Loved the room, newly refurbed toasty warm brilliant housekeeper ( Binka) fabulous view.

The pool was cold, there was nowhere to change or put your things when you did. 3 showers, 2 toilets a chair and lockers that did not lock. The charge was £8 per person. Too pricey would not recommend. One other thing, the new bathroom needs a grab handle. As there was nothing to hold onto i could not use the bath or the overhead shower due to mobility issues.

Nice clean exterior and entrance, check in was quick easy and friendly, room although small was clean, well stocked and a super sea veiw,,

Suppose you get what you pay for but for a double room it was tiny,, the vanity basin was actually in the bedroom and the shower/toilet was cramped, very clean thou, but if we had been staying any longer I'd of paid for an upgrade,, the que for breakfast was like old people queuing at a food bank, 🤦🏻‍♂️ never seen such a shambles, 2nd day we ended up at macdonald's 🤗

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly on our first day of arrival. She showed us facilities and kindly shared information about local attractions. We asked if we could pay for breakfast, and the receptionist explained that we could do it in the morning but need to turn up around 8 am. The next day we attended reception at 8:15am to pay for breakfast but we were told by a different receptionist that it's fully booked and we can't have breakfast. We went to the swimming pool instead and asked again if there was any chance to have breakfast around 9:15am. At this time, we were told that we could have breakfast, but we have to hurry up as they close at 9:30am. It was a bit upsetting as we felt like we were allowed to finish leftovers and had to rush to eat. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, but next time, we would book breakfast in advance. Would really like to say thank you to the Receptionist who met as on our first day of arrival, on 11h August, as she really made us feel welcomed.

The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was abit dated ie decor and needs new doors.Although the bathroom was recently renewed.

Abit dated needs refreshing ie decor etc the windows were really dirty in need of a clean. The carpets are very old looking although the hotel was clean

This is an inexpensive two star hotel, that through hardworking staff, and a friendly, helpful attitude, gets a much better experience than the typical hotel at that price. There is a decent pool, proper cooked breakfast with tea and toast brought to your table and a busy bar and entertainment. If like us you want to go out if the evening, it is right on the front, three minutes from the pier.

Sure the place could probably do with a refurb, the carpets and such are a little dated. But then it'd probably go up £30-50/night higher and lose the option of a cheap stay right in the centre.

The entertainment in evening was a nice touch. The pool was a great find and the room was big and front facing. (Seafront) The bar was reasonably priced and the hotel was large in all aspects. Nice big rooms and high ceilings Car park us a big help if you have children

The carpark is a lottery. I think you should be able to reserve spaces. I was promised a call when a space became available but didn't get one, and upon my arrival, there was a space. I had to run back to the car (20 mins) after carrying and pushing luggage along Seafront. With children. It was a small thing but made a big impact on arrival. Staff were good though on the whole. It was only the parking incident which I was a bit miffed. Once parked up I did forget and enjoy stay. The pool changing rooms need to be monitored/cleaned regularly. It was a bit of a flooded mess and we ended up going bk to our rooms to dry and sort ourselves out. Litter on floor

All staff were excellent and helpful, nicely decorated in public areas. The swimming pool was excellent. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean. Location to promenade and shops is excellent. Breakfast was good on the first day, but food was hard on the second day as we went down a bit later and it had dried out on the hot plates.

The room was a little tired, stained couch, parts of the shower room looked like could have been cleaned better, the chairs in the window where mad of faux leather, these were cracked and shredding leaving bits of black on the floor. The underneath of the divan bed was also in need of repair.

Before we arrived I sent the hotel a message advising of my disability and that if possible could we have a room near a lift, and with a walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath. This was sorted out for us and we were actually given a sea view twin room at the very front of the hotel on the first floor. The room was lovely, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was what we needed. The staff were fab throughout and were more than happy for me to charge my mobility scooter safely on the ground floor. It was a great couple of days stay.

One of the over bed lights wasn't working, and one of the ceiling bulbs flickered every now and again but we forgot to mention it, I have no doubt it would have been sorted for us immediately though.

Fantastic location, I booked a single room so my expectations were low but ended up in a double room with a lovely sea view. The hotel had a swimming pool, unfortunately I didn't get chance to use it. The room was very quiet, no disturbance from other guests or the entertainment provided. The shower was great. Lovely breakfast. Excellant value for money.

Being picky, the room was compact with the bed under the window. A soap dish or gel in the shower would have been nice. The bed was comfy but the bottom sheet hadn't been flattened or tucked in, I had to sort that when I jumped in. That's the only reason I gave it 9 out of 10, otherwise it would definately be a 10. I had to park a short distance away but that's what you expect in an older facility on the sea front.
