Central location, fantastic old building, quirky with narrow staircase and uneven floor in our room, room 2. Loved the fact that the accommodation had its own locked entrance and was not accessible via the bar, making it very private and secure. The room was over the bar, but the bar closed early evening, so there was no noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Really can't think of anything that was much of a problem. No breakfast or parking, but wasn't an issue as we parked just across the road and there was also a building opposite that provided a lovely breakfast, literally just a stones throw away.

We were early but were able to check in without a problem. Enjoyed a nice pub lunch in the outside space overlooking the river Severn. The location close to the cable/cliff rail system is great but we walked up to High Town. Nice staff and a friendly clientele made it a pleasant stay.
With no onsite parking you need an app (MiPermit) to pay for the morning (after 8am the parking needs to be paid for). The rooms are small but that was not unexpected and it's fine for a short stay in Bridgnorth. Steep, narrow stairs to the upper floors would make a large suitcase difficult. People with mobility issues would find it unsuitable.

Such a lovely old historic place, we really enjoyed it. Other guests were noisy however this isn’t the fault of Bassa Villa but guests with less respect for others. The only thing was- I did book & pay for the room with the river view which we didn’t get and I should have mentioned it. However my man was happy in the end as I think the room we should have had may be one of the haunted rooms :-) it may be worth mentioning the Percy House Tearoom upon arrival for guests to grab a breakfast as we wished we would have known this information at the start of the stay. It doesn’t stand out as we walked past it many times. Other than this our stay was thoroughly enjoyed x the room was warm, shower was hot, very cosy
Nothing it was lovely. We hope to try a pizza next time.

Fantastic location , great staff, and stunning views. Delicious cold pint. I didn't eat, but there were plenty of people who looked to be enjoying their food.
The bathroom door in room 1 was extremely noisy to open and close. The room was very warm with no fan to cool down with. My partner picked up a towel in the morning after a shower, and there was a clump of hair stuck to it. There is no wifi signal in the room. A fridge would have been nice, but the room facilities did not express one, so not the properties wrong. All in, I would return but ask for a different room.

Clean and tidy room with a lovely view. Very quaint and cozy. Excellent friendly service. Great location right next to the cliff railway/bridge. Drinks in the pub were cheaper than I’m used to and it doesn’t stay open too late so didn’t disturb our sleep. Good value for money overall
One light in the bathroom didn’t work and the other would flicker on and off randomly. Wi-Fi is temperamental. Neither of these huge problems though

Despite the name, this is more like a classic traditional pub, with a friendly, atmospheric bar, The accommodation also has a lovely "olde-worde" feel about it. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help me with a car parking problem
Car parking can be a problem., virtually all the available parking around the pub is residents permit holders only, with one tiny "pay and display" car park nearby which holds about 5 cars! Although, as in my case, the staff will do their best to help you resolve this. My room was very comfortable including excellent en-suite facilities and tea and coffee making, but on the down side, in the evening it did suffer a bit with music being audible from the bar directly below, but thankfully this was not too excessive.

This was a lovely atmospheric old hotel with white walls and oak beams. Great location and local legends to boot. Breakfast wasn't included but a short walk up the hill takes you to various eateries. Limited parking for six cars by the hotel, otherwise the nearest car park is just a five minute walk away. Great location for local attractions and the town itself is lovely. The staff were wonderfully friendly and it was great to enjoy a drink in the garden overlooking the river. It's dog friendly too.

The old world charm. Built in 1591. Great location next to the river. Had a bar and good food under apartment. Friendly staff. Hard to fault given age of building. We had the family room and great value for the experience.
Nothing really. Very steep stairs to loft apartment but part of the charm. Had to park several streets away but expected in this old world charming town.

Beautiful old traditional pub with accommodation. Very well maintained given it's age. Great location for a night out in Bridgnorth. Nice Guinness and good prices for Bridgnorth. This is our second visit and will definitely visit again!
Rooms are old so allow for the uneven floors in the bedrooms . Stairs curvy and narrow, had a laugh manoeuvring our way up at the end of the night. Not so much of a dislike just thought it should be mentioned so people know what to expect! Personally we loved it all.

Great for the olde worlde experience. Uneven floors and walls, lots of history and right on the river. Very friendly staff. Beds really comfortable
A lot of noise can be heard due to being an old building which is to be expected, may not suit some. No heating on the nightime, bit cold. Lose toilet seat and shower not very powerful, but didn't cause massive issues and can be expected in somewhere so old. No ghosties seen !!!!! Disappointed to be fair, but probably relieved also......
