Staff were really good. Asked me what I was doing that evening and volunteered to get travel info for me I was solo travelling and they upgraded my room to a double for comfort as they had one free. Really good. Best reception experience I have had and I travel a lot.

Nothing. Really good stay. Room was great. Good location. I stay in Manchester a lot so would recommend

The room was clean and quite spacious for the type of room. The location was excellent as it was right near the University which is why we were there.

The only thing I would say is that the electric socket near the mirror was hanging off and looked unsafe, but I was able to use another one instead, so not the end of the world. Also the fire alarm going off at some ridiculous time for about a minute. No idea if it was a test, or a false alarm but it was whilst we were both still asleep so slightly annoying, but not enough to complain about as it was great stay otherwise.

Easy to find, convenient location, Conveniently laid out room, dark curtains, USB outlets for phone charging, WiFi was fine, breakfast buffet was plentiful and reasonably priced (£10/person paid in advance at checkin) and uncrowded during our stay.

Minor maintenance issues that would have been easy to fix during routine inspections: an electric didn't work, the drain stopper needed adjusting in order to drain the sink, the toilet seat was loose. Only a little storage space for clothes and it was not enclosed (no drawer, no wardrobe).

Great location - it's a 15-minute walk to Picadilly, and there's plenty of places to eat and drink around, including a Spar across the road. Oxford Road and the Uni are a short walk, too. Staff were very helpful and were always around. The room was nice, and the bed was firm but comfortable. It's a pretty great spot if you're after cheap and cheerful accommodation in Manchester. It had a sort of really nice hostel vibe to it - I'm terms of the decor and size of the lobby, etc.

The only issues I had were that the WiFi in my room wasn't great. It kept dropping out every so often, and for a while, so did the signal on the TV. I figured I may have been in a bit of a black spot. The breakfast was fine, but it had been under the heater a while, I think, so it wasn't amazing - but it's a hotel buffet. I came down at around 9 am, so maybe it's better earlier.

The location is fantastic. The room I got was small. Perfect for one. My room was decorated with modern minimalism. Very close to the gay district and the train. The staff was always friendly and helpful. This area is saturated with food bike delivery services. I only used Uber Eats and the delivery is lightning fast so the food was always hot. The cleaning staff was top-notch!

I thought the buffet was a little expensive for what you get. I think the room could have used a carpet cleaning but I'm sure it was on their maintenance list coming up as I could tell this is a professional hotel. The shower heads water restrictors need to be removed so there is more water pressure.

The location is very good: it was very easy to reach there any station (Oxford Road, Piccadilly, Shudehill) on foot. It is also very close to one of Free Bus stops and to lots of other bus stops. There are bars and a supermarket nearby. As it is a busy area, it is also easy to get an uber in just a few mins. Considering the location I was expecting it to be a bit noisy but it was silent enough to get a good night sleep and power naps during the day. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. They made great recommendations for me and provided any support that I needed both before my arrival and during my stay. I enjoyed every single second there. Thanks again!

The only thing that I didn't like that much was the breakfast. I don't think there are enough options, especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. Still a good value for the price though.

The best location I could have asked for (5 minutes walk to both Oxford Rd, Piccadilly, Canal St and the venues for the festival I attended). The staff were super friendly and I encountered a lot of them. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. I also barely heard any outside noise or noise from other guests. I will absolutely be returning to this hotel in the future.

The room got very warm at times, opening the window simply wasn't enough and the system in the room only blew out hot air even with the temp being set to the lowest option. The bathroom door in room 316 kept sticking which could potentially be a little dangerous for solo guests but overall didn't impact my stay too much.

The location is main selling point of this property, in between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road stations (10 mins walking to both), 10 mins from city centre and a grocery store right across the street. The room setup and size are the usual Ibis template copies, so if you have lived in any Ibis before, you know what it is like. I was out and about all day, so did not use much else of the property than my room, so overall, it met my expectations from the price point.

The bathroom could be cleaner and the washbasin had a slight blockage leading to water disposal at a slower pace than it should be. However, it had strong hot water and the shower was perfect. The property is reaching that period, where it will need heavy maintenance within a year or two, due to heavy wear and tear.

Really good location near lots of shops, bars and restaurants, right on the heart of Manchester. We were staying to see a concert at the Albert Hall, which was only a 15 minute walk away. There is also the NCP parking a 5 minute walk away which is super convenient, and if you download the app you don’t even need a ticket to access it. Room layout was very nice and modern.

Front door was a revolving one, but without a motor, so it felt a bit heavy and claustrophobic. There was a brown stain in the light switch to the toilet that we had to wipe off ourselves. It can be very noisy at night due to being opposite bars and a popular club.

Kind friendly staff, helpful vibe throughout hotel from all staff. Nice efficient well planned service and compact modern nicely designed hotel, clean room.

Maybe some change after a few days of bread choices for breakfast, because same old gets boring every day. Pity there was building work being done (men walking by window etc) but work has to be done at some time and it wasn't that bad, at least the banging wasn't carried out too early in mornings. New carpet in the lifts wouldn't go amiss, very tacky obviously a heavily used area, none of above remarks are deal breakers when the hotel offers such fantastic value for money.
