Nice modern hotel with its own theme and great staff. Bar, Restaurant and reception area is really nice. Nice cocktails at the bar. Room was good too. Good location as it’s in town and opposite the shopping centre and cinema etc
On booking.com it says this hotel has parking but it doesn’t. You can park in the shopping centre carpark which is across the road and a 5 minute walk. Then the hotel gives you a 30% reduction on the parking cost. But that is not onsite parking as implied in the hotel review. Also beware of the really thin toilet roll 😉

The hotel is very close to the centre (like less than a 5 minute walk) and the coach station is easily walked to as well. The hotel had good aircon that was very appreciated during the hot weather, tho sadly the temperature did not go beyond 20°C and and someone who does it comfortably warm it was a bit fresh at times. The staff was also always very nice, kind and accommodating. Due to the staff being more on the younger side (some being around my age) I felt very comfortable and had no issue bringing something up with them despite my social anxiety!
Sadly it was quite loud when other guests flushed their toilet- almost always being audible in my room even with the bathroom door shut. However, I did get used to it quite fast. Also, since the hotel is close to the centre, decently close to a hospital, and right by a busy street there were a lot of sirens from ambulances and police outside which I did also get used to quite fast.

Very clean, good location, right next to Cabot Circus. Dog-friendly, made my puppy felt really welcomed. Relaxing lounge and bar area. Overall really happy with our stay and would certainly return.
Housekeeping - The room that was first assigned to us was not cleaned. We were then given a different room which was great, but housekeeping was not done the next day. Parking - There is no on-site parking, but there is a 30% discount for parking at the Cabot Circus shopping centre carpark. We were lucky to find a space on the ground floor nearest to the exit closest to the hotel.

Firstly, I almost couldn't contain my excitement when we arrived and the reception & bar area were decorated for Halloween 🎃! We were checked in quickly by friendly staff & offered a lower floor room as I am disabled. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed & pillows were comfy, the TV worked well & despite being next to the main road, we couldn't hear it! I liked that there's a sensor activated light under the bed so I didn't have to turn on a main light when I got up in the night, so I didn't disturb my husband too much. We went to the bar before going out and were given a free cocktail, which was a lovely touch, I really enjoyed sitting in the spooky theme soaking up the atmosphere. The buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious, best pain au chocolat I think I've ever had! The location was perfect for what we needed. We parked directly across the road in Cabot Circus car park, we pre booked with just park which was £11 for 19 hours overnight. There's a crossing right by the Moxy.
There are only two teeny tiny things that made our stay not 100% but it wouldn't stop us from staying again. First the shower was really weak and the shower hose wouldn't stay in place so was at a weird angle. Secondly, we needed to get the lift to the first floor to our room, to use the lift, you need to place your card key on a panel and press the required floor button at the same time...due to my disability, I only have one available arm to use,so I couldn't do this, meaning I was unable to use the lift independently. Thankfully I had my husband with me. However, as I said, all in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Moxy.

I liked everything about the hotel - especially the quality, the location, the decor, the comfort and quietness of the room, the cleanliness, the games facilities in the bar and the amazing breakfasts.
There was nothing I did not like, although if I was to be picky I would say there was nowhere to hang towels apart from a tiny radiator above the toilet. The breakfast room was so busy on Sunday morning we had to wait for a table, and when we got one it wasn't cleared the whole time we were there. We were also unable to avail ourselves of the discount on two cocktails early on Saturday evening, because we wanted the gin one and were told there wasn't enough gin left to make two! Everything else was perfect though.

A friendly welcome when we first arrived with a free cocktail. Fresh, quirky decor and lovely chilled atmosphere. Clean, comfortable room with very good sound-proofed windows! Especially impressed with the options for breakfast with lots of added extras to sprinkle on your cereal/muesli! Options for vegan and gluten free with clear labelling to let you know what you could have depending on your dietary requirements. There is even a toaster for gluten free bread showing that the hotel is pretty clued up on these things. Attentive and helpful "crew" and "crew leaders".
It might be helpful if the air conditioning could go slightly lower so that you can keep the windows closed on warmer evenings (to keep out the road noise).

Loved the whole vibe of the place and that even though the bar and reception was a hive of activity, when I got to my room I felt peaceful and able to un-wind. The decor throughout was awesome. From checking in to popping down for a drink the staff were amazing. Friendly, Chill and happy to help. I love that you have a running club on the sat morning. Breakfast was lovely and the check out was a decent hour for once! I've actually booked Moxy for my trip to Tromso in Norway next year :-)
This is very much nit picking but it took a while to check in even though it was 9pm. I don't think there were enough staff to man the bar and check in...but also there were a few people checking in and all were going to the Festival the next day so it's probably a one off

Great layout in the room and thoroughly enjoyed laying on my comfortable bed and sumptuous fluffy pillows looking out of the window. I very much enjoyed my time alone in the gym and used the free weights, running machine, cross trainer and also did a spot of boxing. Breakfast was enjoyable as I could help myself to a healthy continental breakfast and hot coffee. I even sat at the bar in the evening after popping out for dinner and drank my free cocktail
I wasn’t sure where to park as I thought it had free parking so ended up driving around looking for off road parking nearby. Traffic busy so not a location one can pootle about looking for something.

This is my third stay in a Moxy, and they are nicely decorated, excellent value for money, comfortable and they have some great perks that set them apart - Smart TVs you can stream netflix, Spotify etc from your phone with absolute ease and decent Wi-Fi to stream from too! Staff are friendly, and helpful and all the moxy hotels I have stayed in have been the same. A great franchise when it comes to knowing what you will get!
There was no fridge in our room, no plug close to the kettle and the parking isn't included or on site. But these are all super minor things that were easily solved. They also offer complimentary welcome drinks which are a nice gesture, but I think I would have preferred to not have it!

We stayed in a family room, which was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. The bed and bedding were really comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from. The staff were lovely and really helpful. I used the gym both mornings and had it to myself.
The following points didn't spoil our stay. The room had a few patches of dirt in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned properly. Tea and coffee weren't replenished the next day. Location is on a very busy main road, but it's fairly central.
