Great location for Temple Meads train station and the Marble Factory (venue) for gig we were attending. Added bonus caught the water bus from Temple pier along to City Centre for some dining and drinking enjoyment. Hotel was very clean, quiet and good breakfast.

My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Good selection of food and drinks at the breakfast buffet. Hours to eat were also suitable for my needs as an early riser. Very nice and helpful staff and extremely easy and fast check in /check out.

The view from my room was quite bad, since there was an office building opposite of the street. Had to close the curtains when I was in the room because otherwise the people working could watch me. And in the night there was still a light on in the office building, so never really dark. On my last morning the breakfast area floor was a little dirty with breadcrumbs from the night/day before.

My only problem was finding the hotel! Only a 2-mil Ute walk but it took me 20 minutes to find it, so clean instructions from the train station would have been useful. ‘Go out of the front of the station and TURN RIGHT. Don’t go straight ahead! Leave by the Temple Gate exit and turn go through the car park and turn right again. The pedestrian path takes you over the river. Go straight across the road and the Ibis is in the road in front of you’

I had a short overnight stay in between a late night flight and a train home the next morning. My flight was delayed and so I arrived after 1am but check in was quick and easy and the staff member on duty was pleasant and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable if a little basic, but the bed was comfortable which was all that I was concerned about! The bathroom was like stepping into a caravan bathroom which was a little strange but the shower worked well. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options and so I had a very good meal before my train home. Access to the railway station was a very simple and quick couple of minutes walk away.

I booked the hotel because of its location-needed an overnight stay between flying into Bristol airport at mid-night and catching a Cross-country train early morning. It worked brilliantly - took the A1 Flyer bus at mid-night after arrival, 20' into Bristol Temple meads, 7 min walk to reach the property to find someone preparing for my arrival at the reception, as they have received my 'special request' of late arrival on booking.com. Room was bigger than I expected. Bathroom very tight but functional. Room was clean and well-organised. Left for the 8 am train and the platform was just 10' away. Very good experience.

Very comfortable stay for three nights. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. Close to Temple Meads station.

Building works outside are only a minor inconvenience but made Google maps go crazy and misdirect us (on foot). Seemed a bit shortstaffed, although the staff who were there were friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast once, on the final day, and did not go down until 9.50, and it closes at 10, The hot food was pretty well uneatable by then. Next time we will pay more attention to the timing. Convenient for Temple Meads means a longer walk to most parts of town - but as we wanted to get to know the city, this was fine for us. Good pub nearby - the Barley Mow - good food and good beer!

Love the hallways they felt very clean and modern. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfy. Loved the bathroom, and the shower cubicle was a brilliant size. Great location for work and train station. Was pleased to see they had gluten-free options on the restaurant menu (although we didn't eat there)

Figuring out the light switches was a bit hit and miss, and the step up into the bathroom could cause someone to trip in the night. When I checked in I asked if a receipt could be sent to me as I needed it for work, I was simply told to ask again in the morning. It would have been nice for them to say they'd make a note for tomorrow and do it after I'd checked out

3rd time we stayed here… but why this time was I chased for arrival time!! I completed on original booking and again on pre check in I would be there between 10pm and 11pm as coming from Bristol airport… so when I landed at Bristol airport had a missed phone call from the hotel at 6.46 hrs … when I arrived at hotel at 10pm just like I said I would !!! When I asked at the desk why they had the called they said yes as they thought I was a no show …got the impression they were going to give my room away!!!

The hotel made contact after booking to offer an accessible room for my husband who has issues with his mobility. Location once we found the hotel was superb. Reception and bar staff were very helpful. The food at the bar was reasonably priced and nice.

The room was missing a few things considering the price per night. No toilet brush a big no no. Nets at the windows would mean you didn’t have to draw the curtains as people could see in. Two comfortable chairs would have made the room more comfortable. Some biscuits with the tea and coffee just little finishing touches would make this hotel excellent in our eyes. We were facing the building work and as luck would have it there was no work the weekend we were there but I would image that could cause some issues for people staying.

Lovely comfortable room within walking distance of Temple Meads train station and The Marble Factory for a gig. I felt safe and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of choice. Although the hotel had scaffolding on it, this didn't cause any problem with noise, and this had been advised at booking. Thank you for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel.
