Relatively good location for both trains and buses as well as being an overall nice location close to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park and Notting Hill. The room I was in was rather small however, ideal for a solo traveller and I enjoyed it. Air conditioning worked well and I had a rather nice view from my window with a good amount of natural light.

No options for breakfast inclusion unless you go to another hotel owned by the same chain and paid for it (about £15.) My room was up 50+ stairs and for me it was okay I didn’t mind the steps and am able to climb that many flights of stairs but for a lot of people it would have been very inaccessible and would need to be better articulated to people choosing to stay. Lack of in room fridge which I thought may be a useful addition. This meant I couldn’t get any basic items and keep them cold however, not a massive deal.

Excellent location with super friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, and a clean and quiet environment to rest in London. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. Had everything one would need to enjoy their stay. Also, amazing coffee shops and restaurants nearby - I recommend Farmacy!

Not a negative as such, but as it’s an original property there is no lift so, for some, the stairs would be too much. We had no issues, and I’m sure if we’d had heavier cases the staff would have helped with this. But if you struggle with lots of stairs best to ask for a lower room.

Location was good, close to public transport routes. Clean but small rooms, staff were friendly.

No lift, we stayed on the 4th floor and it’s a few sets on steep stairs which was fine for us but could be an issue for others. If you are less mobile I would request you put a request in for a lower floor at the time of booking. Our room was very clean, however extremely small. Good place to stay if you are only using it to sleep. No facilities such as a cafe / restaurant, lounge etc. These aren’t points to complain about but just a note for any future guests 😊

We stayed for Nothing Hill festival. The location is very near to Bayswater and Queensway tube station. You can walk to Hyde park for 4 minutes and there are lots of restaurant on the way. The staff are friendly. The room is small but very clean and new. There are also free cookies. The air con works well.

Our room is 517 and there's no lift so we walked in a three storey narrow staircase but there's a porter that can carry your bags. You can hear your next door neighbours. The soundproofing of the room is not great. There's another "J" hotel around the corner so we got confused. This hotel name is "The J Hyde Park Hotel".

The way of accessing the room. no lift. the room I stayed was located at the very last floor. the room explains that is located at the third floor however is located in the 4th floor of the property as well having long and extremely small and Nero stairs step making the access extremely danger and difficult to carrying luggage. also the doors access to the room has two doors extremely heavy to open and able to open only whilst the two doors of room access extremely difficult, stress and frustrating to be opened. also the room was boiling hot and no air conditioning strong enough to make cooler after having to almost climb the room access sweating and super exhausting after once you have finally made to the room after checking in.

The room was large, the bed was extremely comfortable and the TV was easy to use. The usual kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits was appreciated after a hot walk! The staff were friendly and check in and check out was easy. The location, close to Hyde Park and not far from Queensway or Bayswater underground was great. We loved the 14:00 check in and 12:00 check out compared to the times of other hotels nearby - one of the main reasons we booked it!

The toilet seat was very loose although we did not mention it as we were only staying for the one night. We did not have any breakfast so cannot comment. Not much to dislike really.

I decided to stay at J Hyde Park for 3 nights during my days off . Hotel’s location is perfect. 2 metro stations in just few minutes walking, shops , pubs just behind the corner. After arriving I was checked in and little bit confused about very small room size. Yes, I’ve booked the cheapest. But the staff was so friendly. the next morning they upgraded my room for much more comfortable. Any question- to get some water for example, they’we doing immediately and with a pleasure. Also I was allowed to do late checkout. So grateful for that.

located on the peaceful corner of princes sq, you forget your only a 2 mins walk away from the high street and hustle of Bayswater. The smart contemporary style of its interior has not only balanced work and leisure guests perfectly, it’s classic London Town house exterior gives your stay a cultural authenticity you would want when visiting any place in the world. The staff are none intrusive with a professional and friendly manor. they give you your space to get on and enjoy your stay while respecting your privacy, their obliging accommodating and reliable service feels personable with a sympathetic mutual understanding that gives you peace of mind , this is why I am a regular and is placed in my top destinations to stay in this star category while visiting good old London Town.

only down side is there no lift, which could be a problem to anyone with health conditions after you reach the 2 to 3rd floor. A personal suggestion would be adding a arm chair and side table in the large rooms. the rooms have so much space they could easily be accommodated for. This would define if from the other rooms (all in which have the same furniture) and give back a cosy feeling provided by the smaller due to proximity of its wall’s.

Great location; right next to Hyde park. Walking distance to Oxford Street and two underground stations are less than 5 minutes out. New hotel with comfortable beds and a strong AC. Have to commend the AC unit as most hotels don’t have one and it is much needed in the summer here. The shower is strong and good as well as very spacious.

The staff made us move rooms in the middle of our stay due to construction on our floor. Could be because the hotel is new. Staff in general were not great. Our first room had no soap and had only 2 pillows where as our second room had 4 pillows and soaps of all kind as well as amenities. Means our room was not prepared to the best of their abilities.

The bed was comfy and the bathroom was very modern and clean. The hotel is in an ideal location, with Bayswater station on the Circle and District line just 5mins walk away, and Hyde Park/Queensway station on the Central line just 10mins away. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We were upgraded to a room with a bigger bed, but it was located on the top floor; my elderly mother struggled with the 5 flights of stairs (no lift in the hotel) - please request ground/first floor room if you have mobility issues when you book.
