The check-in was so smooth. I didn't get the person's name but he made sure we got everything we need. Kudos to the staff who checked us in.

I requested water the next day however, the room service staff I spoke to said that we will be charged for the water. Normally, hotels will provide water bottles from the day you checked in and the day you checked out. This is the first time for me. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Room was spacious and clean. Fridge was a good size and worked properly . Towels for beach and room were large size which was great. Barbecue area was well lit with a variety of different grill stands to use. Large bags of ice is available and reasonably priced. Swimming pool was a good cool temperature. Overall we had a great stay ,minor issues but will definitely return .

Charging Dhs 4 for a 500ml bottle of water we felt was excessive pricing. We had an issue with ac water leaking in the bathroom from the ceiling however they were prompt to fix it . The shower also had a leakage . This we discovered after the ac leakage was fixed.

The hotel is very nice and has an old-fashioned charm. It is very quiet, with spacious rooms, and boasts a fantastic Indian restaurant. The location also offers an intriguing costal area where you can discover fascinating sea creatures.

It is located in an area with a low sea level, making swimming in the sea difficult. However, the hotel compensates with a nice swimming pool for guests to enjoy.

I have visited this facility after 20 years and I must say it has been a great experience. The reception and Check In is surely a 10/10, Anandu was very welcoming and informative ,exactly as I always say that a Guest Check person should be. The ambience was good , everything in the room was great.

The TV size being small and thats a personal weak point for me. :)

Needing a break to work quietly I decided to try the Barracuda. It was superb. Great value, clean room a nice terrace overlooking the pool, the grounds were great to walk in and the Biriyani Junction restaurant was excellent. My only criticism was the poor internet at 3mps download and less uploading meant having to delay sending work online. But despite that I will be back again and again and probably with the family. There is no beach as such but I looked at he cabanas by the lagoon side and they too are spacious and comfortable and with the famous wine shop just a walk away who wouldn't want to go there.

The place is basically the last wild west resort on the strip. Guests are free to get on with having fun and relaxing without scrutiny, uptight hotel staff or cameras up your nose - as long as you behave, and don't bother other guests. The cool thing is that I believe most people are multiple-return guests so they know the etiquette and we all get along pretty well. The amenities are great, the pool isn't heated like other hotels where they want you to boil slowly all day, and their policy towards outside food and beverages is open-door - after all, you're there for the accommodation, not an expensive restaurant dinner on-site. Thunder Road next door is great though, and don't worry about the price of the pizza, it's HUGE!

It's a pity about there being no beach, but if you don't think of it as a beach resort and focus on the pool you'll get by.

The location was great. We spent the day at Dreamland water park and the resort was less than a km away. Ameer at reception was very welcoming. The staff were very pleasant. Rooms were very well designed with modern touches. The pool was great and the restaurant had awesome views of the lagoon. The resort had a very nice ambience to it. We will definitely be back again!

There was no microwave in the room. I would suggest adding a small microwave for convenience. The kids play area needs an upgrade and maybe a sun shade.

Room was a good size and had everything that was needed. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Balcony was a lovely feature overlooking the pool which allowed more space and a place to sit outside. Room service prices are very reasonable.

Older resort so not everything is brand new and shiny- door was very difficult to close and lock securely.

The staff from check in to check out were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful and huge. Our room had a lovely large terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. The property was much better than I was anticipating. I really enjoyed our stay there and would stay again. The restaurant on site was also fantastic with a great atmosphere and the adjacent playground was great for my daughter to play while we ate - with a perfect view of her.

The terrace for our room had no furniture. The beach area was also lacking furniture and tidiness

The staff are very good . The hotel setup is very nice and the good thing is that you park next to your room. The cleanliness of the room is so good and comfy.

There was no varity of restaurants near by so either u eat from the restaurant there or drive like 30 min. Also sea is there but its not for swimming. But overall its nice hotel.
