The location was great - in the heart of the city and near the stations, very easy to reach. The room was spacious, quiet and clean with an iron board and an iron, hair dryer, big bathroom with a shower. The beds were comfortable, you can set the heating. The shower gel and shampoo were provided too. Breakfast was not rich and it was the same every morning but sufficient for us - toast, beans, scrambbled eggs, bacon, sausages, teas, coffees, milk, fruit, muffins, croissants, jams, honey and nutella. The receptionists were very kind. At the reception area there's a microwave so you can warm up your food, and prepare tea, too.

All was fine

I arrived well before the check-in time and asked to leave my overnight case, as I was going for lunch and to the theatre that afternoon. Because a big group of Americans with big cases to store had also just arrived and the luggage storage area was full, the gentleman at reception took my small case behind the reception desk, where it stayed until I collected it that evening. I very much appreciated this gesture and found all the staff equally helpful and friendly. I had asked for a high, quiet room and was given one on the fifth floor, which was perfect. Despite the hotel being on a busy road in the city centre, the room was really quiet and I didn't need to use the earplugs I always bring with me for city breaks. The double room for sole use that I had was very cosy and comfortable. I particularly liked the wee sofa area. For just under £60, including breakfast, for the one night, I thought this was extremely good value for money.

It had been suggested to me at reception that the last half hour of breakfast would be very busy, so I went down an hour before the end of the session and it was ....very busy, so that I did struggle to find a seat, though I did eventually. The breakfast was substantial and varied, though perhaps not as hot as I would have liked it.

All staff were very friendly and really helpful Every day the cleaner came in and cleaned the room without us even asking to which i thought was brilliant as we forgot to ask them to clean but they already done it, customer service was brilliant if you needed anything they were there to help you, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and for the Man named denis he was absolutely brilliant from day 1 till the day we left i would say denis is the best staff member they have he was so helpful and was happy to help no matter what time of day it was and he always helped you with a smile on his face

location was ideal for the venue we were going to for New Year Ceilidh (National Piping Centre, Glasgow) literally few minutes walk. close to many other theatres and shopping centres too. Parking at reduce rate in concert Hall car park was also ideal

Breakfast. would was good but it was chaotic. Breakfast room was full and so was the adjacent room we used. Huge queue for the self service breakfast. Perhaps some more input from staff would have helped as everyone was milling around with no guidance as to what to do. Staff on duty seemed few and were under pressure. Maybe problems worse as it was New Year's Day

Initially given a room with wet room shower facility for disabled. As we had arrived relatively early a room swap was arranged with another guest who had not checked in. Alternative room was excellent. Some people may like a wet room facility but I wouldn't have booked the room if I'd known that that was what was on offer. Great staff service arranging a change of room.

See comments on what did I like. Also surprised that muesli wasn't available for breakfast. Previous booking one week earlier had given us a king size bed for £10 less. I guess that's the way on-line booking works these days but it doesn't encourage brand loyalty.

location, rooms are clean, housekeeping ladys very approachable and nice. room was spacious, and beautiful. hotel very well organized.

double bed is more “small double” size then a real double. we were almost squizing in there. big minus. breakfast not good. no haggis like in the other hotels in glasgow. bacon no taste, poor choice comparing to the other hotels. asked for a room with a view, ive got room 247. not sure is that a room with a view.. theres no view. but at least it was quit and very well isolated.

The Location was perfect close to the Glasgow bus station surrounded by restaurants and the hotel staff to larger extent good especially the staff at the reception but there are few staffs in the breakfast section are not welcoming enough. Rooms are neat clean but some more water pressure on the showers would have been so nice.

When we asked for a baby chair for our 1. 5 year old kid, a lady managing the breakfast section said they don't have baby chair though there are few baby chairs available in the next section of the breakfast room which we didn't liked it at all.

Great location, only about 15 minutes' walk from Glasgow Central and 5 minutes from the Glasgow Caledonian University campus. Basic but comfy bedrooms with nice amenities like an ironing board, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and a fan for the unseasonable weather. The staff were really welcoming and efficient, including the breakfast bar team. I was also really happy with the breakfast - loads of choice and everything was really tasty. I felt very safe and slept extremely well despite the city centre location, and I arrived at my conference looking and feeling great. Thank you!

I had no real gripes - my hairdryer stopped working at one point but the staff on the reception desk were very efficient and friendly in offering me a new one.

We fully enjoyed our stay which was for 7 days. The Hotel is at a prime location very close to the Buchanan Bus Station and the famous Shopping Street in Glasgow. Restaurants and cafes like Starbucks, Mcdonald's, KFC all are within a few minutes walk. The daily Buffet breakfast was sumptuous with different options as well. The Hotel staffs and Managers were very helpful and provided all the support we needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and also would like to revisit it again next time in Glasgow.

Extremely comfortable bed. Excellent powerful, easily adjustable shower. Plenty of space by sink for toiletries. Soap and shampoo and shower gel supplied plus a little shelf for your own stuff. Shower mat provided. Large HD television. Iron, ironing board and hair drier supplied plus the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Good choice for included breakfast. Excellent central location handy for many restaurants.

As usual I complain that there are no mushrooms or tomatoes supplied for breakfast. That's all. Everything else good and would get 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for the missing mushrooms and tomatoes.
