I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Glasgow City and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy, which made for a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere throughout my visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any requests or questions I had. Their hospitality truly enhanced my stay. In addition to the excellent service, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the vibrant city and its attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Glasgow. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it's a fantastic choice!

The room was very comfortable and extremely clean including the bathroom. Everything worked well.
Please provide more than a couple of tea bags. I like my tea and ran out Saturday evening and therefore didn't have any for a cuppa Sunday morning. Not a big issue but why not leave more. Lastly I booked a taxi Saturday night when retiring for 6:45 on Sunday morning. I questioned this with reception Sunday morning and the member of staff told me there was not record of this request. It wasn't an issue as he requested a cab immediately and it came at the allotted time but if I hadn't discussed this with reception it wouldn't have come?

The location of the Holiday Inn was absolutely perfect. Within metres of the Royal Concert Hall. Our overnight stay which included dinner at Bonne Auberge and breakfast the following morning was perfect. The accommodation was very clean, and appeared to have been refurbished. While not a big room, the beds were comfortable and there was no noise from either the adjoining rooms or from the busy road outside. The food in the restaurant below the hotel was very good. Great value with a set price on offer, and service both at dinner and at breakfast was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the staff. From the reception desk at checking in, to the restaurant staff and the Manager when we were checking out the following morning. Everyone was friendly, polite, helpful and efficient.
The only thing we found was the room was very warm so we did wake frequently throughout the night.

Excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast. My room and the hotel were very clean.
I as happy to have a shower over the bath. However the bath had three large chips on the enamel and the shower curtain was very dated. The toilet flush button was behind the toilet lid so I had to lower the lid every time I wanted to flush the toilet. Limited wardrobe space. The ironing board was placed diagonally in the wardrobe. I had to remove it to get my clothes in. So the ironing board was sitting in my room during my stay as there was nowhere else to put it.

The room was modern and new and suitable for an overnight stay. The room had sufficient space and was comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was basic but had everything you needed.
The bathroom door automatically closed making it unsafe. The ventilation in the bathroom was then compromised making it difficult to shave in the mirror. The accessories eg shower cap were not available and basic amenities offered eg shampoo and shower gel. The lifts were not suitable to the amount of people as they were very small, especially if you had a suitcase. The hotel is just outside the city centre and a walk from the train station but not too far.

The staff where really helpful, as id never been to Scotland before so I asked for directions, it was a really nice hotel room, very clean, and the bed was very comfy, a lovely window view of the centre, which was nice to wake up to. Had a hair dryer for my mrs, because she forgot it so that was a god send, and most definitely be back in the future
The only thing that I picked up on regarding the things thats I didn't like there wasn't enough coffee and tea and milk, as me and my mrs loves a good brew, and the fact that the cleaners had come into the room to clean the room but knocked, some sauce that I had from a McDonalds that was in the bag for the bin and had been knocked on to my bag, which then got all my clothes covered in sauce but other than that I cant complain.

The location was perfect for our requirements. Breakfast was excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the dinners we had. Room was nice and bathroom very clean.
The bed was so hard it made my husband's hips ache and both our legs ache. The cauliflower and truffle soup at dinner on Thursday or Friday was clearly catering not home cooked. It could easily have been better. The room we booked for our daughter on our final night was half the price of ours suggesting prices had been doubled for the golf tournament.

I had a great stay in Glasgow. The location of the accommodation was perfect, making it easy to explore the city. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, offering a peaceful environment for a good night's rest. The breakfast was nice, with a good variety of options to start the day. The staff were helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay, and I would definitely recommend it.
Everything was exactly as expected, and there’s nothing to complain about.

Lovely building with character. Welcoming front desk area. Bar area was cosy & relaxed (breakfast served here too). Staff very friendly & engaging throughout. Location was perfect - 1min to bus station - 2mins to top of main shopping area. Room decent size - nicely decorated, clean & comfortable. Our room was top floor facing onto the busy road so was expecting some noise-level - but none, it was really quiet. 7/10 for breakfast ‘Dove’ shower gel & shampoo provided. Iron & board provided (far better than a trouser press). Free use of a small safe in the room. Plenty of cupboard/storage space for 2 people - and hooks for coats - & hooks in bathroom for towels (it would surprise you how handy these are but are missing from some hotels). Tea, coffee & kettle in the room.
Shower wasn’t the best - not much flow or power - but constant hot water. Breakfast was decent - orange juice was watered down (not sure if it was watered-down fresh orange or diluted juice) - noticed no fried eggs and didn’t realise you could order fried eggs on demand. Breakfast area a bit cramped & busy around 9am and noticed people had to wait for a table.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly, from reception, the bar and housekeeping. The room was small but super-comfortable and spotless, with an iron and a good hairdryer. The only thing I saw missing was bottled water in the room, but not every hotel offers that. Location is perfect, 1 minute from the bus station, lots of bars and restaurants around, and shopping only a few minutes away. Next to the Concert Hall and a couple of minutes from the Pavillion Theatre. Would definitely stay again!
My only negative was the cost of wine in the bar - a glass cost nearly £12 or €14. However, I realised that these were the prices in other bars around too and at the airport. So not specific to the hotel, but just something that I noticed in general.
