This resort is fabulous for the family. It has a lot of facilities for children: A children's pool, an indoor children's play area with staff for watching children, an outdoor children's play area, and a water park. All these facilities are highly safe. This hotel is the best for families to have a great time. The breakfast is fabulous, with a lot of varieties. Although the hotel is quite huge with a lot of customers, everything at breakfast is well managed (no queue or shortage of food). Too many huge pools are available in the resort. Also, a long beach area is available. They are all well managed and fantastic. The staff is very friendly. I want to thank Paula and Anisun for being highly cooperative in showing us many room options before we finally settled.

Although the room is comfortable, the furniture in the room is quite old. I believe that a bit of redecoration can add more value. In the lunch buffet, There was a shortage in steak and chicken meat availability. The problem is that the restaurant has more than 200 visitors, and there are only two dishes (grillers) for steak. I tried many times to get pieces for my family and me but with no success. So, we paid a buffet price for vegetables and pizza. Otherwise, you need to wait in a long queue for 30 minutes. Therefore, the chief must run at least six grillers for such a huge visitors number.

We stayed in the Deluxe King Room with Garden view. The room was very clean, excellent to accommodate a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 young kids. There were a lot of guest due to the Holiday but there were more than enough facilities to go around. The room service was amazing and the dining experience for the Christmas Dinner was the highlight of the stay. The staff during breakfast were accommodating and were very kind and playful with the kids. We are already planning to go back.

The check-in and check-out was understandably chaotic due to the number of guests. There was a point that we were told that Check-in is on hold due to some IT issues. There was no update regarding the "IT" issue so we just randomly lined up not knowing if it was the line for check-out or in but got it done regardless.

We decided to take a Christmas break at the Doubletree by Hilton. Although the hotel was rather full, it certainly surprised us with the efficiency and ease the staff were able to handle the busy time: check-in was pretty quick considering the long queues, the main buffet restaurant was well organised and always ready to receive more guests - the tables were cleaned instantly, the buffet was constantly topped up with fresh food. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a lovely view of the bay. Even though there were evening activities and some noise in the evenings, at 10 pm it all ended and, to our surprise, it was absolutely quiet so we could get a decent sleep in our comfortable bed. We loved the spacious bathroom! The overall cleanliness of the room and facilities was great. Hotel facilities and activities were plentiful and they exceeded our expectations. This hotel was definitely a great value for money, we couldn't fault anything, had a fabulous Christmas break and would return again. Highly recommended.

There is no ATM in the hotel or anywhere in the area. The nearest one is in Hamra Mall and you'd need to pay 30 dirhams to get there by taxi. Taxis in RAK do not accept cards!

Facility was good, they have water slides for kids, table tennis, chess, volleyball and long tennis court available. The staff was friendly and approachable. Leisure swimming pools are available in various location. Jacuzzi, Sauna and stem is available in the spa area. The other good thing is reading lounge or family lounge are available where people can read or play indoor games like cards. Water sports are managed by third party and chargeable. Overall experience was pleasant and good.

Limited option available for Asian in breakfast. The chef informed that max visitors are European and Russian resulting in limited options for Asians. They did customize the menu but that too was not good, and it took min 30min to serve. Since the Resort is located in isolated area not opting for breakfast too is a problem (carry snacks with you). Room service is slow the cleaning of our room was done after 25min on giving them a reminder call.

staff service was great , everybody was friendly everywhere. Very nice place and very good for me who did the triathlon

front desk didnt explain well the full packages , i got one price the next day my wife was charged another price without understanding much what was the benefits, just she asked can i used it now to eat to the french restaurant but we have be rejected at the entrance because it was the brunch and we had to pay separate for it... was 2pm past so we wont pay to have just a main course and it was finishing at 4om anyway. but wasnt a big deal because other than this we were very well attended. Also maybe a commend on trimming the grass on Sunday maybe the bisuest time where people want to relax.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was lovely too. the swimming pool was huge with lots of sunbeds which is convenient. Breakfast was delicious and chef Sami was very attentive and friendly he made sure everything was set properly and asked everytime if we need anything.

i didnt like the dinner buffet. Our package was not all inclusive but we wanted to give it a try but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The food tasted so bland and most of the dishes was served cold. It was unacceptable for me since doubletree hilton resort is a 5 star I expected something with higher food quality.

*Most of the staff were very kind and supportive. *Many Facilities. *The room is big enough and has a balcony. *The food was delicious. *Room service. *Internet service was superfast with great coverage. *Taxi service. *Special appreciation to the following staff : Refaat, Aruuke, Genni, Jackson, Sidatha, and Jashim.

*Too crowded. *All inclusive service will start at 12 PM !!!. Should be 24 hours like other international hotels with all-inclusive service, especially with hot and cold drinks at least. *The room mini bar fridge is empty. Should have some all-inclusive stuff there. *No drinks are offered in all pools. Only on the main pools. *The spa prices are so expensive. Almost 500 Derham for each one hour service. *Room bath tools did not exist like toothbrushes. Just shampoo, conditioner, and showergel.

The hotel is beautiful, the view from the room was of the gardens, pools and beach, we stayed in one of the smaller building blocks 2.4 not the main hotel. The pool facilities were great, the kids loved the splash area and slides. I had 3 young children with me and they loved it! Breakfast was really good, lots of variety. Staff were lovely Our cleaner for room 2425 Hussain I think his name was, he was amazing. So friendly and really helpful. The beach was lovely, water was crystal clear. Location was great, we rented a car so drove to RAK city which was really nice and found lots to do for the kids. Al Hamra mall nearby is good if you’re looking for some fast food and a supermarket. Really impressive hotel The kids club was great, kids loved it, mini disco too. Staff were fab!

It was very busy but it was Eid time so it was expected. The lack of complimentary water in the rooms? 20dirham for a bottle of water is expensive and not what you expect in 40degree heat. Every other hotel I’ve stayed in usually provides a few free bottles of water per day. We went and bought a case of water bottles in the supermarket and used that instead, was cheaper.

Cheerful & friendly staff. Great Amenities. We love the floating sea pool, sauna, outdoor lounges. We're very happy to meet Chef Ramy who is so welcoming. He offered us appetising treats that made our buffet experience extra special. Concierge staff Lea is so sweet to indulge us with the delicious warm cookies. Thank you Hilton for the wonderful stay.

Maybe add some Japanese or Chinese cuisine in the international dinner buffet. Would love to start an earlier swim but pool still closed til 9am Maybe adults can enjoy the wavebreaker & floating wall climb?

Have been to many 5star hotels in UAE and was a bit sceptical due to the rating but was pleasantly surprised. Splash pad and bouncy castle were very nice and the room quite spacious and quiet. Friendly staff especially Aka at the beach bar and anchor bar. Restaurant was huge and could accommodate guests without waiting time even fully crowded.

Family pool very crowded and lack of sunbeds in peak times. There is a spacious kids' club but poorly equipped that is not appealing to kids. No underground parking. Shisha at Anchor was not nice. Not many amenities in the room as other 5star hotels.
