The hotel is well positioned, right next to Cabot Circus mall. The parking area is only a short walk away. Many eateries nearby. Public transport is not an issue too as the bus to London city is about a 15 minute walk.
Would be excellent to have the back part of the hotel be converted to a parking area.

The location was amazing. Room was a good size, very clean and tidy. large tv. Shower pressure was fantastic. Bed was comfortable, though the pillows were a little thin, so doubled up (lots provided). Refreshments were great, bottled water, tea and coffee! Maybe a little more shower gel could be provided? but it did smell nice. Free parking, saved me around 60 quid in parking (20 per day). Staff were very friendly and helpful!
TV was good quality, but rubbish limited Freeview channels, no way to cast to the tv, no additional apps like netflix etc. Not a lot can be done about this as was in the city centre and alongside a main road. But was frustrating being awoken by noisy cars screaming past. Parking is inside the low emission zone. offset by the fantastic location and if you have a modern car, no issue.

Superb location, right in the heart of the city with everything at your fingertips. Our room was clean and clean smelling, with a huge bed and TV and the usual tea, coffee, etc. We parked in Cabot Circus car park which was included in the price, and it was super easy to get to the hotel from the car park as it was well signposted. The staff were very welcoming, gracious, and helpful. Breakfast, also included, was very tasty and cooked well. Full selection of cooked and continental choices too, nice strong coffee. It was a birthday weekend and we were visiting SWX for a show, so this hotel was really convenient for us. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Storm Bert!! Rain, wind and flooded roads. The Hotel was superb!

The location is amazing. We drove in to Bristol on the M32 (after coming off the M4) and the Future Inn is just off it - no getting lost. The free car parking next door is also brilliant and so convenient. The hotel is right in the centre of Bristol so you have lots of restaurants on your doorstep in the Cabot Circus centre (just across the road from the hotel). The hotel buffet breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere - attentive, welcoming staff, a wide choice of delicious food and drink including non-dairy milks, and the staff cleared plates as we finished with them so you were not surrounded by tables of dirty plates and cups. The room itself was a decent size and clean. We were in Bristol for the University open day and the hotel’s location was perfect for walking to the campus. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
I would have liked the choice of decaffeinated coffee at breakfast but this is a minor niggle.

Brilliant location, clean and comfortable. The ladies cleaning the rooms were great, they were very efficient, courteous cheerful, and generally very pleasant.
I did not appreciate having a room for the disabled, absolutely no need for it at all, I may be elderly but I’m not informed! I’ve been staying at this hotel for a number of years and never had problems booking in, it’s normally slick and trouble free. However on this occasion it was terrible! First of all the chap on the desk said I was on the system! I produced my reservation reference but that wasn’t enough. I produced my receipt of payment of nearly £600 and still he wasn’t convinced I had rooms booked, eventually he found the bookings, it took over 15 minutes and I found it quite embarrassing as it was quite busy in reception, not a pleasant experience. It’s never happened before, normally the reception staff are excellent. He was not helpful and near as damn it obnoxious!

Great location. Right opposite Cabot circus. Currently free to park in the multistorey carpark. Good sized room. Cosy bedding and we really appreciated the aircon which worked really well. Having a Tv was good as we were not out late but would appreciate being able to use some TV apps like netflix maybe as channels were basic. Glad of the blackout curtains in the room and the hotel lifts. Definitely stay again.
The staff didn't seem particularly happy. Checked us in with a very professional manner but no smile, no "welcome to..." no chat at all. We were exhausted on our first day so slept in a little that first morning. We had a note under our door, before 10am saying "you had your do not disturb sign up, so ring down on the room phone if you need any supplies". The room phone didn't work and we've never had that before. It was not a cheap stay so would expect, like elsewhere, that they would come back later. We had to ask at reception for the room to please be made up and on our return, it had been. Window wasn't soundproof, so you can hear the busy road but this did not bother us, might bother others. Mattress had definitely seen better days.

The booking system through booking.com went wrong and had my child registered at 0 years old. The hotel set up a cot for us. I called reception and explained the issue and that I had called when the booking was made to try and rectify the issue. The hotel staff explained that housekeeping had left, they resolved the situation by upgrading us to a different room. The staff were efficient, polite and thoughtful despite the issue not being their fault. The breakfast was as expected in hotel's but with made to order items as a lovely bonus.
Personal preference. The mattresses are too hard. None of my family slept well.

Great room, big enough but not too big. Enormous bed, mattress seemed soft when sat on but was very comfy to sleep on. Great air con. Mirror at dressing table, and hairdryer in room. Good wardrobe and drawer space. Room service is available although we didn't try it. Two handy plug sockets by one side of the bed. Good TV. Ironing board and iron in room too. The bottomless buffet breakfast was delicious, loads of options available, plus good gluten free options, and you could hang around at the table as long as you wished. We were with friends and spent ages chatting! Location is superb, in a quieter part but very close to many restaurants and shops; and car parking in the Cabot Circus car park next door being included saved us £40 for 2 nights. We'd definitely stay again if in the area.
No plug sockets or light controls on the right hand side of the bed. Could do with a bit more lighting in the room as it's spot lit and therefore focused on certain areas only. The shower cubicle is great, really spacious, and water pressure and heat brilliant, but the shower holder can only be moved up and down, the angle cannot be adjusted, so it just sprays straight in your face no matter how high you move it! Also nowhere to hang towels whilst in use, only the towel rack which was too far from the shower to reach. Silly things but they become irritating when the rest is very good. The room is probably due a bit of an update but was fine for us.

We usually stay at The Marriott in Bristol when we visit but we stayed here this week so we could go to the NYE party with family. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the change but honestly I was so impressed!! The staff here put the staff at The Marriott to shame! They can’t do enough for you and go above and beyond (and with a smile)! The location is unbelievable if it’s shopping you want from your stay. You literally cross over the road and you’re in Cabot Circus with all its amazing shops and restaurants. The comfort of the beds is the only thing I wish was better. However, when I spoke to reception about it the following day, they sent a thin second firm mattress to my room and it was a game changer! It’s good value for money too and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Future Inn and your staff are a credit to you!
The mattresses were too soft.

The staff were the best part of the stay. They were really friendly, professional and always made sure everything was good with meals, rooms etc. and they were willing to go the extra mile for you. The room was really comfortable and the food in the restaurant was lovely.
only issue wasd that i couldn't get the tv to work. although i probably could have resolved this if I asked a member of staff! that one is on me! One other guest was really rude to a particular member of staff during breakfast on Saturday, but that guest was being just plain unreasonable. The member of staff was clearly rattled and didn't deserve to be treated like that and I hope he is ok. But i cannot fault the members of staff they were all great.
