The hosts were brilliant, attentive, and friendly. They were very happy to help us and offer any tips on the area but also were not overbearing and just allowed us to enjoy our stay.The owners even let us leave our car on the premises one day while we caught the steam train from the station just down the road. Breakfast was delicious,one of the best I've had in a guest house, the bowls of fresh fruit were also a really nice touch. I have a serious food allergy and this was not an issue at all. The room was lovely, very comfortable with the most amazing bed! We would definitely return!

There's nothing not to like about it! I personally didn't find Paignton to be the most attractive town, however, the guesthouse is in a nice and quiet area and is very central to a lot of beautiful places.

Had a large bed in room which we asked for but unfortunately my side of the bed the springs had gone and there was a large dip and could feel the springs around the dip. When showering the tray kept filling up, almost to the bottom of the door and had to stop showering as affraid it was going to overflow. Also big airlock in pipes which made a lot of noise. To be fair after mentioning it to the owner he said he was aware of it and was trying to deal with the problem.

Despite being just off the busy Sands Road and facing onto St Andrews Road, there was little exterior noise (I didn't even hear the New Year fireworks). Warm welcome and Nick, who seemed to be on duty all the time, extremely helpful with regard to providing plates / cutlery / condiments for a take-away and producing excellent cooked breakfasts. Both room and en-suite warm, with adjustable CH. Ease of key access to the property good, and we were allowed an extra hour on departure as our relatives were expecting us later than 10:00 a.m.

Although shampoo and shower gel were provided, the press button use was stiff to use - the only minor gripe I can think of!

Really comfortable bed, well equipped room complete with a kettle, mini fridge topped up with water, coffee and biscuits each day, en- suite shower, hair dryer and TV, good wi-fi and prime location within walking distance of the pier. Breakfast was delicious served between 8-9am by the friendly owner Nick, lots of of choice from cereals, yogurts and fruit to a hearty fry up and tasty eggs Benedict or eggs royale and a veggie option of avocado and tomato on toast.

Shower pressure could have been a little better but honestly couldn't fault anything else.

Location. Comfortable beds , ample tasty breakfast. Friendly hosts .overall nice stay with few niggles .which hosts quickly sorted

Not so much didn't like ..more like niggles .on arrival parking space took a bit of manoeuvring. Not issue for me but others.. on 2nd night of stay .more space.. But why put charging notice on bathroom wall about make up stained towels ?? What else would women wear on holiday.. ?? Hotels use white towels for a reason..

A lovely welcome and a great few days. Room was on the top floor which was fine for us with lovely views. Comfy bed and a lovely touch of a mini Fridge and welcome bottles of water. Nick refilled our teas and coffee every day and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and we both enjoyed it very much.

The only problem would be parking but we managed and found somewhere every night.

We really enjoyed are stay the room was very comfortable lovely large room with plenty of seating area lovely comfortable arm chairs in bay window looking out to there garden the bed was lovely and big and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the host was very helpful it was lovely when we arrived the heating was on so the room was lovely and warm

Lovely bathroom but unfornately the shower wasn't very powerful took a long time to rinse my hair which is long

Breakfast included. Great twin room. Huge en-suite shower. Location to town walking distance.

Thin walls. Could hear the guy in the next room talking on the phone or laptop from 8am to late at night like he was living there and working from home. When he walked around his room it shook the floor and beds in ours. A bath would have been great. The bathroom is big enough to take one.

Very substantial breakfast. Generous portions. Liked the friendliness of the owner who made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Lovely and clean throughout.

It was stated on Booking.com that Easton had a bar and garden but neither were in evidence. This was a shame because an evening sitting in the garden in the beautiful weather would have been a pleasant bonus to complete the day.
