The staff were lovely and kept our bags for the day while we went out before we checked in. The palce was lovely and clean there was a positive atmosphere there aswell

There are windows in the rooms that have pigeons nests just outside of them. The pigeons make alot of noise during the night which was annoying.

How comfortable the pillows and mattress was and how clean everything was. Staff was super friendly and helpful and breakfast was generous.

My room was way too big for how small all the facilities were, need to install a desktop, there is enough space in that room. Shower was not very powerful.

Really close to Kensington Palace and Hyde park. 3 underground stations around the corner so perfect gateway to other places like Tower Bridge, Westminster, Buckingham Palace. Rooms really clean and very comfy beds. Our water, coffee, soap and towels topped up every day and exchanged everyday.

I just didn't like that our doughter who is 7 had to pay full price for breakfast where as you know kids are really fussy eaters and she only had a sandwich with Nutella and bowl of coco pops for nearly £16 same as us adults who had toasts, bacon, sausages, eggs and tea/coffees. I would suggest different prices for children.

I had a very fair 3-star experience at this hotel, and here's my review. The first star definitely goes to its fantastic location. It's within a 3-5 minute walk from Notting Hill's amazing coffee shops, breakfast spots, and Portobello Road. Moreover, you'll find yourself within 7 minutes of 3 metro stations, 2 of which are for the Circle Line and 1 for the Red Line, along with numerous nearby bus stops. This is perfect for exploring the area, and we enjoyed daily coffee walks near the Royal Kensington Palace. Also, the Oxford Tube bus stop is conveniently located in front of the Czech Embassy. Truly, it's the best value for the price. Our room was on the smaller side, but it met our expectations. What really stood out was their flexibility with payment; they allowed us to pay in cash upon arrival, which was fantastic. We didn't try the breakfast here, preferring to explore other, albeit more expensive, touristy Instagram-worthy places. In summary, this hotel is a simple and modest place for an overnight stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly and willing to assist within their means. While it may not be a designer art destination edging towards 4 stars, I am 100% satisfied with my experience

The other two stars are for the hotel itself. While it may be a bit „tired“, used, and dated in terms of furniture and design, it provided everything we needed for our week-long stay. Clean bedding, towels, a proper hot shower, hairdryer, and the added bonus of a kettle with coffee and tea. I'd recommend bringing slippers (they are Not provided) as the carpet floors seemed a bit neglected in terms of cleaning, though they were vacuumed.

We booked this hotel very last minute as we had a little disaster with our accomodation that we had previously booked in London and we are so happy we discovered this hotel as we will definetely be staying here again when we come to London. Firstly I had a little disaster with my SATNAV and was unable to find the hotel with my suitcase, back pack and my 7 year old son (the hotel however is in such easy reach of Bayswater Underground and Queensway underground but google maps spiralled out of control) I called the hotel and a lovely young lady behind reception gave us great directions over the phone and upon arrival she was so smiley and polite as were the breakfast staff in the morning. The rooms are small (we booked a standard double) but they are great for a stay in London where we are constantly on the go. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was so modern. My son was happy as there was a huge choice of Childrens channels on the TV. Such a lovely Victorian building with a scrumptious breakfast buffet. The breakfast area is also available for guests throughout the day and evening to eat their lunch or dinner use their laptops or make video calls. It really was a home away from home with the High St around a 5 minute walk away with a huge choice of restaurants, fast food chains and a Sainsburys local. Thank you to all of the staff at Bayswater Inn.

As I said the rooms were small however for London you only really sleep in your hotel. There is the breakfast area downstairs if you need more room to do anything.

Location! So much nearby and so easy to get anywhere from here. Air conditioning worked really well. Lobby was nice. Good for a couple of nights as a base where we just slept and got ready for days out. Beds were clean and comfy.

Cleanliness could be improved. Paint in our room was really shabby. No peepholes nor chain locks on bedroom door. Would be really uncomfortable staying on my own. An additional small table in the room would be really helpful. Very small dressing table was taken up with large tray with kettle, tea/coffee. Left little room for toiletries or other belongings. Was difficult to use hairdryer without knocking over kettle and cups. A small console table under the TV would be perfect.

The PERFECT location for my short stay of London sightseeing. Easy walk to Marble Arch! I LOVED the quiet neighbourhood surrounding Bayswater Inn Hyde Park, with its plethora of good cafes, 4 pubs very close and a multitude of ethnic restaurants!

THE ONLY THING was that from the experience of this older solo international traveller, I implore you to PLEASE remove the older carpets on the ground floor accommodation corridors and lay modern hard floor that is suitable for easily moving modern luggage with wheels. I almost had a heart attack moving my packed to limit 23kg suitcase and 7 kg cabin bag to Reception from Room 119 at 5.30am on my day of departure. Otherwise, all was wonderful. 😊

Very friendly, willing and courteous staff.

Though I checked the location of 8-16 Princes Square W2 on Google Maps I did not find any clear indication of where the Hotel was - though several other establishments did appear clearly marked and identifiable. Princes Sq is a tricky location I found, addresses morph into Kensington Square Gardens and other nearby streets have inconsistent names that change at crossroads and junctions. We walked past the Hotel at least twice without spotting it. Clearer signage - rather than a name plate on the portico facing out into the roadway rather than across the eyeline of pedestrians would have been a great help.

Unfortunately, the aircon didn’t work in our room so it was very hot, but we went down to reception to explain the situation and they moved us into a new room and gave us an upgrade straight away which we were very happy about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were standard, but had what you need and for the price you are paying and the location it was good.

The curtains had some mold on them. It seemed like a very old building, so there may be some renovation needed, but as we were only staying a couple of nights, this didn’t bother us really
