I booked 4 rooms at the apex for a family Christmas get together. So glad we booked here hotel is amazing, and this is down to all the staff that work here who are brilliant and make this hotel, they treat there guests brilliantly and cant do enough for you, from reception staff to restaurant/bar area all great people, Damien and dark hair girl on check in sorry can’t remember your name, Emma, natalia i, I requested all our rooms be close to each other and they fulfilled that by putting us all next door to each other, rooms were spotless so clean, Beds comfy spacey rooms,food in the bar was amazing so tasty and big portions, we will definitely be back next year and going to book a duplex room . Situated in a fantastic location in Bath Street, this hotel is within easy walking distance of everything Glasgow has to offer. On arrival we were greeted at reception by Oisin who was a brilliant ambassador for the hotel & a real credit to the hospitality industry. Once checked in we arrived at our room, which was bigger than anticipated. The bed was large & most importantly comfortable. The room was decorated to a high standard & the bathroom with walk in shower perfect. The hotel toiletries were lovely & the towels plush. The added addition of “Rennie” the duck as a little souvenir was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be booking The Apex again. Loved it.

The only thing that was missing for me was a dining experience at the hotel itself. We ate out locally. They do offer breakfast however. To order a drink it’s done via an app. Missing a trick with an actual bar.

In keeping with all my visits to Apex hotels the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (from cleaners to front desk and restaurant staff). They were all a delight to deal with. The duplex room was really nice, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The room facilities were very good. Breakfast was great. There was a limited buffet service of pastries, fruit, cold cuts, cheese, juices and yoghurts in addition to a cook to order menu. The hotel is well located and convenient for the city centre attractions and a short stroll to Central station.

There was a bit of noise coming from the street in the early hours but it was limited and didn't cause me any hassle.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at in Glasgow City centre I cannot fault anything I told them when I booked it that it was my partners birthday and they did not disappoint. So clean and spacious well situated and the reception staff sonny especially were amazing 10 out of 10 will definitely be back thank you for making my partners birthday night away special. Also the price of the room for a Friday night was great. I cannot put into words how much we enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Amazing hotel, clean, spacious, rooms were large and with excellent facilities, super friendly and helpful staff. For me personally I like that the bathrooms had full size bottles of products available (always forget mine) and they had proper shampoo and conditioner... Not that all in 1 rubbish. Showers are a great size too and lovely hot water 😍 We were a little worried about the noise from the bars and restaurants near by especially as 1 was a karaoke bar... There was no problem at all, once the window was closed we heard nothing. Can't comment on the food and drink as we ate out during our stay. The Rubber duck was a nice touch too, my mate now wants to collect all the different ones on our travels. (he was the cheeky one who asked if we could both have one)

Could not fault it. Had problems with my asthma late last night, it's a pretty steep walk back to the hotel and I was struggling on return... The night receptionist couldn't get outside quick enough to help as much as he could, nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.

Quick and easy check-in and check-out with helpful and personable staff. The room was clean, quiet, and came with all the usual items I'd expect a 4-star hotel room to offer. Highlights for me included the mini-fridge (who doesn't loathe UHT milk in their morning tea/coffee?) and an excellent walk-in shower. Great location: About a 10 minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, and the Buchanan Street Underground is less than five minutes away. It's an area with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and retail outlets to suit all tastes and budgets, and there are plenty of entertainment/cultural venues locally too.

It does have an in-house restaurant/bar, but I felt it lacked ambience and offered a very limited evening menu. I chose to eat at a local restaurant suggested by a member of staff and thoroughly enjoyed the evening - it was a great recommendation.

The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We were also able to get a late check out at short notice which was an added bonus. The only negative would be that the City View room we were given was not really a city view. we could see the street below, the building across the street had scaffolding all over it and you could only see a couple of building roofs in the skyline....definitely not what we would call a city view, more a street view. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Had a brilliant stay! Staff went above and beyond.. they were polite, friendly + made effort to make our stay extra special 🙂 paid for petals which were lovely and I'd told them it was my partner's birthday (42nd) and there was a lovely handwritten card from all staff @ apex hotel & a bag of tablet - thought that was really kind and thoughtful of them! They also went out bought a cake + brought it to our room (813) and said "happy birthday" too - i was so happy they made my partner feel special on his birthday! The room was spacious, modern and clean! Bed was comfortable and big too 👍 couldn't asked for anything more to be honest. we had breakfast in the morning too, and i must say that was fabulous too! Excellent for the money, and we will definitely be back 👌🏽 Thanks to Matthew + all the other staff for a great visit to Glasgow 🙂

Nothing to be honest.. all was great for us.

I booked the standard room, king-sized bed. The room is very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Stunning room. The hotel is close to buchanan St, sauchihaul St, wee walk down to argyle Street so this was a stones throw away from shops, restaurants, bars and access to buses/trains. Staff are lovely. We had breakfast in the morning which was stunning. Amazing for a wee night away. We will be back.

Lauren on reception was lovely and attentive and felt valued from the moment we entered the hotel, she is fantastic at her role. The room itself was spacious, the bed was comfortable and TV a good size. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was a good temperature with good power flow. Everywhere was really tidy and clean. The free duck was a beautiful touch, Rennie will make a welcome addition to our home. The view from floor 7 was lovely overlooking northwards. Definitely try get a floor 8 room on the next visit!

There was lots of noise from the bathroom of cisterns/boilers, I had brought earplugs so wasn't so bothered by this but my partner had a restless sleep due to the noise. There was also noise from outside of glass smashing regularly, I'm assuming from a club or pub this didn't go on till late however. There was also a fire alarm at 6am which turned out to be a false alarm we had to go outside for this. Although this wasnt directly the fault of the hotel it would have been nice to have been acknowledged when leaving with an apology for an early wake.
