29/12/2024. We had a problem with the iPad and TV . We contacted reception and almost immediately two male staff members came to the room to try and fix the problem. The two staff were extremely courteous and polite and chatted with us. They managed to move us to another room across the hall and assisted us to move things and ensure the keys for the new room were programmed and working. We got the name of one staff member called Taylor but didn't get the name of the senior staff member. Please pass on our sincere thanks to the two staff members from us in room 642 originally room 643( tech issues room). Both these guys are a credit to the hotel brand and we will definitely stay here again when in Glasgow. The reception staff were also kind and helpful and all that said we had a great trip.

Stay here everytime we visit Glasgow and every single time we are impressed. The bed is very large and extremely comfortable, the shower is superb. Love that you control your room from an IPAD and can change the colours in the shower. The room was extremely clean and well looked after. We had the option to choose which room we would like and at what floor level giving us an option to see the courtyard or the city we always choose the city to see the lights and the views. The staff are super friendly and always have a chat with us making us feel very welcome. There isn't anywhere else we would stay and we love Citizen M. ❤️

We stayed Saturday- Tuesday, we checked in at the self check in desk but there was a member of staff on hand to help us and direct us where to go. The hotel WiFi was great and noticed alot of people using it for work on the week day mornings in the quiet lobby with facilities to do so. Our room was much bigger than expected we were given a disability room and it was fabulous, very clean I could control the heat/ cold of the room, lights, tv, blinds and curtains all though an easy accessible iPad in the room

Only downfall I couldn’t fully turn the ac off completely (possibly could may have just been I couldn’t find it) but that is very minor you can’t even hear it in the room

Very nice hotel with a good concept. The staff were friendly and helpful and made my stay welcoming. Lots of good facilities at the hotel., including a great bar and nice coffee. Very nice buffet breakfast as well.

The bed was not comfortable and even a little too large, spanning the width of the room. The edges of the bed up against the walls were dirty and needed scrubbing and a clean. Maybe even in need of updating/ replacement. The showers were run down and needed updating too. Mine had rust on the rails and above the curtain, which needed cleaning. The floors were worn and spotty and the hose connection had come out from the wall.

Simple check in, comfortable bed, really nice lounge areas to sit and relax in, friendly/helpful staff.

Breakfast was nice but overpriced when you consider it's a fiver more per person than a Premier Inn breakfast, and double a Weatherspoon's breakfast. Also, as trendy and fun as the en-suite in the room was (with different colour lights) and the shower was great, the fact the wall and door is all glass means the room isn't sealed off, so all the heat and steam from the shower gets into the bedroom, not to mention there's no privacy wen it comes to the audio aspect of using the toilet. The i-pad controls for the room didn't give a numeric level for the temperature, so despite saying it was cooling down there was no way to know if or how much the temperature dropped. Given that the windows don't open either, it felt a bit too warm in the room at times.

Check-in fine till computer wouldn't accept my card, had to resort to manual EFTPOS Everything in room controlled by iPad which wouldn't charge. Despite phone call to ? reception, was never sorted. Had to charge via our own phone cables. Eventually found multiple ways of switching most things on or off but very non-intuitive. Not all lights had manual switches. Bar menu bit out of date. Lot of things were unavailable or discontinued. The room was slightly too small. Little space to put suitcases. Generally I was perfectly happy, but there seemed to be a use of technology for technology 's sake not because it made things better. Your ambassador/receptionist, who was delightful by the way, was having to work way too hard, which would suggest that not everything was working as planned

As they have a tablet to manage everything in the room, we read the instructions on it, but what was our surprise to find that the first day they didnt do the room, no bed made, no towels changed. So I complaint about that to the staff, BECAUSE the tablet says that: -if you dont like to have the room done say it to us, so that we donate 3 pounds to charity-. We didnt touch that point of the tablet so the real thing should have been to have our room done, not the other way round. When I complaint the employee at around 1p.m, he just sent someone to change the towels BUT even then they didnt made the bed.

Hotel was really well laid out and modern and fun. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You felt that the staff enjoyed working there. I liked the check in process and the options of choosing rooms on certain floors/view. Bed was massive and super comfy, liked the options of blackout blinds and day blinds. There is really nice lounge and co working spaces so think this is great for business and leisure breaks.

I didn't realise you had to request a room clean on the iPad in the room, which meant we missed out, but reception did bring anything we needed. There are no kettles or options to make a hot drink in the room or public areas which I think would have brought the rating up a little. .

I have always enjoyed returning to the CitizenM Hotel in Glasgow. The rooms are great, ideal for a single user but comfortable for two. I encountered an issue when ordering breakfast through the mobile app, so I went downstairs to reception, and the staff quickly resolved it. The staff is excellent, and so is the breakfast. It's a great place to take a laptop and do your work.

It takes a bit to get to sleep. The noise from air conditioning in the toilet at night makes it hard to go to sleep. I could not turn it off. Maybe bring earplugs.

Stayed here to celebrate my birthday solo and was very pleasantly surprised. Had always wanted to stay when passing as it looks so cool and it really was a lovely stay. So I decided to treat myself and I'm so glad I did. Lovely big comfy bed, funky mood lighting, very clean and lots to look at in the common areas. The rainfall shower was brilliant and every staff member was super nice to me. Felt a bit sad celebrating a birthday solo but Citizen M made it so special, I had a blast and didn't want to check out! Thank you for your hospitality and I will definitely see you again soon :) ps big thanks to "Jen" for the drink and the birthday card, it was much appreciated!
