I love the lighting system, and I love the fact that the lounge is open 24/7. It was helpful when I wanted to have some work done. The hotel is near everything and was super accessible to all kinds of food! The breakfast was good enough for 8 pounds and you could even get a pastry to take away if you don't want the full breakfast buffet. Also reasonably priced compared to the other hotels around.
The room layout was a little bit funny and inefficient, and the desk was also dirty with a food stain on it (on top of being situated in a corner which really made it unusable). Note the breakfast doesn't have cooked food (but I didn't mind that).

Amazing location exit central St Tesco Express then follow Rd all way its on right side of Rd. Hotel is immaculate condition Staff were great check in was easy so was check out My room was immaculate bed was amazing I slept so well The shower was amazing instant warm water Plenty of hangers to hang things up I only stayed 1 night so didn't need much other than a bed I WILL 100% STAY HERE AGAIN if the price is right I booked 5 months advance paid under £75 this Hotel is great for price comfort and location The breakfast area is also spotless clean. DO NOT BOTHER PAYING CRAZY MONEY FOR HOTELS ON THE TRAIN ST this is like a few miles walk from all them.
Breakfast was very continental and very small but had everything from Tea Coffee Apple juice Orange juice Eggs cereals fruit etc Would like to see more breads tho

great location and friendly staff when you walk in the door. great spacious room and comfortable bed and great bathroom
the tv wouldn’t work for linking my Netflix account or my prime account to watch any shows and didn’t have any smart tv options at all when advertised it did. the room was a little dusty on the walls and there was a cobweb dangling from the ceiling and some dust on the edges especially near the tv which I only noticed when trying to set up the tv or even attempting if I could or not. this ain’t me trying to be a complete Karen either but just stuff I noticed easily when figuring out stuff for the tv or examining the A/C controls and seen dust on the frames of door for example.

Nice room for a 'budget' hotel, it was basic but had what we needed for an overnight stay. Bathroom was spacious enough with a good shower. Room was quiet but we did stay midweek, so maybe noisier/busier on the weekend. We chose a no window room, but it didn't feel claustrophobic or anything and helped me sleep better as usually hotel curtains don't block out the light at night.
We did unfortunately find someone's 'chicken fillet' (bra padding) in one of the little cubby holes that held the remote. It maybe was missed during cleaning but did put us off using the tv.

We booked this quite last minute and the stay was still only 65 quid. The room wasn't that spacious but the bed was comfy and everything was modern, nice and clean. The room even had some nifty colour changing lights which was a fun addition and there were pull-down tables by the bottom of the bed which were handy. There is a lounge in the hotel with sockets where you can sit, eat, and do work if you need. The free wifi is very good, I had no connectivity problems when taking a work video call in the lounge. The hotel is in the city centre of Glasgow and a short walk from the train station(s) so it's a great location for visiting the city.
Not a great view from the window

A great base for short stays in Glasgow! My 5 year old kid and I traveled to Glasgow for one night and we had a really comfortable stay here. The bed was soooo comfortable that I ended up sleeping like a baby! I only paid €34 for one night which is so cheap for all the great things you get! We travel a lot and have stayed at so many different hotels and airbnb’s ranging from luxury - budget accommodations, and Point A Hotel js definitely one of the best budget hotels out there! Fast food restaurants which are kid’s favourites such as Jollibee, KFC & Mcdonald’s are all 2 mins walk away! So many restaurants options nearby and cafes too. Close to Buchanan which is their shopping area and some museums are nearby too! Use Google Maps to see how close everything is, and you’ll see what I’m talking about 😁
- Nothing much to watch on the tv for entertainment. It would have been nice if we could cast our phones and watch Youtube or something. - Found a stain on our duvet’s cover. I just prayed it was changed lol. - Folding table in our room wasn’t cleaned enough.

Room was great, all I needed except for lack of tea making facilities.
I was told I could have free tea/coffee from the machine in the lobby as a replacement for no kettle etc. I had a coffee the first night I stayed but when I requested one on Monday as I was checking out (after 4 days of being there) I was told there'd been a change of management and I'd have to pay, by card, for the second coffee of my stay. Thought that was a bit rude and it soured what was a comfortable stay. Not very good customer service in my opinion.

While the room is compact, it has everything you need. Comfortable bed, safe, TV, shower room, mood lighting and good heating/air conditioning. Room was spotless, indeed the whole hotel was immaculate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Located near Sauchiehall Street, very close to Theatre Royal, Pavilion and Concert Hall. Also close to Buchanan Street shopping and bus station.
I was on the 4th floor in a room with a window which overlooked Hope Street. Windows are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper (like me), there is traffic noise and occasionally noise of people leaving the bars and clubs. Would stay there again no problem but next time will take my earplugs

I loved this hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Craig and Caitlin, who checked us in quickly and effortlessly and gave us helpful information about where to find tours, locations, etc. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and we loved all the natty storage solutions for a small space. Had a fabulous night's sleep in the comfy beds. Will definitely stay again if I manage to get back to the UK sometime.
There was nothing we didn't like. The only slight downside would be having to go to reception to get a cup of tea made, but it really wasn't a problem :-)

I was basically looking for the cheapest private room I could find, booking last minute. This was actually the second-cheapest, but in a more convenient location, so I was surprised at the calibre of the accommodation. The bed was one of the best I had in six weeks in the UK, the bathroom was practical and spacious (by British standards (by which I mean it was not necessary to do a handstand on the toilet seat to get the door closed)), and the general cleanliness of the place was exceptional.
Nothing. It was perfect.
