This property is so amazing. everything has been carefully thought about and the choice of decor is honestly so inspiring I need to re-do my own house. they think about everything. the shade of green on the reception desk is the same shade used to tile the outside patio. it’s a stunning, gorgeous room. I may be bias, as I am from London, for 200 I had a penthouse. I woke up and had a coffee with the electric blinds lifting and revealing Manchester. I had my little dog joining us - for free I must add!- and they tucked up his little teddy in bed in the most adorable way. they keep the whole property to this amazing level of cleanliness and every single member of staff seems like a genuinely nice, decent human. they are either all born actors or they genuinely love this job hahaha. they are all kind, sweet and due to that, I can’t see them doing that fake customer service smile which is common in hotels like this. I have extended my stay due to the love I have for this place and I already plan on coming back. I am so happy and my feet are too with the free socks 😂! Thank you so much for my stay, I want to move in hahaha. honestly, if you’re considering staying, do. it’s so worth it, it’s just amazing and you won’t regret it.

Fabulous hotel, the room was amazing, staff were friendly and very helpful.

I did know this when booking, but you are in the centre of Gay Village and my room was literally on top of a pub/club overlooking Canal Walk - a lively fun part of town - that said, the hotel did provide earplugs and it did not disturb my night at all - I was booked during the week, so it was a little quieter than the weekends - but it is a fabulous vibe and it would not stop me from staying there again, it was a great atmosphere and nice to see people enjoying themselves - the location could not have been more perfect

Loved our stay at Leven and looking forward to coming back. Location is very cool, tons of bars & restaurants in the area and it’s close to everything. Hotel itself is very cool, aesthetically it’s gorgeous- super funky. Rooms are comfortable, stylish, and we had a suite that got so much sunlight in the morning- fab! Lots of storage space, a huge fridge, and a great bathroom. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and they do great coffee at reception (which is white rare). Our suite had 2 TVs, a full wardrobe, and a super comfy couch. Definitely one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed in!

We stayed in a suite with a kitchen. The kitchen itself was great, modern, lots of storage space for food.. a dishwasher and washing machine! There were great quality appliances, pots, pans etc but only 2 of everything else (eg forks, cups, bowls), so you had to wash your dishwear immediately. This is only a small thing but some dish soap & a sponge would have been useful. We used handsoap to wash the dishes and my own face cloth. We don’t mind staying near bars etc but if you’re a light sleeper, the gay quarter is right outside and it was noisy. Not an issue for us but just to be mindful of that.

Exceptional standard of design and function in this recently refurbished building. Everything had been planned for and worked brilliantly. The shower was amazing, a clothes washer and dryer in one was very useful, fully equipped kitchenette and very comfortable huge bed. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the location is close to the train station and trams. Double glazed windows kept out any noise from the buzzy neighbourhood downstairs and the individual air-conditioning units in each room actually worked brilliantly in the changeable weather conditions during our stay. The rooms are a very generous size, especially the larger rooms and suites.

Everything. The studio was spacious, well designed and decorated, had every necessity one needed and wanted even a good quiet functioning washing machine, proper functioning appliances that looked brand new, clean, comfortable bed etc etc etc. Has a bar and common room. Quiet central Location. Access to everything by walking. Lots of restaurants and bar near by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Public parking NCP 1 minute away but can unload and load car in front of hotel. Dog friendly! Price of room in every way appropriate. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend.

The rooms were spacious, clean, with a very nice urban design. I travelled with my parents, wife and kids and asked for adjacent rooms in advance and it was fulfilled. The location is really great - it's less then 10 minutes walk from the city center (Piccadilly gardens), the National Express coach station is right behind the hotel, and there are many bars around - we found them lovely, contributing to the atmosphere.

While it didn't bother any of us as we are not very sensitive to it. The sounds from the Chorlton and Canal streets bars is noticeable during the evening. So if you are sensitive, you might want to ask for a room that turns in the other directions.

The fit out of the Leven is very good and spacious . Keeping the old building exterior is brilliant. Location is great and walking distance to most things as well as the public transport. I also liked the ability to grab a coffee whenever required and the small sitting area at reception is quite charming.

As there are no dishwashing or laundry consumables in the unit it was unclear as to whether these were available from reception. They are available and perhaps a sign or direction at check in would have made this easier.

The staff were really welcoming and accommodating. They allowed us to drop our bags off before check-in so that we could go into town. I had also purchased some balloons and a banner as it was a special occasion and housekeeping very kindly put these up before our arrival. We ran out of milk in the room as we drink a lot of tea but reception gave us some fresh milk. The room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The toiletries provided in the room were high quality and available to purchase from reception if you wish. Overall, there was a really nice atmosphere in the hotel and we would 100% stay again. Very stylish building, lovely rooms. On a busy street but quiet inside. Not sure about weekends though 😁 Very friendly staff. Great cocktails. Given a free upgrade to a penthouse room. Given recommendations for 24 hour parking for £12 just around the corner. Good location for Bridgewater Hall.

Breakfast could have been better. Continental but no meats or cheeses. I don't think there are the facilities to provide much else as it was presented in a small room with just a small fridge for storage. Could have had cream cheese to have with the bagels? Sourdough bread was good though.

Incredible location and all staff were very friendly and welcoming - attentive but not overbearing. A big thank you to them!

We stayed in one of the penthouse suites, and found the kitchen was under-equipped; no dishwasher tabs or washing-up liquid, no cooking oil, and only two plates, two knives and forks etc - with no way to wash them up, what do you eat your breakfast off of/with? The pillows on the bed have zero, and I mean ZERO structure, they completely collapse with your head on them, giving no support at all. There was also a dog poop on the balcony.
