The facilities were amazing, everything was very clean and comfortable, the restaurant was excellent, the staff was very kind, the breakfast was good. They helped with all the needs we had ( booking tours, booking shuttle to the airport, delivery of dinner in our room and making a box with food since my boyfriend was sick a couple of days)

Not many things. The main problem is that there was no door separating the toilet and the bedroom. Besides there was no proper barman to make cocktails, but they told me it was a temporary problem. There were not many spots to sit in the pool outside. The spa was not taken care the same level as the rest of the hotel, but it was ok.

It was a wonderful and positive experience to stay in this hotel! Hotel is very clean and beautiful, food is amazing, but most of all the people who work there are wonderful and go above and beyond to make all the guest happy and create a family atmosphere! Special thanks to Leyla and Oruç who made every day wonderful for us - they deserve a promotion and you’re happy to have such good people there as all the guests would come back because of this. :) One suggestion would be to start morning yoga sessions to add in the activities for the hotel as we would have loved if you had this- guests can pay separately to attend this and would take many pictures from there and promote the hotel with this so you can even do retreats there for people who specifically want to do yoga (like us :)) Thank you for everything!

All was great!

We loved this place. Check-in was smooth: whilst we got a tour of the place the porter had taken our bags to our room. We were taken to the beautiful restaurant straight away where the team had a birthday cake ready for me (my heart!). They have the cutest dog that welcomed us too and continued to say hi everyday. Room had underfloor heating which made returning home after a day out really comforting (we travelled end of November). Lovely furniture, giant bed and beautiful bathroom. Room refreshed and cleaned daily. Staff friendly and the breakfast was great. I could go on and on! Was it expensive for us? Yes, but absolutely worth the splurge especially for the magical location and made up for the disappointment when the balloons got cancelled everyday because of the weather. We stayed at another (cheaper) hotel for our last night in Cappadocia as this one was fully booked and you really do get what you pay for, the difference was clear. Coming back next year with my parents.

The entire hotel is beautiful but there was no decorated terrace per-say to view the balloons that quite a few other hotels surrounding often have. Nearly every day of our trip they were cancelled anyway so didn't really matter, but on one day I managed to catch them towards the end so I ran to the roof but (at least at the end of November) it really is just an empty roof without any chairs or cushions or anything. Would be nice to see if this is different in other seasons. Also for couples be aware that this hotel is family friendly. No fault of the hotel but there seemed to be a sudden influx of families towards the end of our stay which slightly changed the ambience for us. Not disruptive or bad but definitely something to consider if this impacts you.

It's a beautiful hotel, with a good spa and great swimming pool, super comfy beds, and friendly staff speaking a few languages.

Breakfast is served in a dark room with no windows - we wished it was served "with a view" :) . Steam bath in the spa was not working.

The property was beautiful, like a museum! Stunning pottery showcased throughout, lovely decor and lay out. Staff were fabulous and so helpful. It was hot (40 degrees some days!) so we loved jumping into the pool! The spa is lovely, I went swimming in the indoor pool every day, a real luxury. Breakfast was really nice and they mixed up the hot food each day. Coffee did the job but prefer Turkish coffee as places in Göreme don’t do non-dairy milk. We didn’t get to eat at Ala restaurant at the hotel but they have live music on weekends so wish we had been able to! Wine tap was fun! Two great viewing terraces to spot the hot air balloons! Even though it was hot, the cave room was cool enough for us with the fan. I was worried because of the lack of AC but I didn’t feel we needed it. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Stunning property, located minutes away from Goreme's Main Street. Our room had a lovely out door seating area with a wonderful view of the fairy chimneys. The room was spacious and decorated nicely. The on-site pool and spa were lovely and a great way to spend an afternoon. All the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the local activities and gave us great tips on activities and restaurants.

Due to the fact the whole hotel is built within caves and is essentially in a desert it was hard to completely clean all the sand and dust in our room, because it just kept flowing back in. The staff however did their best!

Fabulous accommodation, with spectacular views of the balloons rising in the morning from multiple viewing decks. It was also very quiet on the rooftops in the mornings, so perfect if you want to enjoy the balloons rising in peace - unlike other accommodations we saw (such as Sultan, which was packed in the mornings). We got a free room upgrade to a fairy chimney, which was divine.

No aircon :( it got very hot in the cave rooms. Sadly there was a lot of construction on the road outside throughout our whole stay, which was very loud and created a lot of dust throughout the daytime - but not an issue if you plan to be out and about all day.

Great location, close to centre. Staff extremely helpful and tried to accommodate us as best they could. Rooms were amazing - authentic cave feel.

One of the shower was broken, water was going up to the ceiling instead of down on us. The ladies that work in the spa who did our massage were very rude, they were gossiping about me and my friend, making rude remarks about our apperance/body, in their native language as they thought we couldn't understand, but we understood every word (türkçe anliyoruz) - very unpleasant experience, for the price we paid I would have appreciated a little more professionalism.

Our stay at Anatolian houses was magical. The staff could not have done more for us- allowing us to have breakfast on our day of arrival free of charge and organising laundry service during our stay. The hotel was extremely central yet peaceful. The view of the balloons from the terraces was great. I am glad we opted for a hotel with a pool as a lot of the activities on offer are first thing/ last thing so it was good to have somewhere to chill during the day. We enjoyed a hammam massage in the spa and dinner in the restaurant during our stay. I spent a lot of time researching hotels with Cappadocia and am delighted with my choice.

The only think which would have improved our stay is the availability of drinks during the day. The bar was usually unmanned and the staff seemed a little puzzled by a request for an iced latte.
