Staff were outstanding- always friendly, bright, happy, over the top helpful. Thank you fellow Aussie Marianne- especially welcoming and a total delight.

Only thing- iPad light control prevented bedside lighting for book reading in bed. Not good for partner who had to endure full lighting. Also- hottest day in Glasgow history and no access to fan, window opening of a night ( probably a good thing during long daylight hours), or air conditioning. Were unable to cool the room at all.

Welcome when we arrived. We arrived early, it’s self check in but someone was there to assist and were told our room was not ready but we could store our bags until we returned. Modern hotel, clean rooms.

Option for the room to be made up! I appreciate/understand the global crisis and saving the planet but it was a little disappointing to come back from a long day and the room was the same as it was left. Part of what you are paying for is to have that luxury of returning to a clean made up room.the wow factor again when you walk in.

The central location and very convenient for transport links. The decor is quirky and cool. The communal areas were attractive and comfortable. Huge bed. Internet was really good. I liked being able to cast from my phone to the TV in my room. (Netflix) The staff are polite, attentive, helpful and very cheerful. I had the impression that they were genuinely happy at their work. A fine example of how staff should be in the hospitality industry.

I’d like coffee making facilities in my room. I would have liked a wider selection in the cooked breakfast offering. But what was available was good.

Being able to pay for a few items of breakfast rather than all or nothing was so good. Really loved the avocado, smoked salmon options. The bar / communal areas are so refreshing and modern with a great relaxed vibe. Which the staff also had. It was so nice to have areas to sit and relax/ work without having to go straight to our room.

The ensuite showers/toilet...I travelled with my daughter, and neither of us enjoyed the fact that you could see the outline of each other in the shower. The curtain partition should have gone the full length of the room to give privacy in the shower. It wasn't very soundproof.

The location was excellent, the hotel was very clean and had a nice bar/lounge/work area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

While operating the Media with the mini iPad seems cool in fact its a pain in the rump. the iPad is slick and hard to hold. The iPad in our room keep losing connectivity with the TV requiring you to turn off TV and wait a while before resuming. Fortunately there was a standard TV remote in room. Controlling the blinds/curtains, which seemed to be labeled backwards was not as finely controlled as you would like. Similar comment applies to wall switches for this purpose.

I was a bit unsure when I read about the self check in but there was still staff around that were really friendly and helpful. It was quite nice the self check in as I got to add any extras such as late check out but also chose if we wanted city view or courtyard view or to be up low or high within the building. The room was cool using the IPad to control the lights, blinds etc., the bed was massive and I’m disappointed to come home to my small bed. I was a little unsure of the bathroom being a glass pod in our bedroom as I’ve stayed at a hotel with this before but it was poorly ventilated but this one was amazing and had a rainfall shower which also was amazing. We will definitely be back! The whole hotel was very stylish, the bar on the first floor had a great selection of drinks at a reasonable price and the bar staff were super friendly. I also thought a nice touch was you get to keep your key card as it’s reusable. The next time we stay we can bring our card to scan and it will link our new booking up to the card.

The only issues were the IPad stopped working on the morning of the check out which means my partner could not control stuff in the room.

Perfect breakfast. ***** Salmon and capers, proper coffee, and lovely overnite porridge. Good location to see Glasgow for few days. Had a room from backside of the hotel, very peacefull.

Wi-fi problems, tv and streaming from you own apps didn't work, a lot of nonsense from that. Tv channels very limited from Smart TV because of that. And, well, that "mood selection" in the room, with different lights----felt kinda airport capsules sleeping spots. And the carpets outside rooms, looked not cleaned. This expensive hotel should put all the details spot on. And staff, please Citizen M bosses: give them some reason to smile more. The flow of everything together is the feeling we remember!

The staff where all great especially the bar staff which was both of there first nights were so lovely, there name was Karli.

The whole experience was great, staff were lovely and really helpful apart from one specific lady who worse glasses, I’m not sure but she may have been the manager as she was wearing a different uniform but I might be wrong, me and my mum were having a lovely night and drinking cocktails not causing any problems, and towards the last order I asked the lady if we could order a cocktail and the lady told me and my mum to walk towards her and do a dance to test how sober we both were, me and my mum were so embarrassed and humiliated, my mum was very upset and unfortunately the experience would’ve been better if wasn’t for her, I tried to get her name but I couldn’t. I hope she doesn’t do this to any other member of public as this was really uncalled for.

The property has a great artistic character. Very organised, welcoming and attractive. Very impressed with the art decor, the sitting, lounge and eating space. Hotel looks very inviting.

The fact that there was a wash hand sink in the bedroom . S room was a bit award. The pillows were positioned where there was no headboard 🤔 headboard was by the window. We had to rest pillows on headboard and watch tv sideways. Also lamps In strange places. Not enough hanging space for jackets. Shower was good, straight forward and easy to operate was strange.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city center which made it easier for me to roam around the city. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out process was very fast and convinient. The room had an ipad through which I was able to control the lighting, blinds, curtains and Tv. Moreover the lobby is quite modern with a lot of cool photography and paintings.

To my surprise no condiments such as water, coffee sachets and tea bags or an electric kettle was provided. The room was a bit too tiny for the amount paid.
