Wow - one of our best stays in a long time! We will definitely be going back! The owners we so welcoming - nothing was too much trouble It was a super nice room, that was large and in a pretty vintage style, with a super comfy bed. Our room also had a great shower and nice ensuite bathroom with extra's provided It was probably also one of the best cooked breakfasts we have had in a very long time - from anywhere! Loads of it and you could taste the quality. Parking was super easy right outside and it was a short 10minute walk right into the centre of Lyndhurst. We cannot recommend this location highly enough

Honestly - there was nothing we didn't like... it was a fabulous stay. Just a shame the pub right next door was so disappointing - but plenty of other meal options nearby!

My husband and I booked this last minute for a little weekend away in the new forest and were so glad it was available! The B&B is super clean and comfortable with lovely friendly hosts who welcomed us to their beautiful home. We stayed in bedroom 1 which was huge, from one window we had wild horses and from the other the chickens in the garden. I will miss waking up to the smell of Chris baking his home cooked bread! The breakfast is amazing using all local fresh ingredients, you really couldn’t want for any more. The b&b is on a main road but this didn’t affect us at all, we had the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return next year. Thanks Chris & Margret for such a lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much. Lovely warm, clean, and homely room. The location is perfect for a walk into the village. Fantastic shower pressure. Everything we needed in the room. I loved watching the birds on the bird feeders from our window and watching the resident chickens! Chris and Margaret couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we loved having a chat. The breakfast was fantastic. We bought some eggs and homemade honey from Chris before we left and if we lived close enough we would be regular customers! :)

The location is great for a stroll into the village. However, it's worth noting that it is on a main through road, which can be noisy during the day, not that it bothered us as we were up and out! At night it wasn't a problem at all! It certainly won't put us off staying again!

The bedroom furniture was in keeping with the house and well cared for and tasteful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful. The English breakfast and home made bread and jams were delicious. The views of the surrounding garden and wildlife and chickens makes it a very restful place.

If you open the windows you will hear a busy road situated at the front of the house but this is expected given the location and does quieten down over the night.

friendly helpful proprietors, very comfortable spacious room. Loved the views over the garden and forest and the happy chickens making the breakfast eggs. Good breakfast, beautifully presented with their own eggs, preserves and sausages from their own rarebreed pig (kept off site!). A short walk to the pub for evening meal. Can walk out from the pub in to the forest to go in either direction to Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst

A car is helpful as the bus service to Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst is infrequent and the pavements on the very busy A337 are not nice to walk on. Good to be in a rear room as the A337 traffic can be noisy.

Beautiful house easy to find and perfectly located. On the main road but heard no traffic at all. Hosts were exceptional and made us feel comfortable. Our room was lovely and clean, good furnishings everything you could want and the bed was so comfy. The views were calming with ponies in the paddock. Breakfast was was homemade, fresh eggs from their chickens and sausages from their own pig. I cannot rate our stay any higher. Absolutely lovely and would definitely recommend.

Loved everything

Our room was delightful, tastefully decorated, big and with a huge bed. The breakfast is delicious and with lots of different options (with eggs from their own chickens, yum!!) and the owner Chris is incredibly kind and helpful, even gave us a lift to the wedding we were going to! And watching lots of birds on the feeder while having breakfast was a bonus for us! :)

our room was overlooking the main road and was maybe a bit noisy due to the summer traffic - but really, nobody's fault and really only an issue if you're a very light sleeper

Really nice place, very clean and had everything we needed. We came to cycle around the New Forest and had a great time. Very convenient setup with the parking by the property and we could keep our bikes in the garage. Don't think I've ever stayed somewhere so clean! There was daily cleaning and they were very sweet giving us new cookies and chocolate bars each day and a big tea selection too. The breakfast was tasty too with home laid eggs and we even bought some eggs at the end to take home. Had a great stay, would stay here again if I return to the New Forest.

Beautiful property with amazing hosts. The room was large, clean, nicely decorated and overlooking the garden. We got cookies and small chocolates in our room along with a fully stocked tea/coffe set up. Our bed was super comfy. We didn't have any issues with the noise. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and made to order. Overall a perfect 10 stay.

Such a lovely place! Owners (mainly dealt with the male owner) was so so lovely. Clean room, comfy and cosy, you can see the chickens from room number 3 in the garden which I loved Breakfast was lovely!! No shop bought here. Thick bacon, thick sausages and eggs from their own hens

Nothing, 15-20 min walk to lyndhurst so ideal of you like a little walk!
