and about an hour) before housekeeping brought them up. I offered to collect them on the first notification. As I say, only a minor irritation but the hotel should act quickly to rectify their own errors. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Location was a short walk from train station, and across the road from the old town. staff were welcoming on arrival and the room was nice - and bliss - windows that opened and an airy room. with windows shut room was well soundproofed and bed was comfortable. Wifi was ok. Breakfast was fine. Nicely appointed room.

I’m not a fan of step in bath/showers as water tends to get over the floor, and getting out can be precarious. No handrail to hold on to. Otherwise bathroom was nice with twin sinks. Breakfast was pricey and not as good compared with other places we stayed whilst touring the region, but the restaurant was nice and staff very attentive

We initially chose Central Plaza because it is very close to the railway station and our stopover in Zurich was going to be very brief indeed. However, it’s an excellent choice regardless of those reasons. It’s safe, secure and very well maintained, providing a range of creature comforts that were beyond our expectations. The room was very large, located on the 6th floor with commanding views of the neighbourhood. Quiet, immaculately presented and scrupulously clean. Plenty of seating and storage. Very functional, very Swiss.

Even with the curtains open and all lights on, the room was rather dark, especially for reading. However, many guests will probably find that quite soothing, almost cocoon-like. Conversely, there are several walls with large areas of mirror glass that create the illusion the room is even bigger than it is… in the low light, you can find yourself on the edge of walking headlong into the wall until you get used to it. Quirky but all part of the interior design statement.

Location and friendliness of staff. Coming from the US, may word the description little better..it said "double", I thought that meant two double beds, it meant one bed. I was traveling with my grown son and we wanted two beds. Staff said we could get a cot for an extra $50 per night, at $300 per night for the room, I thought that was expensive. They offered to give us the cot for no extra charge. There was access to an actual gym close by and my son enjoyed that. Usually hotels don't have much for a gym, and this was access to a regular gym.

For the price at $300 per night, and grown son hadto sleep on a cot. There wasn't enough room for the cot, so staff took the chair out. We needed the chair too, but not room for cot and chair. The breakfast was good, but not worth $24 per person, in my opinion.
