Breakfast was incredible!!!!! Adrian the manager was brilliant, so welcoming and on hand for anything we needed. He made our stay very special! Hotel grounds were stunning and loved the spa da kites here, felt very relaxed by the end of our stay.

Hotel staff assumed we were husband and wife when we were mum and daughter and could have offered twin room. Every reservation we had in the hotel they had Mr and Mrs on the paperwork. No special treatment/recognition when we specified we were celebrating both our birthdays ahead of our stay. Bathroom could have been a little more modern.

We loved the gardens, all those lovely areas, overlooking water and/or fountains as well as woods. We saw wild horses and deer. But I especially loved how helpful and attentive the staff were, many of them young people, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after and getting everything right all the time! extraordinary and delightful!

there were a couple of disappointing moments with the food - eggs undercooked, a tempura which I had loved very much first time around, but when I ordered it again it was so salty I had to leave it on my plate... restaurant staff were apologetic and promised to report back to the chef...

What's not to like...? The building, the greeting, the room and the view of the forest from it, the grounds and the staff who were all very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the food was great and we had a fab time.

The only thing that I noticed (which was definitely out of the ordinary) was the service at breakfast the second morning we were there. It wasn't as slick as the previous morning in that it was all a bit slow and ordering was all a little disjointed. It didn't really matter as we were all on holiday but it was just a bit of a contrast. It happens in the best run establishments at times... Been there before!

The service was second to none, ALL the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and you couldn't want for anything. We had two evening meals in the Armada restaurant that were incredible made even more so by the fact that they knew already that I was coeliac and therefore needed a gluten free meal. The service was great and we also used the swimming pool, steam room and whirlpool. The hotel was situated in the perfect location to explore the New Forest and one evening when we came back a bit later we were lucky to see deer right outside the hotel on the drive.

One of the mornings when it was busy with wedding guests we waited almost 45 minutes for our tea and coffee but this was a small blip in our otherwise fabulous stay

We spent our Honeymoon at Rhinefield House Hotel and it was amazing. During our stay we had a lovely Elemis couples massage, afternoon tea and use of the spa. We enjoyed opening our wedding cards to views of the koi pond. The lovely touches of the badger on the bed were cute. Thank you yes, would recommend! It was lovely!

we couldn’t keep the badger!

Harry and his amazing team were nothing short of brilliant :) We stayed as a family to celebrate a very special occasion and it was so magical. The service was exceptional and all of the staff placed so much emphasis, attention and care to make every moment and interaction special. Our room was spacious, grand and perfectly set up for the whole family. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and so enjoyable. The bar was also superb, lovely atmosphere with exceptional cocktails and service. A perfect weekend all round - we all had the most wonderful time and will most certainly be back! Thank you to the whole team for making it so special :)

Beautiful surroundings, magnificent grounds and building, staff were warm and hospitable. The food was fantastic! The spa was good - the sauna was a good temperature and facilities were quiet. I had an incredible massage and luxury facial from Amy - the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had a lot of compliments since on how well I look :)

It was quite cold in the hotel (in February) but not sure that could be overly helped.

Breakfast is served in 1or 2 rooms depending on demand. Both room have plenty of character. The food and service are very good. Dinner is served in large formal dining room and aimed at 'fine dining.' there are 'al a carte' and tasting menus again well cooked with a good and attentive service. There was no change to the menu on our 2 night stay and no dish of the day options. Informal dining is available in an Orangery like annexe with some fast food type options and Bistro style versions from the main menu. The room was comfortable with 2 arm chairs, a table and a large double bed and fitted with quality wardrobe/dressing table /large flat screen TV. The cleaning and maintenance was to a high standard and the towels and robes were excellent. Mobile reception was adequate.

Probably because of the Royal funeral the atmosphere was a bit flat but there are plenty of facilities in the hotel, in the grounds and other venues nearby. On our visit almost all the external venues were closed and the mood was sombre. None of these issues are the fault of the hotel

Breakfast was excellent and I was pleased that it was all served and I did not have to queue up to collect food. Our dinner was delicious and the room was a reasonable size with 2 comfy chairs. It was very hot and the tables by the long pond with their sunshades were excellent and the gardens were lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The outdoor pool was fully occupied by children and, therefore, not really available for adult swimming. Although they have a small indoor pool which was very pleasant in the evening, I wonder if they had another outdoor pool just for adults, whether that would solve the problems. I realise that we visited in school holidays and the problem probably does not arise in term time. We may not have another heatwave next year!

Beautiful location in the New Forest. Lots of scenic roads of course. The restaurant was exceptional. We invited friends for afternoon tea and it was delicious. We also dined in the restaurant - superb! Breakfasts were great.

The weather was very cold for England during our stay. The common rooms in the hotel (restaurant, lounge) could have been warmer, although we realize that there is an energy crisis everywhere.
