I loved our suite; it was lovely, being both very contemporary but really comfy. The shower in the bathroom was fantastic. The hotel was spotless. The staff were very friendly and very professional, especially the staff in the hotel bar. I really loved the chilled out 'vibe' at the hotel. And it's in a great location, being on the corner of Hope Street and Hardman Street: such a 'vista' when you come out of the hotel's main door, a 'vista' bookended by Liverpool's two great cathedrals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hope Street Hotel.

Our stay at Hope Street was lovely, we requested rooms with a city view and our request was met, 2 beautiful rooms with amazing views!!. our beds were very comfortable and fresh,the rooms were very clean.We also booked the Termal spa journey which was absolutely gorgeous, two hours of pure relaxation. The spa staff were very accomodating and very helpful. It was my twins 21st birthday and in the room was a platter with a Happy birthday wish and truffles! the Spa staff did a platter too, nice little touches !!

Everything was perfect !

Front desk staff was excellent. Location was perfect. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Whole hotel was really well designed. Beautiful. Art and design = A+ Spa was exceptional in cleanliness, design, and forethought. Totally worth it just for the two-hour thermal suite experience.

Option for a late checkout that didn't cost us extra $ per hour stayed. Option to pay upon arrival instead of being charged for our stay 48 hours in advance. (Guests that were traveling with us wanted to cover the cost of the rooms and did not have that option as it was already charged to the credit card used to book.) Would have been great to have a room that could accommodate our 4-person family. Maximum number of guests per room is two. We had to sleep one parent/one child per room. Therefore, gives the impression that families are not the target audience, but rather couples.

Excellent location for us as we had a function at Philharmonic Hall which is across the street. Beautiful spacious room with stylish bathroom with a heated towel rail and a decent makeup mirror. Nice fluffy towels. Comfortable bed. Very quiet ( apart from the first night due to a function outside downstairs which apparently was unusual ) .

The first night ( after we’d travelled all day and had been to a catch up dinner with a friend and were exhausted ) unfortunately there was a loud function right underneath our room at a bar opening out to street which made sleep impossible even at 11pm. However the reception staff very efficiently and quickly moved us into another very quiet room for the night and they moved us back to our original spacious room overlooking Hope Street the next day.

The staff, the whole atmosphere of the hotel is very calming, the beds are so comfortable, spacious even inside the studio! The spa is very good very relaxing :)

The shower in the room flooded really easily and took ages to drain properly, the size of the drain isn't that big ethier. And the times for the spa weren't brilliant.. made the most of the time we got given as it was fully booked. I did try to call ahead the night before when booked but no answer.

Staff, food and hotel design were really nice, well run and efficient. All staff we met were really friendly and couldn't have done more to welcome us and help us when we needed. The design of the hotel is funky without being wanky and the restaurant/s decor was really plush.

My biggest gripe is that the room images advertising the room when I booked via booking.com was not the room we were given. I don't presume this is the Hotel erroneously selling so that people book, it may well be booking.com but it is VERY misleading as I honestly thought the room I had paid for was that one (brick wall/windowed room with bed and a wee sitting area). I was really disappointed when arriving into the room whilst trying to act happy for my husband who I had surprised with the trip. If this is something that can be rectified on booking.com and it is ensured that the right images are corresponding to the right prices (I would have likely paid more to ensure we got the room I saw!) then I know no future customer would have to feel undercut.

Professional, but friendly staff. Lovely ambience in the hotel. Perfect for our graduation visit. Perfect location for our needs being able to walk to all the venues we wanted to visit. So lovely also to see so many liverpudlians employed at the hotel which really made you know you were in Liverpool.

Perhaps some earplugs might be an additional bonus for the front facing rooms. Warm nights, we had the window open and you can hear the streetsounds easily as they bounce off the opposite buildings until 1am/2am. It was hard to settle to sleep but managed it. Even the seagulls in liverpool don't stop at night!! The wide variety at Breakfast was fantastic...could do with some better quality sausages though..otherwise brilliant all round.

very cool design and excellent geographic location. we didn't have breakfast included and went some place else. The family room was big and beds very comfortable.

The SPA is not complimentary but a separate facility that needs to be reserved in advance and i find it quite expensive . In our case the SPA was full and it wasn't even on the weekend so we were disappointed because we had chosen the place for the SPA facilities... but in the UK you really have to make sure in advance, most of the time the SPAs in hotels are not complementary as it is the case in other european countries and they charge you extra 30 pounds for 2H. For the kind of rates they have they could include the breakfast also.

lovely building and very modern.

Quite a walk from the centre of Liverpool. The room was lovely and spacious but was expensive, not including breakfast. Also was not able to use any facilities for a swim etc, as there was an extra charge of £55 per person! I had booked this hotel especially for my Husbands birthday treat with the Spa facilities but the charge in top was ridiculous. They even wanted to charge to Swim? Never stayed in any hotel before that charged extra for using the facilities when you were guest staying there. in addition it was advertised as Discounted parking but on getting to the stated Parking ( Cathedral) we were told that this Discounted price hadn’t been valid for over a year! Then a 10 minute walk to find the hotel.

I’ve stayed here before and find it very central for what I need. The rooms are comfortable with nice bedding and good facilities. the staff are friendly and helpful.

two minor comments. 1. is breakfast slipping a bit? previously when I stayed it was always top notch and freshly prepared. this last stay it was a bit floppy and tired - not up to previous standards but not bad for £15. 2. I suppose these things happen but closing down the lift when you are in the fourth floor was a bit if a blow. I only discovered later that there was an alternative. now wouldn’t that have been a good sign to hang on the lift door rather than just telling you it’s out of service?
