Lovely staff, Debbie showed us to our room on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed, Katie was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. LOVED how housekeeping DIDN'T unnecessarily change our towels. All too often hotels have the "consider the environment..." notice but STILL change neatly folded towels. Well done White Rabbit. The location, within easy walking distance of Lyndhurst's fabulous food outlets, also has great parking for our classic cars.

Our room (8) had a window that didn't close properly and we were above the plant room for the cellar, with loud pumps kicking in every half hour, for 15 minutes or so, all night. A very disturbed first night sleep until we got ear plugs.

As always you can be very proud of your staff, we couldn't have asked to be looked after by any better team. As for the menu, well what can I say other than spectacular. Mind you it's going to take us a while to work off the calories (lol).

My only down side to our stay with you was our room. The furnishings were more than adequate. However the decor was not up to standard. I understand that refurbishment of rooms is in hand, which when completed, will make the White Rabbit the perfect place to stay. We have already recommended The White Rabbit to friends that asked about our Christmas break away.

We have stayed here before, so we are familiar with location, comfortable surroundings and the options offered. Bedroom was good size, bed was comfortable, shower worked well and had decent spray and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was lovely and offered different choices as well as the normal cooked breakfast. Landlord and Landlady were friendly and informed us about the turning on of Christmas lights in the high street on the Saturday evening. Its a short walk to the high street from location of White Rabbit, plenty of local shops, places to eat and drink.

Shower door didn't quite shut fully so some of the water went on to the floor, but a minor detail.

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay over following a day at Paultons Park. Just a 15 minute drive away, we found the White Rabbit which more than served its purpose for the night. The staff were excellent and very welcoming during our stay. Bedroom was very clean and tidy, exceeding expectations. We also had dinner in the evening, which had decent potion sizes and tasted great. The experience was topped off when this staff unexpectedly brought my daughter's pudding out with a candle in for her birthday! Thankyou Bunny & Holly

Had a comfortable stay at the BnB and enjoyed the evening food at the pub. Room and bathroom very clean. Great value for money. Central location. Ample parking. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable and food at the pub actually exceeded expectations so all in all great place to stay the night on a long hike or cycle across New Forest. Would stay again. Super happy with pub closing at 10am so quiet and good night sleep had. Actually pub decor and ambience was really lovely, can see recently refurbished.

BnB rooms could use general TLC, a lick of fresh paint and updating but no great issue key thing was it was clean and quiet.

In a great location we booked 3 rooms for 3 couples all staying there for a wedding which was taking place in a nearby village. Carl the manager and his team looked after us all very well, including organising taxis.

Liked everything the rooms, food and location great team fully recommend to anybody wanting to stay at the White Rabbit.

The staff were very welcoming; nothing was too much bother. The room was extremely clean but the ceiling in room 3 looked like it was about to fall in. The freedom to come and go at any time and the flexibility to book/cancel breakfast, lunch or dinner with very short notice.

When we visited it was extremely humid; there was no air conditioning and the window only opened a fraction. Although the room came with a fan it was just circulating hot air - not very comfortable. The road running alongside gets very busy first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon.

lovely bar area and patio area, especially as the weather was nice. We had a very spacious bedroom which was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff were absolutely amazing, very attentive and just lovely people. I would definitely stay here again.

The room is in need of modernisation, which I was told that they are having a refurb within the next year. This is just a minor note as the good outweighs this.

The hotel is in a good location, minutes walk into the town. Parking is plentiful and free. The room had more space than most with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with gluten free options available. On the two occasions we dined in the evening the food was very good, again with a good choice of gluten free options. And, most importantly all staff we met throughout our stay were friendly and efficient. If the same value for money is maintained we plan staying at the White Rabbit again.

staff were very helpful, happy and could not do enough for you. The hotel looks like it could do with a make over internally but all acceptable.

maybe a lift could had helped or a way of avoiding all the stairs carrying a heavy case to the top of the hotel. ( if poss maybe looking at ages of the people staying ad looking at putting them on lower room levels)
