We stayed for 2 nights but didn't have breakfast as we were visiting family. The seafront location could not be bettered. The staff were very good and we had no issues needing resolved. The hotel was pretty much spotless and there was entertainment. (A singer and some bingo!) The view from the front facing room was a bonus as we booked quite late and did not expect a sea view. The drinks were competitively priced and there was a good range on offer at the conservatory bar. The lift to our 2nd floor room was clean and worked well. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom, though quite small was adequate and clean. I would definitely book again!

I am struggling to find fault with anything. This is not a modern hotel by any means but it is fairly typical of terraced seaside hotel accommodation. Although It occupies a corner site and is handy for all amenities nearby.

In a great location, but the deluxe room we stayed in was nothing as luxurious and smart as the photos on the hotel’s website. It was large and roomy but practical rather than attractive or luxurious.

As above- the room was tired and very dated, but the photos showed a luxurious purple decor of which there was no evidence

The location on the beach front was perfect - plus I had a view at the front on the 2nd floor so my view was as good as it gets. The staff were all amazing - absolutely top notch and could not have been more helpful or friendly. Morning breakfast was also excellent - plus as it was Easter we all got an egg which was very kind and a really nice touch from the hotel. The room was also lovely and warm.

Obviously for the price I wasn't expecting the Ritz.....the room was def in need of an update, and the bathroom shower worked but needed an update too. However it served it's purpose and I was only sleeping there and having a morning shower so not a big issue. Could do with a better pillow too but again minor complaint given how fantastic everything else was.

This is my 4th year staying at the Marine and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else...reception staff are always very friendly and helpful...room is basic but has everything I need as a solo traveller and being at the top of the hotel it is very quiet..room very clean and nice fluffy towels..and the sea view is amazing..would def recommend a stay here ...have never tried the food as I always eat out but looking at the full dining room it must be good

If there was one thing I could say it would be that the walls and ceiling could do with a fresh painting as the paint is peeling away in places but certainly didn't affect my stay at all

Breakfasts were buffet/help yourselves. I had cereal, toast, cooked breakfast, orange juice and coffee, each morning. The member of staff greeting you and marking you in for breakfast was very friendly and jolly, she was bilingual speaking Welsh and English to guests, and had a good rapport with guests. All the staff were friendly. Food was good. Plenty of seating in lounges/bar/ballroom. Had a lovely swim in the pool one lunchtime, we had the pool to ourselves. Great location, just around the corner from the shops and on the promenade with lovely views out to sea and to both the big orme and little orme. Bedroom was spacious, with a good size TV, table and chairs, dressing table and chair and comfy beds.

Hotel was in a great position. Parking was very limited so I would get there early to get yourself a spot. Our family room was in the ‘basement’ with one window giving some natural light to the room. It was very spacious and only a couple of doors in from the back door leading in from the car park so it was very convenient for a family with a pram as we could come and go easily without having to get involved with any stairs. Breakfast was ok not much choice for the cold buffet just standard cereal and jams. Hot food was ok. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool was also good for a casual swim nice to have as a facility. Don’t really have a bad word to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The only thing I would say is there was no mini fridge in the room but not necessarily a negative just would have been nice to have one.

This hotel may be a bit creaky due to its age but that can be forgiven as it excels in all the most important areas. We found it very clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of top ups for teas and coffees. All the reception and waiting staff are friendly and polite, special thanks to Cari who has a way of making everyone feel special. We had bed and breakfast for four nights. Breakfast was buffet style full English, perfectly cooked tasty we were impressed by how well organised meal times were all waiting staff so efficient. We had three course evening meal on the first night which we enjoyed. Ate out on subsequent nights.Nice seating area and view onto the seafront in the bar where hot and cold drinks are served more friendly helpful staff. The marine is centrally located on the seafront. We had a double room with seaview which was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We visited Aber falls and Conwy castle during our stay. I should also mention to take the opportunity to pre book parking at 6 pound a day we thought very reasonable and handy just round back of hotel. There are some reserved spots out front. To load and unload. Thank you !

I loved the breakfast and the swimming pool. all the staff was nice and friendly. all the staff had a smile on there face and when I polite ask for extra toilet roll they were happy to help me out. I would recommend to family and friend and I would be staying again In the future.

we didn't have a sew view room if that help. bed was comfy but did have a mark on one of the pillows. there was a noise in the room where the pipe where which was noisy when trying to get to sleep as was when upstairs was using the loos or had a bath or shower. kettle was really loud.

Staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. I took my dog with me the waitress even bought some cooked sausages for my dog for breakfast. Hotel was very clean and a good choice for meals. We went half board and their was a variety of meals to choose from on the menu. Breakfast was self serve as much as you like, again great choice and well cooked food. Great location easy to walk into the town. We had a sea view room which was really nice. Hotel has a lift which made it easier with our luggage. Used the stairs after, took a little getting used to as lots of corridors going off in different directions. Great hotel, great location, really grateful I could take my dog and apparently they allow cats. Yay

Could not fault this hotel at all.

Breakfast and Dinner were good. This is a tired old building in need of a refurbishment. The staff are all excellent, attentive, polite and very helpful. They all appear to be conscientious and hard working. They are what makes me rate this hotel as we do. Hand rails are in situ as required and are needed because of the numerous small flights of stairs. Evening entertainment on the nights scheduled was enjoyable. A minus is that the swimming pool is kept hidden!! No mention of it on line and seemed to be kept under wraps generally. I would have very much enjoyed the use of this facility.
