I really liked it. I stay in London regularly so have tried many different hotels - they tend to be pretty similar, but what separates the good ones is the area, how quiet the room is, the staff and the value for money. This hotel ticks all those boxes and felt very cosy, so probably the hotel I will come back back to. The location is as good as you can find in London. It is on a quiet square just next to Notting Hill, and the room overlooked the square gardens. It was quiet and felt very safe (not always the case in London). Compared to most other places I have stayed in the city this was definitely my favourite.

I would take most negative comments with a pinch of salt. I've read a few other reviews that pick up on issues like hearing the trains in the underground and generally being an older building - but these are common to most places I have stayed in London in that price range and you'll find those same comments on most other hotels.

The room was very tidy, clean and nice. The location fo the hotel was very convenient The breakfast was tasty, simple with a good variety. I would l visit this place again.

The receptionist could ahve been more efficient and quicker in retrieving our reservation. He was chatting to another staff memeber even though we had already started the checking in process.

Thank you for your hospitality. Upon arrival we did not like the room they gave us because of the sofa mattress and they quickly offered us another one. The rooms are big enough for a family and comfortable. The toilets are quite good and have full shower. There are massive windows where you can see the beautiful gardens just in front of the hotel. Sometimes you can hear the Tube, but trust me, it doesn't really bother. The breakfast is really good, you can have coffee, juices, toasted bread, ham and cheese, fruit, etc. The hotel is really worth it.

Everything was fine.

Blue Bells Hotel is lovely, and staff so helpful. I had a single room, a little small, but knew that when I booked. I hadn't stayed in Notting Hill before, so a new experience and it is lovely there and easy to get to the West-End using the buses. There was a lot on offer at Breakfast time, and being Coeliac they provided me with Gluten-Free Bread. I felt at home there and would definitely stay there again and it was good value for the cost.

A little bedside lamp would have been helpful, as I had to keep television on late at night for the light, when getting up to switch off the main central light. The Drape on the window didn't extend straight across the window, it seemed to be stuck. Overall, a lovely hotel and would want to stay there on my next visit.

I was warmly welcomed by Claudia who let me check in a bit early carried my bag upstairs and offered coffee as I was tired from a 4am rise. The neighbourhood is residential with two small primary schools in the terrace houses and a park opposite. As a senior, I felt safe and comfortable. Portobello Rd is a short walk and a fun place to hang out for food, as is the local pub. Breakfast exceeded my expectations.

Access could be a problem for someone who doesn’t like climbing stairs. There is no elevator and steps up to the entrance. Fortunately, I am fit for my age. Oh and the hairdryer didn’t work.

The location is perfect to feel the London spirit without the crowd of turists. Clean hotel, every other day we were provided with new towels. Staff was frendly and helpfull. We were checking 30 min later then the hour but already were sent a message from the hotel how to open the door which had a code.

The breakfast was just fine without too much choice but my family was just fine. My kids and husband were happy about it. I was having just a tea as usual. Could be some lemon for it provided. Also, the sound of the tube was there but nothing really disturbing being on the second floor.

Brilliant experience, staff very welcoming and helpful, fantastic location to visit touristic hot spots, but on a quiet street. Cca 15-20 mins walk to Portobello market, Paddington station and Kensington gardens and palace. Minutes from underground station. Room was very clean and comfortable, the terrace garden at the back was a little gem. Breakfast was lovely, again all staff very friendly and helpful. Overall brilliant stay, thank you 😊 👌

The only thing to improve would be to have drinks and snacks for sale throughout the day and evening, however just couple of minutes walk there are M&S food or Amazon fresh mini supermarkets so one can get everything there.

The location is close to public transport. The underground and buses are near however neighborhood is quiet and full of blooming magnolia and camelia. In the morning we heard the birds singing. Nice decorated room, good furnished. Very comfortable bed, 2 size pillows. Perfect lighting in the bathroom. Rich and tasty breakfest. Small fridge anf tee/coffee making facilities in the room, including tee, coffee and milk. After special request they fixed the wi-fi connection and wi-fi was available in the room on the second floor.

At the start of our visit the wi-fi is not available, but after our request it was fixed. The lightning in the room was rather poor. The shower was poor cause limestone.

The location is just amazing -one of the best areas of London to stay. The breakfast is good albeit the same every day. For me it wasn’t a problem. I absolutely loved my cosy room on the third floor- felt like a princess at the top of the tower:) The staff is very friendly! Helprizin ( I am sure I have misspelt the name, sorry) is very helpful and is ready to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable:) Abi, thank you as well! Will get back without any doubt❤️

All was really good! This place is really dear to my heart now:)

A really beautiful hotel. In Victorian style. Very cosy and personal. Makes you feel at home. The location is fantastic. Only 7 minutes to the Central Line, which takes you to all the sights. Supermarkets, a pharmacy and many restaurants are also just a few minutes' walk away. Nevertheless, the hotel is in a residential area, away from the main road and really quiet. After the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel is a great place to relax. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is also very reasonably priced for London.

It was a pity that there was no typical English breakfast
