The location was amazing, perfectly situated next to the main Zurich train station and shopping precinct. The staff, particularly in reception were among the most helpful and friendly we've experienced. The rooms are fairly basic. The breakfast was good but not many hot food options. The beds were quite uncomfortable, they dipped in the middle. The pillows completely flattened in the night.

Location is the best. We came from Zurich airport via train and got down at the Zurich HB. This hotel is right there when you get out of the station ---- very close to the train station. Room is big. We didn't expect to get lots of space. Although the decor was dated, king size bed, the extra bed for my son and the bathroom have so much space. We also love the breakfast but it could use a little improvement. Angela from the front desk was the best as she provided us great tips on how to go around Zurich and made suggestions on where to eat.

Not a lot of amenities (such as gym etc.) but we are okay with that.

The location was a very easy walk from the train station and the staff was very helpful. Book the hotel from their website and it makes it much easier to make any potential changes than through Booking.com. We had to add a second day to our stay which we booked on the hotel site because Booking.com did not show any availability. We did have to change rooms but just across the hall on the top floor.

We paid for breakfast on the second day and it was so-so. With all the wonderful pastries in Europe I was expecting a better selection of something sweet due to my American background, I like sweet for breakfast.

The place is located at 5 minutes walk from Zurich station, which is reachable by direct train from the airport and takes 10–12 minutes in total journey time. The hotel reception staff was welcoming and polite to provide the details and address any queries. On arrival, I was also given one complimentary voucher for a drink (coffee, beer or wine) to use in the adjacent bar. The room I stayed was very good size with queen size bed and had complimentary two water bottles with usual tea/coffee bags and kettle stuff. The bed was comfy to sleep but a bit of talking noise can be heard from adjacent rooms. At specific times of day when it had direct sun, the room also got a bit hot. The breakfast mostly had fruits, boiled egg and breads with hot drinks. The Zurich bus station is 10-12min by walk from hotel where all tour buses runs. You can also reach Lake Zurich by 20-min walk. On the day of check-out, hotel staff were kind to take feedback and improve on it.

To include a bit more options on the breakfast to cater diverse group of people.

We really enjoyed our stay at Townhouse Hotel. Our stay in Zurich was the ending of a river cruise, so the shuttle took us right to a spot across from the main train station. After following the directions I printed off the Booking. com website, we eventually found the Townhouse - it was right around the corner from where we were dropped off!! Our fault for the roundabout route. Great location! Though we were too early to check-in, we left our luggage and went to lunch. Our room was ready when we returned. A very nice receptionist at the desk. Up to a large, comfortable room with a skylight window. A little odd with the sink in the bedroom area and the toilet and shower in a little room, but it worked fine. Comfortable bed, nice furnishings. We opted for the breakfast inclusion and it was quite good - extended continental. Zurich is an expensive place to visit but we enjoyed our stay. This hotel was half the price of the one suggested by the cruise line, which was right around the corner. One block from the main river, lots of shops (chocolate!!) and restaurants nearby. Just watch out for the trollies!!

Can't think of any negatives.

The location is excellent. It is very close to the main station (Zurich HB) and located very close to the Old Town so exploring was very easy. The hotel is very nice and has a boutique feel. In the surrounding areas there are many food options but probably the best value for money is in the Old Town. Being so close to ZHB means it was very easy to go to places like Lucerne.

As a general comment, Switzerland in general is extremely expensive. There are very few great value options. The cost of *everything* tends to spoil the value of the vacation. Specifically, there was nothing to dislike about the hotel.

Location is perfect Zurich HB. quick walk. Trams on side street very close. Loved the larger bed in single room it was about 45 in wide with nice linens, down. Elevator great. Good hair dryer in bath No AC, big fan was nice Nice bath w larger shower & shelves under the sink Liked single toilet bathroom. Could use more power that's easy access. There is a cord near bed that worked. I had several USB devices, everything charges slower in EU than US so plan ahead Bring a Swiss 3 prong curved adapter Bar & dining on site Busy area, room was quiet with window open, good sleep after International travel I requested High floor & was on 5th (There are lovely street side tables in front, it was nice not to be part of this while inside) this street is pedestrian only I would stay here again.

Mini fridge would be most helpful. Coop & Migros grocery are both inside the train station nearby. Everything else was great

The hotel is basically across the street from the main train station and so perfect for day trips to other cities and the Alps. It is also within walking distance to the Old City and Lake Zurich. Our rooms were unusually large, as well.

There was no AC, just an ineffectual fan which made my room very stuffy at times. Opening the window means one hears the noise from the (very fun) bars just outside the main entrance. However, my friend's room faced another way and she was able to leave her balcony door open all night. Also the beds in our rooms were far too soft and we had trouble sleeping.

Location, only 3 minutes to walk Inside the Railway Station and starting of Bahnhofstrasse.

The glasses for complimentary drinks were not clean and had lipstick marks on it, otherwise, all good.

The location is perfect, 2minutes walk to train station, in the heart of the shopping district and 5 minutes from the old town. Very attentive staff, young but very and polite.

The venue is fairly old, the room certainly looked aged including the bathroom which had some issues with the sink and shower drainage. Our room faced the back of the hotel, it was fairly noisy from adjoining businesses and air condition units from the retail premises facing the back of the hotel. The rooms don’t have a mini fridge and are also not conditioned. The fan on the stand was broken. The pillows were so soft they were unusable, but the team did supply us with some new replacements which helped.
