Good location

Drinks expensive and some of the staff very rude, need to work on there customer service manners

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. Clean as a whistle and jam packed with amenities. From being greeted by the eponymous Hope at the seamless check in to being serenaded by Welsh elvis impersonators and a performer with an unrelenting zeel for singing pitch-perfect reggae under the setting Birmingham sun. Without a shed of doubt in our hearts, we felt like members of the Greenland's family. Whilst we may not cross paths again, like ships in the night, we will always have the memories.

A tad outside Birmingham but easy links via train/bus/Uber doesn't really make this an issue

Staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome Breakfast was lovely and very well priced. Room was clean and had all the usual amenities and beds were comfortable. Cheap and cheerful comes to mind

Bit noisy but it's a working pub with function room so to be expected. In fairness it didn't stop us sleeping! Could do with extra pillows for comfort

Breakfast was freshly cooked to order nice and hot and tasted lovely. Nice friendly atmosphere staff was welcoming . The whole venue was lovely and clean we would definitely recommend the Greenlands Inn and we would stay again next time we're in Birmingham.

Would of loved to of been able to make a coffee/ tea in our room as I wake very early.

Rooms where comfortable and clean downfall was the rail way noise and the civvy kick out on the street noise.

The staff where friendly, polite, great to get on with. Food was nice, not much of a wait, pints where fair priced atmosphere was great I got on with the locals aswell wich is always a bonus

I found my hotel room very clean and presentable. made to feel very welcome when I entered. definitely stay here again. Barely heard any noise from other rooms or even the function rooms. beautiful night sleep. My morning shower was amazing, lovely and warm.

the ONLY few things I didn’t like was there was only one small radiator in the room. I was also miss sold the early booking in fee of £20 when to be told I had to pay £30 instead.

Enjoyed my stay,staff very helpful and friendly and welcoming,I have extended my stay till the 12/19/24

All good but could do with lighting at the side of building (driveway to carpark)

As it was a Saturday evening when we stayed, the venue had a Dj in the bar downstairs so we enjoyed an evening of free entertainment whilst having a drink. Although, as the venue and bar downstairs are open to the public the rooms upstairs were directly above where the Dj was so if you wanted just a quiet evenings stay then the music would have been too loud. But we really enjoyed the Dj and the stay.

location was great, staff were lovely & friendly. bedroom was clean and comfortable The disco in the bar was brilliant, lots of Ska and reggae 😀. Full size snooker table & Pool table so the leisure facilities were excellent.

no tea coffee facility in the room and there was an outdoor bar/smoking area right outside our bedroom window, so it got a bit noisy late on into the evening.

The location is brilliant for public transport access to both Edgbaston cricket ground (bus) and the city centre (train). There's plenty of on-site parking. The room had comfortable beds and a good roomy shower.

They need to provide towel rails or hooks - there's nowhere to put a damp towel. Also, unsurprisingly, when there's a function on, you do hear the noise...but as long as you know that before booking (and they do tell you in the small print) it's OK by me.
