The location of the hotel is excellent, two minutes from the Corniche overlooking the Bosphorus, and very close to the historical areas and central places, the Hagia Sophia Mosque, Sultan Ahmed and Topkapi Palace. We also appreciate the beautiful reception, classy dealings, cooperation and response from the hotel staff specially , Ms. Leilia and Mr. Mohamed, and we thank them for a warm farewell to the family.

Great location

The general presentation and customer care was haphazard. The hotel looked as if it was the midst of renovation. you expect to see guests sleeping in the reception and Wi-Fi not working. For 7 days breakfast was the same: never want to eat cornflakes again.

Very close to Hagia Sofia

it was dirty, when we entered the room we had no toiletries, and there was a receptionist that didn’t speak English (we had the hotel arrange transfer to the airport for us at 8:00 am and at 8:30 am the transfer hadn’t arrived and we were trying to communicate with a man who couldn’t speak English. it was nerve wrecking)

When we arrived we checked in at the reception and at the last second the receptionist told us that we will have to place you in a different apartment as our apartment is still being occupied by the previous occupiers and because due to weather conditions they have had to stay another day!!! This is not our problem as we had paid close to £2500 for 6 nights; we accepted being convinced that the current apartment is similar and in the morning we could check into our original apartment; when we entered this apartment is was unliveable, filthy & dirty, no lock on the toilet, filthy fridge and in a bad state including the furniture. We approached the receptionist who reluctantly called the Manager when we refused to budge; the Manager Ramzan tried to convince us to stay in this apartment and to help the other family in our original apartment - we refused on the basis that we had paid a damn good high-end rent and it was not our issue that the hotel had double booked or not allotted the apartments accordingly - Ramzan finally gave in and took us a few blocks away to another hotel 'Berce Apart & Suite' whereby we were given a decent apartment and did not even bother to return back to see the original apartment and location. The drama doesn't stop there, the washing machine was not working, the sofa beds didn't open up and one of the AC's not switching off. In fairness Ramzan did get these matters resolved and does try his best to resolve issues once he his told. In conclusion there is also many dogs lurking around this apartment and we had a good few close encounters!!!

I felt unsafe my room had no power facilties to charge my phone or any electricity . The reciption doesn’t speak a word of English I felt extremely unsafe in my room and left my room within a hour of checking in.
