The room was pretty basic but still to a good standard and it was clean. We had a room with a window so can't comment a windowless room. Plenty of space and little bits of storage but no drawers or units. The breakfast was really nice with a selection of fruit, cereals, pastries and yoghurts. Great location for getting about the city and for transport links.

What could have improved the room would have been: an extra pillow each, there was only one pillow per person and a hand towel as there were only two bath towels supplied.

We always use Point A when staying in Glasgow as it is a short walk from the bus station and only 2 streets away from a good Wetherspoons for cheap meals and drinks. It is also in a great location for Sauchiehall Street, Buchanan Street and the railway stations. Staff are VERY helpful and they have a good luggage room to leave your luggage in on the day of departure. There is everything you need in the room, including good lighting and plenty of sockets

No hand towels provided, but the bath towels are big. Room was on the 1st floor with a window so a bit noisy in the night with people passing

Location was great, in the heart of city of the centre, staff was very welcoming and clean facilities. Wifi also worked great. Fairly affordable for the area. Great for people who need to work as well, as there’s a breakfast area that isn’t used after breakfast, all tables have power outlets.

The room is very tiny, you can barely move especially with your luggage on the floor. You’d get free breakfast by booking directly at their website instead of using booking, but unsure if you’d pay more per night. There’s absolutely no kettle, mini fridge, or microwave anywhere that to be used by the guests.

The property was great. Perfect location, good value, clean, friendly staff etc

Everything about the property was great HOWEVER a couple weeks after booking i received a text supposedly from the hotel saying if i dont make the payment now then I will lose my booking. After i used the payment link sent to pay, I realised it was a scam (my own fault for not checking with the hotel first, I know). But when I called the hotel they said they had a data breach and were fully aware of the scam. I thinks its extremely bad that they didn't contact all guests as soon as they found out to inform them. Luckily i was able to get my money back from the bank so it wasn't a huge issue for me but I could have lost out on hundreds of pounds.

On booking in, the lady on reception with blonde hair I just want to say thank you as my son has autism and will not go in lifts and me being a single dad she offered to walk my son up while I took the lift and let him go pick a sweet and drink and she always made time to talk to him as he loves to talk so a big thank you and rest of staff were great aswell providing hot drinks 24/7

As my son has autism he is very sensitive to loud noises and at 1.30am the fire alarm went off and woke him up he was panicking so I tried my best to calm him while getting down stairs and jacket on but it was false alarm the staff had it sorted in 5 min but because my son got such a fright he kept coughing trying to be sick so it was another 10 min before he was OK to walk up stairs the Reception were great made him a hot chocolate but he never got back to sleep till 5am and check out was 11am so I queried about if I could pay for another night so he could sleep on but unfortunately it was fully booked but staff and hotel was great

Excellent location, just a short walk from Buchanan St subway and Glasgow Queen Street Station which made travel to, from, and around Glasgow much easier. Nice room, modern yet cosy, and surprisingly quiet. High level of cleanliness throughout the hotel, especially in the room and bathroom. The staff at the front desk were lovely and very welcoming, made the check in and out process nice and easy. Highlight of the room has to be the LED lighting which could be colour controlled depending what mood/atmosphere you want. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only thing I cannot comment on is the breakfast because we did not have it.

The only "negative" I can think of were the pillows. They very soft whereas I prefer a firmer pillow but I completely understand and appreciate that this is just down to personal preference, so they are probably perfect for people who prefer soft pillows.

The room was very compact, but comfortable for one person. Well thought out with plenty of shelves and surfaces to get organised, plus a little pulldown table that you could work at. The room was really clean, although showing some signs of wear and tear. The shower was decent.

Whilst the bedroom was nice and clean, the hallways where a bit grubby, especially the carpets. The air con fan was a bit overdramatic, blowing very vigorously pretty much the whole time, with either really hot air or cold air. Fiddling with the settings didn't seem to provide a happy medium. Was also disappointed to see that if I'd booked direct it would have been £20 cheaper, and include free drinks and free breakfast.

The room was compact (as expected), but it was very clean. The shower had a reasonable amount of watwr pressure and he towels were nice, big and thick. What really surprised me isnhow comfortable the bed was. Even the pillows were comfortable! (the world is full of thin and hard hotel pillows). My room had a small window, so it wasn't very bright, but the LED mood lighting compensated for this. It was pretty pleasant, really. I wish all hotels had it. The breakfast was continental and the coffee wasn't vad at all. There were a couple of vegan and gluten free options, which is good. The staff were nice and you could buy hot drinks from reception at any time (there are no kettles in the rooms). The hotel is very centric and overall it was a pretty pleasant stay. I'll definitely be back.

There were only minor things I could point out as negative.Toast wasn't an option for breakfast, which I found a bit of a strange choice. And there was no hand towel in the bathroom, only bath towels. Although maybe they just forgot to put a hand towel in my room.

The room was clean and comfortable. I had a windowless room which I like as you do not get street noise, though you may get noise from within the hotel. The staff here are lovely.

I had stated a gluten-free requirement for breakfast. The bread/croissant took quite a while to arrive, I could not understand why these were not already available and the croissant was on the hard side. If I'm honest I thought the breakfast was a tad expensive for what I was able to have. It may be ok for people who are fortunate enough to be able to eat what they wish.

Very nice room and comfortable bed. I booked a room with no window, the bonus of this is no street noise. Lovely hot shower and plenty towels, they do provide shower and hair wash. I had a hairdryer in my room, also a television with a few radio channels which was appreciated as the TV did not have programmes on I cared for, so was able to listen to radio in my room in the evening. The staff at this hotel are very pleasant, helpful and nothing is ever too much bother. I also received help to find a theatre I was attending. This was all very much appreciated. I also appreciate the fact that no dogs (apart from assistance dogs) are accepted here. I have asthma and dogs being everywhere now can be rather problematic for me. It's difficult to find dog free places. Dogs can also be noisy.

I do miss tea/coffee in the room, but it's a small inconvenience. The heating in the room is rather noisy and a bit fiddly. However, I found if you turn the fan to low and then adjust the temperature to what you want, it seemed better and a bit less noisy with the fan low. I honestly have to say that given this, I still slept ok. It did not affect me greatly, but do appreciate it may be a problem for other people. If I'm honest I did think my room for the night was rather expensive this time around, but it may have been down to the fact it was very near Easter Weekend and this can make a difference in price to most places.
