Sleep Inn & Suites Pleasant Hill - Des Moines

I loved the location, it was a beautiful building it looked very nice. The breakfast was good. One of your employees was super sweet and helpful and attentive to the guests during breakfast, I did not get her name though.

The woman that checked us in did not smile she seemed like she was not happy to be there nor happy to help, the pool had no towels and the pool/hot tub smelled a bit dirty. There was trash and a lot of dirt under our bed. ( I wasn't looking for it I dropped a bottle cap and it rolled under.) We where a little confused about the spa too was that just the hot tub and if not how do we access the spa for next time? This may seem like a lot of complaints but really this is not a huge deal to me the over all stay was very nice.

Good breakfast eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, toast, muffins, and more. The hot tub was perfect temperature and the pool was nice. It was about 10 minutes from Adventureland and the casino and 20 minutes to downtown.

Everything was satisfactory.

The location and the hot tub in the room was excellent. Plan on staying alot more here

The lady who checked me in was not a nice person she had a snotty attitude and I almost walked out without staying but I'm very pleased with all the other staff and glad I stayed

I would have liked to seen biscuit's and gravy. That's one of my favorites when I stay at any hotel.

the room was very clean and the whirlpool tub was perfect! The setup was even nice as I was able to relax in the tub while watching Sportscenter Monday morning. I would definitely stay here again!

the road construction around the hotel made it a little difficult to navigate. I also think they would do better with the vending machines. They look like they are from the 1980's and the selection was not the greatest.

Room was spacious. Quiet. Fully stocked vending machine and ice maker worked which is good alot of places dont keep up on those things. Clean and updated!

Tub drained slow. The ventilation for the pool didnt work so the whole place smelt like chlorine. The pillows werent that great felt like feather personally didnt like them but rest of family didnt mind.

I liked the cleanliness and the free breakfast. I got in late so we didn’t have time to check out the pool or hot tub.

The beds were not comfy at all, and in the early morning hours people kept slamming there doors.

The hotel staff were all super friendly. The room was huge and the kids had bunk beds in their room. Which I’ve never seen at a hotel before. Great idea! Breakfast looked great however the rest of the fam didn’t get up in time. Pool was great, they had onsite laundry. Lots of grass for the dogs and the property isn’t huge so all rooms are convenient to get to.

Everything was great.

Facility was clean and the staff was there to help, breakfast was great as well.

Unfortunately we got to a room and AC was broken The first night they got us another room the second night and it wasn't working that well, the pool had an overwhelming scent of chlorine which usually means there's too much, I did air it out by opening up the doors in pool area.

Great location! Breakfast was wonderful! Pool and spa were good.

Bed uncomfortable. Toilet not functioning properly. No towel service for our 3 day stay.
