Well furnished clean rooms. Very helpful & friendly staff. Hotel is well located to the town centre and beach. Beds were very comfortable and the shower / bathroom was very well kept & stocked up.

Hotel was going under a major renovation so that there was a lot of noise and rolls of carpet to negotiate. Exterior was covered in scaffold and car park at the rear needs a good tidy up.

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast was worthble for the money we paid . The staff were friendly and helpful. location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre My self and my patrner were extremely satisfied by staying in these hotel

Overall, my stay at Carlton hotel was pleasant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, Newly refurbished rooms were modern and inviting witha refreshing sea view from the window and the check-in process was smooth. The room was very clean and comfortable with good bedding , providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast were more satisfied in my stay. The location was convenient just perfect for a walk around the city centre with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options.Additionally,the free carpark was incredibly convenient I highly recommend seeking a delightful stay at Carlton hotel again in the future. The Carlton Hotel boasts an excellent location along the picturesque coastline, offering breathtaking views. The management and staff are exceptionally welcoming, ensuring guests feel at home. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate special requests. The hotel's common areas are spotless, and we were thoroughly impressed with the room’s cleanliness and the well-maintained bathroom. The room itself was spacious, with a stunning scenic view that enhanced our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend The Carlton Hotel to anyone visiting Folkestone to experience the charm and beauty of this historic town.

The place has an old-style interior architecture design but has recently been renovated; it's a lovely and interesting combination of old and modern. The room I was in had also a fresh paint and was clean and so was the bathroom. The lounge and dining area are very nice.

The bathroom was a little bit smelly. Probably it was coming from the drain, so I would think a good flush with some cleaning agent would do some good. And this system with the two separate faucets on the bathroom sink for hot and cold water is also something I'll never get used to.

The manager & staff made us very welcome and we were delighted with our room which was upgraded to a sea view free of charge. The room was clean and well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. We were also given a quiet room as requested. This hotel is in an amazing position up on the Leas in Folkestone and the price per night was exceptionally good value. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning when we next visit Folkestone. Thank you :)

There wasn't anything to dislike!

The staff was excellent, especially the young gentleman at check in who was professional and knew how to take care of a customer. There was a problem with the shower and he arranged a new room immediately. The hotel location is excellent, providing both sea views and easy access to the amenities of the town.

Small issues that are inevitable given the age of the building. The plumbing can be inconsistent. But the staff are great at helping make things work.

I had a fantastic stay at the Carlton Hotel, enjoying the newly decorated rooms and a stunning sea view. The bedding was clean and incredibly comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Contrary to some reviews I saw, there was hot water throughout my stay, and the showers were excellent. I was thoroughly pleased with my experience and will definitely choose the Carlton Hotel again for my next visit. Thanks for the excellent accommodation and care
