the location, the beds, the comfortable rooms.

The floors were not hoovered daily (room and corridors) and the bathroom was not swept or mopped at all for the 3 days I stayed there. The reception staff are pleasant but no conversations. just functional. It felt quite clinical. I had to wait to be seated because someone hadn’t paid for breakfast. it took a long time. This is not acceptable. then the member of staff at the desk was overly abrupt and annoying. Not friendly.

Excellent location for the Liverpool Royal hospital. Parking next to the hotel £13 for overnight. Dinner in restaurant was exceptional. Large bedroom, very clean & quiet. Staff very friendly. Definitely stay again. Also the hotel run uber taxis is needing to go into town.

I liked how easy it was to book (we did it very last minute after our AirBnb was moldy). The staff were super friendly and located in a very obvious place by the entrance. Our room was huge, incredibly clean, and the tea and coffee station was superb.

One of our room key cards stopped working after I put it next to my phone in my bag. It was quickly fixed by staff though! I also would have appreciated if they had vegan creamer or milk at the coffee station in the room.

I had the studio flat, and it was spacious, clean and tidy when I first walked in. I would definitely pay to come here again! No doubt our stay was fantastic, the evening staff were helpful but during the day, most were busy on the phones so didn't really see many of them.

No parking on the property, should really own the car park next door in my opinion. The fuse kept on tripping and not all the USB ports were working in the room. Phone lines were poor quality, a lot of background noise when talking to the reception. The room was very dusty, but should have been wiped before our arrival which was late after midnight and then we find a set of towels with marks on which wasn't pleasant but managed to get new ones in the morning.

Visited with my daughter for the University Open Day. Received a warm welcome upon arrival; felt the gentleman cared about why we were visiting. Check-in very swift. Very conveniently placed to access the university and the city. Room was comfortable and clean. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus. We enjoyed the pizza from the restaurant - and were given a voucher for some money off.

The only slight downside is that there isn't on property parking albeit there is a car park which felt safe and secure located close by. Does add up when parking for a weekend. (I did know this prior to booking our stay.)

hotel is absoletly stunning, one of the nicest I've seen in Liverpool! they've outdone themselves. The rooms are spotless, bed is huge and great back support. Shower is big and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Also huge TV in the room! We included breakfast. I had 2 rounds everything was so tasty (EXCEPT for the coffee, that was awful! absolutley rank :(. But there's a coffee shop on the ground floor so you can go get a latte instead!) When the only nitpick is the coffee in a buffet breakfast could be better, you know the hotel is doing good! Especially on a bank holiday. Thank you Novotel!

As before, only thing that could have been better is the coffee at breakfast, that's it!

We had a room on the 15th floor and the view was exceptional. Located a little out of the centre but an easy walk from the train station. The room appeared super clean and modern on arrival, really spacious and comfortable. We only had breakfast on one day but this was excellent and I think at around £12.50 was really good value for money. Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was quiet too, maid service was good, coffee machine and kettle in the room, hairdryer and iron/board. Super comfy beds.

Storage facilities in the room - only hanging areas which as we stayed for 4 nights, meant we had our cases open the whole time as nowhere to put anything. Room was also a little hot and it wasn't clear how to get the air con to work.

A great stay well worth the money! Didn’t hear a peep and slept the full way through the night which is unlike me. They allowed me to do late check out for a reasonable fee. Enjoyed the gym and food at the restaurant (just not the service by the rude young female waiter)

The food at the restaurant was lovely but one of the waiting staff was quite rude to others around us and was complaining to her fellow colleague openly. Not very professional. I understand it was late 9pm but people just wanted food you can’t get annoyed at them for simply pursuing that
